9 Chapter 09: Ambush Into the Night

"W-w-what the hell are you doing on top of me?!"

The woman yelled before pushing Geo off of her. Geo fell on the ground, but before hitting his head he moved in such a way that he could catch himself. Landing onto his hand and feet, almost like a cat.

"Well... you had fallen asleep. And..."

The woman reacted furiously thinking he was trying to do something to her.

"And What?!"

As she yelled a searing pain struck her head.

"Ouch!"

The woman began to feel groggy and almost collapsed. Geo quickly proceeded to catch her and gently lay her down.

"I washed your body... as you were drenched in sweat. Is that something I shouldn't have done? And take it easy why don't you, having almost beaten me in the drinking competition must have left a heavy headache."

The woman let Geo lead her onto the bed, soon after the woman realized she was still naked and got embarrassed.

"You... y-you have seen everything haven't you?"

The woman asked carefully. To which Geo nodded as he scratched his head and looked away. Now completely flustered the woman wanted to throw a tantrum but realized she couldn't because of the splitting headache. Embarrassed she turned away and covered her face.

"Now... I can't get married anymore..."

Geo shrugged.

"A beautiful woman like you? Stop fooling yourself.

It means nothing if a man or two would have seen you in this state!

Those who truly fall for you wouldn't mind, right?"

The remark somewhat calmed the woman down.

But soon after Geo couldn't resist making a sneering remark after it,

quickly killing the nice mood they found themselves in after all the awkward moments.

"Then again... you're a woman, so you shouldn't be worried about those things at all."

Geo lifted his shoulders as he didn't understand why women always worry about these things. The woman couldn't let the remark slide but wasn't able to lash out because of her splitting headache.

Geo noticed she was embarrassed about being naked and wanted to even the playing field. Remembering what his friends told him long ago he quickly stripped off his robes and shirt. Now in full glory, he thought this would calm down the woman. But instead, she couldn't believe her eyes.

Looking at how ripped Geo was she began to feel rather awkward but didn't know how to react anymore everything together was too much to bear. Smoke came out of her ears as she slowly turned bright red.

Geo thought she needed to drink more water. He then proceeded to run to the bathroom, only to bolt back, grab a mug and dash towards the bed.

There he tried to give the water to her in one fell swoop, resulting in a clumsy movement drenching her in the liquid.

Not knowing what happened she smothered her hands onto her face, Geo apologized and quickly grabbed a blanket to wipe it all off. Then he carefully grabbed something for her to drink. Flustered Geo sat down next to her as he tried to apologize again.

"Sorry for drenching you... I thought you needed something to cool down."

Looking at his bashful expression the woman quickly forgot the reason why she was mad,

and took another glimpse at his ripped attire.

The woman had somewhat of a perverted expression as she almost began to drool.

To which Geo replied.

"If you were a man, wouldn't you be called a pervert and slammed in the face right now?

This calls us even doesn't it?"

Quickly she restored her composure, almost making it seem like it was Geo who was at the vault here.

"Hmm? To be honest, it was you who came onto me first, right?"

Geo knew this would happen so he thought only of punishing the struggling young woman.

As he walked towards her to react he had not realized one of the windows in the living room had been left unattended. Someone had snuck inside, before Geo could start his punishment he heard a small thud in the room next door.

*thud*

The woman heard it too and nervously replied.

"W-what w..."

Geo quickly covered her mouth as to not give away their position and turned towards her.

"Were you followed?!"

As Geo asked outraged by the discovery he soon realized she too was on surveillance.

At this time it was unclear who followed her here,

but one thing was certain, they were here to clean up the mess that had been created.

"Mm.. hm... mm... hm..."

Geo lifted his hand as she had something to say.

"It must be them."

"Them?"

"The rest of my squad members."

Geo looked at her, knowing this was just the beginning of even more trouble.

They had to get away before being caught, that should be their top priority,

but... Without clothes, they couldn't leave right away...

They had to find a way to their clothes which were still in the other room without being caught.

But before they could, the door to the bedroom began to creak.

*creak*

Slowly opening the both of them braced themselves for what was to come. Geo quickly pulled the woman with him, as they took cover inside the closet next to the bed. Leaving it open for just the tiniest of cracks they were still able to inside the room as they would hopefully not give away their position.

As the cover-up was improvised in such a small time they did not have time to prepare for whoever was about to enter their room. Meaning they were glued together within the small confined space of the closet. Geo still didn't know the name of the woman with who he was residing in the room.

Not to mention that he had left the tap open as it continued to drizzle out water.

As they peered into the darkness Geo swore he could see a silhouette,

even darker than the room brush by.

As it did, both their heartbeats began to pound like crazy. The woman felt Geo's breath on her body and didn't know what to do. One of her arms was around his neck as their heads were right there facing each other.

Then suddenly another silhouette brushed by, now closer to the closet their heartbeats stopped. Geo couldn't stay still and slightly moved his leg, soon he realized the woman had been leaning on his leg, which now resulted in a grinding movement. Unable to resist her feelings the woman began to breathe more heavily and released a warm deep breath into Geo's ear.

Soon after she covered Geo's mouth with the hand around his neck as she saw he wanted to apologize for his actions. Knowing he wouldn't be able to stay quiet this was the best she could come up with

On the other hand, the grinding began to make her mind spin as she too did something irrational, lowering her hand something hard was poking it.

As she soon was realizing what she was holding she screamed and the both of them fell out of the closet. Quickly they picked each other up as they looked around to prepare for the worst...

But... nothing was there... no sign of other, or even silhouettes in the dark, just nothing...

A sigh of relief left their lungs as they soon realized just how awkward the situation had been.

Both their heads turned as red as beets.

The woman wanted to shout pointing out the inappropriate situation they had been in,

but before she could Geo pulled the same trick on her. Covering her mouth as he whispered to her.

"I can't hear a sound... didn't I leave on the tap in the bathroom?"

The lights were on in there, but it was true...

No sound... No sound at all... This didn't feel right... Were they truly alone?
