2 Chapter 2: Being kicked out

"RING~" the school bell rang,announcing the dismissal of students. Charlotte walked quietly from the classroom to the school gate, keeping her head tilted to the ground, not lifting a inch. "Out of school...back to misery" Charlotte thought while sighing, knowing that once she reach home, her so-called "Cinderella mode" will be activated.

"IM HOME!" Charlotte called out while removing her shoes. She entered the living room, seeing her step Mother and step Sister sitting on the couch,both crossing legs, they both have a "I'm gonna kill you" eye contact towards Charlotte. Charlotte asked out of curiosity " yes?". Just one word. That one word which came out of Charlotte's mouth. Made Cassandra furious, Charlotte can sense the tension in the living room. The next thing she know is that she is being kicked out from the house. "WHAT?!" Charlotte shouted and slammed the table. What kind of logic is this? Being kicked out of your own house by strangers? "You heard my Mother! Get lost!" Ema added, pointing the packed luggage of Charlotte.

Bargain? Charlotte won't dare. Charlotte accepted Cassandra's order as she know that she will get hit if she refuse. The door opened slowly,light from outside was shining in, Charlotte's father is back from work. Charlotte didn't even bother to beg her father to let her stay,she knew that he wound obviously be on Cassandra's side. In fact he did... well it's not suppressing.

Charlotte walked pass her father, not lifting her head to greet him or even looked at him. Talking the luggage, Charlotte walked out of the house, not even looking back. She was fading from the sight...blinded by the light...
