The bombshell had been dropped... quite fancily too. It came more of a shock to Rita than it did to Eva, though it was still quite shocking, so to say in the least. For one, Rita was expecting him to say he was from some royal family or something along those lines.

But no, he was the freaking son of an Archangel!

That explained a lot of things. Why her uncle, or to be exact, her foster father, was so bent on training him, why his flow of divine pattern was so different from the few she had seen so far, why he was absurdly much more powerful than her siblings, and why... as embarrassing as it is, why he was so divinely handsome.

A grimace formed on Rita's lips at that last train of thought. The teenage boy in front of her was no doubt handsome, most likely one of the most handsome, if not the most attractive male she had ever met in her life, but why she was intrigued by him was something she couldn't quite place.
