48 Chapter 44: Anatomy

'No, what is this? This is not how it was supposed to be! It was supposed to be like this!'

Toshirou sauntered backwards, trying to figure out where the next attack would come from, but due to his loss of sight, it was a very difficult task to accomplish.

"Puah!!"

A kick to his midsection caused him to skid in the air. He grabbed a hold of himself and flipped around, landing haphazardly on his two feet. His stomach was in a lot of pain, plus he felt like puking on the ground. He was sure, definitely sure that one of his kidneys had been busted.

"Be healed!"

Placing his hand over his eyes for like, the twentieth time, he hissed in frustration as his healing technique did not work and his eyes refused to see. 

"You're really going to die, Aosaki."

Mahalalel's words rang as serious and true. Every single doubt in Toshirou's mind was cleared. He was really going to die.
