2 Draconica

Gabriel, the Arcane Warrior, board the train bound to the nation of dragons, Draconica. As he stared at the window, he saw the citizens of the Empire working together to repair the damage caused by the Tectonic Mage.

Seven years ago, the Empire fell into war with one of its neighboring nations located in the Northern Regions, Borea. The war was caused by a noble of Borea that was executed in the Empire for committing treason against the Emperor. The political conflict between the two nations escalated to war. Borea possesses a strong military force, rumored to be enough to take on all of the military force of other nations combined. Borea is home to the strongest of Ice Mages, Frost Giants, Ice Wyrms and Dragons, and even the rumored legendary artifact; the Frozen Fire.

Due to the sheer power of Borea, the Empire was losing the war. Until one day, the Emperor signed a single paper thag permits the usage of Magic Users to fight back. With that single paper a force made of purely Mages was born. A single mage can wipe out a whole batallion of infantries in one night. One of such mages was Marco, the Tectonic Mage. He gained the title of Tectonic Mage because he split the land in two, separating the mainland of Borea to the Empire. He also raised mountains and volcanos to block off the advances of the Borean force. Marco was the key to the Empire's victory.

Five years ago, the war finally ended with the Empire's victory. Marco was promoted to Lt. Colonel together with his partner, the Silent Mage Chris. One day, Chris started to notice Marco's strange behaviour. Yet, he did not put too much attention to it. Then news came that Marco attempted to assassinate the Emperor. Without falter, Chris volunteered to be in-charge of bringing Marco to justice.

Now, we see Colonel Chris Leo talking to Marco in his cell,

"Marco, why did you rebel against his majesty?"

Marco scoffs and replied with a shaky voice,

"This Empire... is evil."

Chris shudders in disbelief,

"Just how much brain damage did my brother do to you? Well, I'll be going now old friend."

Two days have passed and Gabriel finally reached Draconica. As he steps out of the train, the citizens of Draconica immediately caught his attention. These people are reptilian bipedal humanoids. Gabriel started to walk around and familiarize the place. Majority of rhe structures are made of light materials, with some standing in shallow waters. Most of the foods being sold were mostly fish and crustaceans. The citizens of Draconica stands up to seven feet tall and with a length of 12 feet from nose to tail. They have limbs with three fingers each, all capable of grip and handling materials, they are also equipped with sharp claws and hard scales. Their jaws vary from crocodile-like to snake-like. Some Draconicans carry a huge shell similar to a turtle. They speak their own tongue together with human tongue.

Gabriel was busy checking out the map pf Draconica when suddenly, a huge explosion went off not far from where he is. He went to check it out immediately and found two Draconians fighting. One Draconian stood at eight foot tall and a huge bulky body. His body is covered with a huge dark-green turtle shell, his neck and limbs are unusually long for a turtle. He is covered with lots of scars on his skin and a worn out shell. The turtle is fighting against a seven feet tall Draconian that resembles a dinosaur. He crowns three horns on his head and had a heavily armored tail. He is covered with scales and on his back are large quills.

The two opposing side began speaking a mixture of Draconian and Human tongue. The turtle growled with a deep and hissing voice,

"Shii... I lived for sseven hundred essio. Neither are you to overcome me nor are you to learn your athuu. Val-ok essio, zu'um les-ohk saa!"

The dinosaur slammed his tail into the ground, the force was so strong that the bystanders lost their footing and it damaged the road. With a defeaning roar the dinosaur replied,

"Then come at me traitor! I shall make you carve your name on your own va-al, yes. Zu'um les-ohk kro! Your name on the grave."

The two charged at each other and started brawling. Kicks and punches were thrown, slams and slahes, pound and tackle, they continued their beatdown until they are both heavily injured and out of stamina.

Gabriel looked around and asked himself,

"Is there no one in here that will stop these two? At this rate one of them is going to end up dead."

Gabriel was surprised when someone with a beautiful feminine-like voice hissed behind him saying,

"That iss how we do thingss here in Draconica, human."

Gabriel verified who that was and he saw a humanoid Draconian. He resembled more like a human than a reptile. Though his body is still covered with hard scales, he stands erect with a height of atleast five feet. His long slender tail extends up to four feet in length. His limbs are similar to a human with five fingers in each, equipped with short but sharp claws. His face is also close to that of a human, however his eyes, nose, mouth and ears are all reptilian.

Gabriel stepped back a little and put on his guard, then suddenly he was caught between the fight of the two draconian. He was accidentally grabbed by the dinosaur's tail and was slammed to the turtle, hitting the hardest part of its body. Gabriel then was thrown to the ground unintentionally by the two brawling meatheads. Gabriel weakly stood up, his body glowed with blue light, he gripped his fist and joined the fight. He put up his right hand in front of him, circles with runic symbols appeared that paralyzed the brawling draconian.

The humanoid draconian stared at Gabriel intently as Gabriel casts another spell. Blood started to ooze from Gabriel's head and he was starting to get dizzy. He waved his left hand and summoned a large circle twice his size. This time it had no runic symbles. The circle began to shrink and pulsate. As it shrinks, the pulses become stronger and stronger. When the circle became so small that he can hold it with his hand, he then threw this circle on the two paralyzed draconian.

Upon reaching the ground, the circle rapidly expanded unto its original size, causing powerful shockwaves and force able to knock out the two brawling draconian. Before the explosion occured, Gabriel activated a barrier that would only contain the two brawling draconian.

The draconian bystanders were surprised. They shuddered in fear and started to hide in the nearby structures. Some even dove into the deep lake nearby, others burried underground.

Gabriel noticed this and said,

"Got scared of my spells huh..."

The sky darkens and gust of winds blew. Gabriel heard sounds of what to large wings. He looked up and saw a large flying creature in the sky, blotting out the Sun. Gabriel froze in fear as this giant creature started to descend to land.
