99 Venus

"You....what are you? How did you get that technique?" The knight expert said as he looked up at Shen, and Shen smirked as he walked back on to the arena. The stage had been completely obliterated by the beam of malevolent intent. It seemed as if evil spirits had possessed the very air they breathed.

"KRRRRRRRRRRR." A large all-encompassing sound burst out as the sky seemed to darken. It wasn't a thundercloud, it seemed the world changed tonight! In the sky wasn't the moon it was Venus, the morning star!

"What is going on?" The king uttered as he stood up from his seat and looked at the massive morning star.

"Its the ill omen, your highness." The assistant headmaster said as he removed his disguise. It was Aringer after all, he had hidden as the assistant headmaster.

"What this soon?" The King questioned as he looked at the morning star become brighter and brighter. It usurped the brightness the moon could ever generate.

No one seemed to notice Shen smiling as he looked at the morning star.

'YES, YES, YES! Keep going send the whole kingdom into chaos!' Shen was yelling out in his heart.

"Start the restrictions!" The king yelled out as Elton, Isaiah, Aringer, and a few other experts disappeared.

'It's far too late to stop it now!' Shen thought as his smile became slightly deranged.

*************************************

The experts flew over to the library in a hurry, they punched a hole in the void near the library. The entered in all at once without looking around and then they found a huge spell matrix. It was hidden in the spatial cracks between the void and the library.

"Everyone goes to each matrix, and charge it up!" Aringer yelled out as he flew to the main matrix in a hurry.

The experts burst out to each part of the formation hoping to make it in time.

"Quicker, we must stop this omen. Otherwise, our kingdom will be destroyed, and an ultimate evil will be born." Aringer yelled out in further panic

He prophesized the omen himself and had hidden a part of it. There would be a calamity and it would seriously affect the fortune of the kingdom. But that was nothing compared to the existence that would be born as a result.

It was evil incarnate, supremely powerful, and even disdained the very gods above the stars. Aringer wasn't even qualified to see more than the existence's power. So all he could divine was that it would be born on the day of the omen.

The experts sat at each part of the formation commanding a part each. They channeled their energy into the formation in a frenzy. Then a few experts faces started to pale, and a few poured even more energy.

"Aringer, the formation isn't responding!" Elton yelled out, ever since Lucas died; he had gotten much stronger. He became an early stage grand knight very recently. But he had a sturdy foundation that made him stronger than most.

"What? Just pour more energy in!" Aringer yelled as he started up the formation.

"Aringer, he isn't wrong it isn't responding!" Isaiah replied as he poured more energy into.

"What?" Aringer said as he operated the formation, and then he sadly realized it was responding.

At that moment Aringer felt like he fell into a cold abyss. If the formation was responding what would happen to the academy, what about the kingdom?

"Hehehe!" A voice of schadenfreude started to laugh out in the void

"Who are you?" Aringer screamed out in anger as he lashed out with his aura.

The void tore apart vertically creating an eye socket. Then inside the portal open an eye, it felt extremely malevolent and evil. Then a single devious smile appeared as the mouth opened up and created a black hole of devouring!

"Get back, get back!" Aringer yelled out as all the experts quickly fled from the spell circle and they moved further out into the void.

Even though they were grand knights being the void for so long would weaken them. Only void walkers can truly walk the void without any issues. Each part of the formation seemed to release energy, which was quickly and efficiently devoured by the eye.

"Wait stop it!" Aringer yelled out as he released a telekinetic giant to punch the eye.

But the eye was too fast, it consumed the energy and then the spell circle seemed to corrode. It quickly withered away as the remaining energy seemed to explode out.

"GUARD!" Aringer screamed out as he channeled his energy into a shield. The eye content with the energy faded away and the energy exploded out like a big bang.

The power forced back every one of the experts and even went on to creating massive spatial storms. The experts rode out the energy in hopes of surviving, but two of the experts had been blown apart by the storm.

"Alfred, Luke!" Aringer bellowed as their bodies were corroded by the void into husks.

"Damn it, they were corrupted by the will of the void. Get away from the quick!" Aringer shouted to the remaining experts, but they weren't fast enough the corrupted experts quickly attacked.

"Damn it, I didn't want to do this....." Aringer said in a low growl as his eyes flashed with violet power.

"Domain of Space!" The Abyssal will of space seemed to be overridden by Aringer's will, and the corrupted experts seemed scared, and they turned to flee.

"Too late, Legendary Art: Spatial Grave." Aringer intoned as the domain shrunk down into his palm. He punched out with his domain, as space warped along like a wave.

The moment the wave reached the experts, it exploded out with a contained but powerful spatial explosion. It was like space collapsed on itself, and then a black hole formed killing the corrupted experts.

Aringer took a deep breath, but his face was extremely pale. He had used a legendary technique that was his hidden card, but he himself wasn't a legendary yet. So the price was no small one, especially using such a powerful domain.

Aringer seemed to lose consciousness, as the remaining experts rushed over. Isaiah looked at the destroyed spell circle and had a terrifying thought.

'Why do I feel like that Eye spared me and Elton?' He wondered, earlier the explosion seemed more concentrated on the other experts.

It was like the Eye had calculated everything, and then made sure to let them survive.

"Aringer, are you okay?" Isaiah said as he put the matter behind him, he was a close friend of Aringer. He knew the price he paid to use that domain.

Aringer vomited some blood, and then stood upright soon after.

"I am fine, I just can't fight for a while." He said as he felt the spatial fluctuations around him.

"Damn it, we are sealed...." Aringer said as he gritted his teeth.

"What do you mean?" Isaiah asked as he tried punching the void, but he couldn't even make it move.

"That fucking eye drained the spell circle and then detonated it. We can't use the circle to open the void and get out now!" Aringer said with an angry shout, he was extremely weakened so he didn't move too much.

Even though he forced out the will of the abyss, without the spell circle that wouldn't last. All of a sudden, Aringer's eyes shined with a violet light. He saw a terrifying scene of a demonic serpent burning with black flames descending to the mortal plane.

Then the serpent started to fight against the King and all the kingdom's hidden cards. Then when the serpent barely beat them off, a masked figure appeared in the sky. He had a white mask with a vertical eye of chaos covering it, and then...

"Arghhhhhhhh!" Aringer yelled out as the scene distorted into a laughing evil eye.

"That monster, he's the ultimate evil!" Aringer yelled out in a crazed voice.

"Aringer, What is it?" Isaiah said as he warily moved back from Aringer.

"That demon is nothing, that eye is evil; we have to get out or else it will destroy everything!" Aringer muttered in a crazed voice as he fainted.

"What kind of prophecy did he just see?" Isaiah said uncertainly as he grabbed Aringer and carried him to his side.

"Everyone reassemble we need to ride out for a few hours." Isaiah said as the experts regathered near the remnant spell circle.

"What happened?" Volkmer said as he looked at Isaiah.

"Not important for now, we need to ride out the attacks from the void." Isaiah said as he gripped his holy sword, and carried Aringer to his side.

"I have an idea about that." It was Timothy the son of the Headmaster.

"What is it?" Isaiah asked as he looked at Timothy, he had recently reached grand mage level. Although he was much older than Elton, he was still very talented to reach such a level at 300 years old.

"I'll repair the spell circle, with some help. You handle the incoming void walkers." Timothy seemed to declare as he went to the spell circle.

"Fine, Volkmer can your disciple handle things out there?" Isaiah asked as he looked at Volkmer.

"Although he acts idiotically, I think he can handle things well. What about the other knights, we have only the king and knights out there." Volkmer said as he raised his spear.

"I don't know about the knights, but the king.....He's powerful the strongest in the kingdom. But he can't use his full power anymore, even if he did it wouldn't be for long." Isaiah said without regard for national secrets, the king has been growing old over the years.

He knew he needed to pick and train an heir soon, so he accelerated the process. He even revealed that Sword king and Flame Princess were his children.

"We just have to hope that our kingdom, has the destiny to last through this calamity." Volkmer sighed as they saw a vortex form out the spell circle.

Out of it came gigantic tentacles filled with evil intent, they seemed to move without any issues in the void. Normally even a top expert has some resistance moving through the void. Except for void walkers who are almost unbeatable in the void.

"Attack!" Isaiah yelled out as they each released their strongest powers. Isaiah felt a tentacle fly over at Aringer at his side, he quickly cut it apart.

"Damn, the rumors are true. These bastards love to hunt for spatial energy." Isaiah mumbled as he guarded Aringer
