88 Transitioning Knight

In the sky appeared a massive black lotus, it rapidly revolved as it unfurled. Along the lotus leafs a kirin danced with lightning, an ouroboros pounced, a great tree supported a realm, and a devil suppressed the world

The lotus released intense shadow force to supplement my magic power. As inside of me fire and ice fought a desperate battle with my organs as the playing field. My left eye shined with a cold freezing light, and my right eye was burning with a golden black flame.

"Wood feeds fire, and water nourishes wood." I declared as the transformations in my body quickly proceeded.

The ice moved to the left side and stayed there unable to cross into the domain of the fire in the right. The Azure Great tree released wood true essence, that feed the fire! The water element inside of me then nourished the wood.

"Devour Primordial Will!" I released my devouring power inside my own body, and the Primordial Wills was completely consumed.

"Imprint!" I declared as the dragon of devouring fused with the ice and fire wills. To the left, the dragon was completely frozen, and on the right, it burned like a Phoenix.

"Bloodline Genesis." My eyes became violet slits, as my bloodline activated in full.

I could feel the Dragon inside me roar to the heavens, as the scales on my body metamorphosed. Both my right and left arm became completely plated with black runic scales. I revolved energy into palms, in my Draconic claws was born my newest powers.

"Absolute Zero." In my left hand was formed a rotating Icicle of absolute zero! When I devoured the black lotus, it included Brian's magical style. Which I decided to make my own, along with other things.....

In my right hand was formed an inferno of underworld flames. The golden black flames danced in my hand like Phoenix, this was my own ideas on the use of magic with Dante's essence powering it.

"Underworld Flames." My first true purely magical attack, not involving swordsmanship at all.

As my magic manifested, I felt a bottleneck almost immediately shatter. Inside my body was formed a vortex of ice and fire energy that exploded out. On the lotus leaf, a phoenix flew onto the Azure Great Tree and settled on top. The icy wolf slept in front of the tree calmly as it released icy force.

All over my body, my cells were saturated with the fire and ice. It started to alter the fundamental structure of my body. I could feel my affinity with fire and water increase.

With all this power, my level started to increase; and then it finally happened. I could feel my inner and outer physique start to fuse. In my status screen, my additions and my regular stats started to fuse and both increase in turn.

This was the final result of transitioning, one would fuse their inner and outer physique becoming a true knight. The biggest advantage was the result was additive, any stats that was fused would be doubled.

Among the most skilled, they would fuse 70-80% of their inner physique with their outer physique. But with a foundation as perfect as mine, there was potential for perfect fusion. Of course, that in itself was no small feat, even I would require a little help to succeed.....

I felt something wriggling on my forehead at the moment of stat fusion. It was as though something was trying to escape, then on my forehead where my sword holding my true qi was an eye!

The eye was extremely sinister, it had fused with my true qi sword becoming a terrifying eye of malice. Before I could realize my sword intent substantialized even more. I looked at my status curious about my current situation.

I went through my status and checked on the things that changed. I first clicked my title, which was now Transitioning Knight.

The host has started the transitioning process, you are no longer an apprentice.

I then clicked on advanced telekinesis

The host has advanced in telekinesis, and have now unlocked spatial sensing.

I then looked at my magic power, which had for some reason increase by 10 again.

"Drrak what is up with my magic power?" I asked confused.

"Well this is a special case, you somehow advanced in telekinesis again. The magical prowess you have isn't weaker than a level 30 mage. You just haven't broken through but if you do want too, you should have no big restrictions now." Drrak said as he gauged my response.

"I already told you about my given plan for breaking through. If I do it, then it must perfect; after all, you know what I pursue." I said to Drrak with a smile

"You've stressed your point enough, I understand how stubborn and adamant you are," Drrak said as he sighed in anguish trying to convince Lucas to do anything he didn't want to do was almost impossible.

Even if you did successfully coerce him into something, you would suffer for it in the future. Not the distant future, but something akin to a few years and sometimes even less for some people...I went back to scrolling along my status, and then I saw something especially strange and eye-catching.

'Huh?' I thought as I looked at Eye of Chaos, I clicked on it and a status screen appeared.

'Drrak, what the hell happened?' I asked as I looked at the status screen confused.

'Ah, you've reached the edge of all your powers. They are starting to fuse more and more Drrak said cryptically

'Just explain how this happened.' I said impatiently with Drrak's platitudes.

'You reached an Advanced level in telekinesis, which allowed you to activate your spatial sense. Right now you can feel everything around you within 100 meters.' Drrak said to me, as I tried it out. He wasn't lying I felt as though I could feel everything around me, even a grain of sand on the ground.

'What does that have to do with it?' I asked in further curiosity.

'In reaching this level, you are on the verge of creating your third eye. Which allows you to see using just your consciousness, It is a mage exclusive ability.' Drrak said as he inspected my face for a reaction

'Alright, I am still following.' I said to reassure Drrak

'Now as the eye was coming into existence, it was influenced by two things.....' Drrak said as he awaited my response.

'My magic eyes, and true qi right?'

'Yes, your path of chaos and your foundation of analysis. Fused with the power of your magic, you fused all your powers to create your Eye of Chaos.' Drrak said almost proud of himself and his knowledge

I activated the Eye of Chaos as a runic pattern flashed in all three of my eyes. The plain turned into a green energy matrix, and at the center where the statue stood was a hidden portal!

"What the hell is that?" I asked Drrak as I stared at the portal

"What?" Drrak asked as he looked where I was looking.

"Wait a moment," I said as I activated the restrictions on my stomach, I clenched my fist and punched with void shattering.

In front of the statue, came about a black vortex of primordial qualities. Then statue looked pleased for a moment, then it disappeared into the vortex. The vortex remained still as if it would never collapse.

"What just happened?" I asked as I watched the statue disappear into the vortex utterly dumbfounded by the development.

"Did you see that portal using your Eye of Chaos?" Drrak asked as he looked at me confused.

"Yeah, I just noticed it....." I said surprised, it was something that even Drrak couldn't notice. Yet I could, it seems this power is very powerful.

"How utterly terrifying, neither your sword heart; nor the third eye is truly developed yet they start this strong," Drrak said almost scared himself

I couldn't help but smirk, everything was slowly heading my way with planning.

"This is my path..." I said out loud as I looked at the vortex, my Eye of Chaos pierced into it. I was rather surprised with what I saw, but I kept that to myself.

"What's in there?" Drrak asked as he looked at my knowing face.

"Let us leave that for another time, we have other matters to attend to," I said with a dastardly smirk, in my heart the lotus was in full bloom.
