82 Spatial Crack
We descended to the floating island in the sky, from around the realm appeared various experts bringing the younger generation with them. I looked at Brian and Dante standing together, and Brian looked at me with a smile.
It was a smile of warning telling me not to try anything here. I smiled back at him, I communicated that I had no intentions of starting anything here. Teacher Elton came over to me and thanked Ice Queen she nodded and gave me a final look.
'Is she still angry over the drawing?' I thought as I noticed the anger her stare
Teacher Elton wryly smiled as he came to my side, Grandmaster Isaiah was standing next to Carina.
'I am surprised to see that she is a mage.' I thought as I looked at her spear, it was designed like a spear. But it acted more like a staff of magic power.
'Is this the style of holy magicians?' I thought as I examined the spear's materials
I could swear that I saw a holy dragon shadow on the spear, as it moved to coil around the spear. After I blinked the dragon disappeared and the spear returned to its original state. I wanted to activate my magic eyes but doing so could be dangerous.
So I curbed my desire and focused on the situation at hand. Aringer went to the front of the experts and his immense magical aura was fully released. The Earth gate was starting to close, due to the fey beast's interference.
'What is this power?' I wondered as I felt his rising aura, it wasn't like elemental aura it had different qualities.
"Its no wonder, the king treats Aringer as his hidden card. He's mastered telekinesis to the peak, even making a domain through it." Teacher Elton said in dread
'This is just through telekinesis?' Even I could use telekinesis but this was using it to alter the fundamental structures of reality. This is was a true godlike act, as I thought his aura cut the portal fully open.
'If he can do this with just telekinesis, then what about his elemental powers.' I thought in utter dread as Aringer flew straight into the portal.
Teacher Elton grabbed me and walked into the portal in the sky. When we reached the ground of the other realm, I could see the fey beast except it was chained. Its head, and arms were trapped in the portals, and its body was being chained by magical chains. Along the chains was the glyphs that were imprinted on its face.
'So this was their play.' I thought in appreciation, using the portals; and most importantly magic dampening they could seal that thing.
If they didn't use magic dampening, the fey beast could just twist space and appear wherever it wanted. The ground was like a black desert, sand stretching across the plains.
The wind was as dark as the realm if a regular mortal were here. They would slowly find that their vitality has faded away, and become a skeleton among the sands.
"From here, the younger generation is on their own." Aringer coldly said as he looked at the experts. They all had a tacit agreement to not interfere with the younger generation's growth. The school was of the opinion that one must learn harsh realities.
"Lucas, do not feel indignant even flame princess; and sword king had this treatment. I know that with your strength you will be fine, but be careful." Teacher Elton urged me
"I promise to do so teacher." I had no problem with this situation, I wanted to explore myself anyway. Especially given how suited I am to this place.
I could feel myself blending with the sand, I could feel the strong shadow energy in the ground. Throughout it was especially polluted by void energy, with traces of corruption energy.
"Everyone in the younger generation is to explore and return here after 7 days. All gains are your own, but if you wish you may share with your school for some gain." Aringer said as his gaze passed by each student including me
"There is no monitoring if you wish to fight amongst each other. We shall have no involvement and all issues are to be solved among yourselves." Aringer coldly intoned, and he went into the sky waiting for the other experts to join him. They had intentions to go for the heaven ranked herbs.
Each expert spoke to their disciples and students before they left. After a while, they had finally left leaving only the younger generation.
'Between the 5 elements is a plane of wind shadows. Fumes of a dying and cracked world; inside is the temple of Sopulla.' I heard a voice say in my mind
'Who are you? Why are you calling me?' I asked in my mind, but I didn't get any response.
I spoke to Drrak about the voice, when I was done. I discretely created a vortex in my left arm. In my right sleeve, an eyeless ladybug flew out and landed in my palm.
I released a hint of devil qi in my palm and came to a shadowy devilish face. I took the face and implanted into the eyeless ladybug. The ladybug shook for a moment in my hidden palm, before a pair of demonic red eyes burst out of its empty sockets.
I felt a link with the devilish ladybug, I sent communicated with the ladybug telepathically.
'Obey me, and I shall grant you a better future.' The devil eyes flashed with intelligence before it obeyed my next transmission. It flew into the ground before anyone could notice, all my actions were done in seconds.
The wings and red color became black as it entered the shadowy sands. It sneaked over to Brian and entered his shadowy discretely. Brian shivered for a moment and looked behind him, he looked disturbed but unsure. I almost wanted to chuckle but I held back my desire, to keep a facade of cluelessness.
'Worked better than I thought.' I chuckled to myself in my mind
'Drrak did you find any traces of this temple?' I asked as I looked at the Rain students
'I found something on that fey beast.' He said mysteriously, I put that matter in the back of my mind and observed the students.
Various groups started to form, some grouped around Hawkeye. Fist sovereign seemed to be a loner, but Simon was very popular among Rain's upperclassmen. The Sword Dukes and Duchesses held the rest of the Rain group. Everyone looked at me in fear, due to my previous actions. In the Rain side only Brian, Fist sovereign, and I were alone.
Everyone currently had their cultivation weakened but I realized something. I activated my magic eyes and noticed dark strands of energy. They had an essence that repelled the energy away, which exhausted that energy making them weaker. But for me, it was the opposite this energy augmented my power.
I felt my level slowly rise back to its original level, and my magic power was no longer restricted. I looked over at Brian who had a strange situation, the energy seemed to run from his icy energy. Leaving him with his energy at its maxim instead of being weakened.
Brian noticed my stare and looked into my runic eyes. I smiled back unafraid of revealing my eyes. Brian's face quickly darkened as he realized something terrifying. He looked away out of fear of any more ideas springing up.
'Oh is it that scary?' I thought as I chuckled, I didn't bother to stay any longer now that my objectives have been completed. The experts went to the deepest ends of the realm, which was quite a distance from the fey beast.
Everyone's groups went of their own directions no one wanted to go near the fey beast though. When everyone had dispersed including Brian, I myself went towards the fey beast in curiosity.
"HEHEHEHE, I knew you would be enticed into approaching." The fey beast intoned in my mind.
"You aren't the one I am looking for," I said as I shook my head, I approached the fey beast; I was now in front of the beast. I could see along its fur a shining blue set of tattoos
"You don't have to care about that, just become an offering to my pursuit of power!" The beast intoned in anger as it kicked at me and tried to free itself from the portals and chains.
"Drrak," I said as my shadow expanded, Drrak eyes opened from within my shadow. His violet malevolent gaze pierced at into the fey beast. With the power of The Shadow of Providence and shadow force, he's been recovering power.
"Return to me fragment," Drrak said in shade script
"Impossible you're that devil from long ago!" It yelled out as the tattoos peeled off, the blue tattoos flew into my shadow. The black fur became a light white and started to weaken in power.
"Drrak, do it quickly!" I yelled as I noticed the fey beast' crazed attempts to break through the portal. The chains and the portals were starting to crumble.
Drrak's dragon form consumed the tattoos' and recovered some of its glorious splendor. But within that splendor was a devilish kind of intent.
'Coordinates locked on, Lucas use the restrictions.' Drrak said in an anxious tone. I channeled activated the spell circle on my stomach activating the restrictions, and my body started to boil to an extreme. My void comprehension reached 10%, and I regained void shatter as a skill.
'GO!' Drrak roared to me in my mind, as the claw of the frantic fey beast swiped at me. The portal had been shattered as well as the chains.
"Shatter the Void!" I yelled as I stepped into space, and distorted it around me. Then with Drrak orienting my direction, I reached out and tore space creating a gate. I looked behind me, my gaze piercing at a hidden person; it was Brian! He had followed me when I left earlier but he couldn't hide once I used my Devilish ladybug.
The claw stopped in fear of the gate and moved back, I walked in the gate and teasingly looked at Brian. His face darkened but underneath that was a sense of curiosity. I knew he would definitely follow me that was a given, once he does...
