Magical Devour, you've tapped into your shadow origin taking control of your devouring aspect. You can consume magic power, to supplement yourself and weaken your opponents. Whether they be magical or not, they will experience suppression from the chaotic magic power.

Void Comprehension increased rapidly until it reached 10% and another skill appeared. Void shatter, you have gained the ability to warp space with your movement!

"True Qi Form!" I roared as my black lotus radiated intense aura, as the spatial rift started to rapidly expand.

My sword heart started to beat and a dark force came from my aura. The sword intent elongated into a black longsword pulsating shadow force. This was the third intention that my sword heart comprehended, Shadow Sword Intent!

My true qi has many forms and can support all sword intents. But the true form of my qi is from my power as the Lord of Shadows! I clapped my palms together as a vortex appeared between them. This was my magical devouring powers! I released the power as it willingly fused into the Longsword. The longsword pulsated with shadow force, as it automatically flew to me.

I hadn't truly mastered the shadow sword intent, so I only had a single strike with it before it dissolves. I gripped the longsword and felt tremendous power course through my body. But I could feel my blood boiling, and its corrosive nature was cutting at my own vitality.

'Works better than I could ever imagine, but stimulating my magical power like this is dangerous.' I thought in solemn silence, Remmie did the same thing to me.

He implanted vitality to keep me from dying immediately, but although he was an arcanist like me. He couldn't see magic and control it as well as I could. I would require far more study, and even more, vitality to maintain this in the future.

"Wait....we can discuss this." The expert said in a threatened tone, he realized the gravity of my power and his situation. At this point even if I was a much lower level, he didn't have the assurance of even leaving with his life.

"Do you think, I would do all this to let you go?" I said with ridicule.

The restrictions intertwined with their magic flows, creating a barrier that was sustained by magic power sources I left.

"The moment you came in here you were destined to die," I said with a vicious smile I moved as space warped at my feet and appeared in front of him instantly.

I removed my two sabers, one I enchanted with the Kirin sword intent. The other fitted with my Ouroboros sword intent. I shot the swords out of nowhere using telekinesis and cut his chest. He moved back enough to only get a non-fatal but debilitating slash on his chest. He gripped his chest, as he felt his breath became weaker and he spewed out some blood.

"What did you do to me." He groaned as my longsword pulsated shadow force causing the magic power around him to attack his inner physique.

While I was being supplemented by the magic power keeping my vitality fairly stable. But as time goes on, the demands of my blood will become stronger. I had to finish this faster, and kill him in a single stroke.

"Wait, Gavyn will know you killed me. Think about the trouble, that you will end up in if you do so!" He said as he inched back and was stopped from escaping by the magical barrier. I didn't respond as I kept blasting telekinetic strikes using the Kirin and Ouroboros swords.

He took out a dagger and met my further sword strikes with precision. Each exchange he was pushed back even further and was almost unable to handle my attacks. The Kirin sword would electrocute him. The ouroboros sword code would seep sword qi into his body causing more damage and my longsword would make the chaotic magic power attack him.

"No excuses, today you will die; and later I will kill Gavyn," I said in a devilish tone. I levitated my two sabers in the air and raised the black longsword.

"Sword Heart- Three Intentions!" I chanted with conviction to myself as my sword heart expanded to fit a microcosm.

The Kirin sword created unending lightning runes that danced along the sword like thunder beasts. The ouroboros sword became concentrated intense sword qi until it became a terrifying serpent of qi. The two beasts flew like a stream of thunder and a pouncing serpent!

My inner and outer physiques united in perfection to release my strength. I boosted it with telekinesis and swung my black longsword as it dissipated into a single black beam! At first, he handled the first strike and the Kirin ripped off his arm leaving only charred remains. Then the second strike flew in, as the serpent bit off his legs before he could move.

"I'll kill you with me, you little animal!" The expert roared as he took a strange herb and his blood on it. It lit with a black fire and he pointed at me releasing a stream of archaic words. As soon as he finished the third strike came in as the black beam dissected his head from his body. But I didn't have time to think as a black fire ignited on my right arm!

"Curse fire." I cursed out loud, the curse left a black flame on my arm, it made my arm temporarily paralyzed. I shut off the room's restrictions and collapsed onto the ground. My vomited a massive amount of blood, and almost passed out. My body was tired, and I couldn't move for a moment and the cursed fire burned as I went against the incredible pain and went over to the lab area.

I remembered a remedy for curses but this would only cure the symptoms, not the actual curse itself. I took the distilled potion and rubbed it on my arm. Ultimately, the black flames tattoo was still on my right arm though. I sat down and meditated to fix my inner physique. My body had dropped in strength because I destroyed my inner physique with my blood stimulation.

I was originally peak level 17 but with this, I was brought down to early level 17. Had I went a little longer, I would have fallen an entire level. My two abilities void shatter, magical devour had disappeared as well as my void comprehension and true qi dropping by 1%.

It was all magical acceleration at the moment, the acceleration ended so did my magical abilities. I would have to fix that in the time I have until the main ruin exploration. I have machinations for the ruins and some ideas; so I need to be in top form.

I sealed up the room using the magic circles' other function of sealing. Then I collapsed into a deep sleep, time quietly passed as my inner physique repaired itself, I didn't leave the room or anything like that. I had no need for food as I reached inner reformation.

1 month passed just like that, and then I decided to look at my ladybugs They had progressed quite well, becoming a batch of 20 eyeless ladybugs.

All they needed now was stardust to become true starbugs. I gave them the blessing of my true qi and separated them. I gave them a little training in smell and stealth procedures. Using parts of the lab I had redesigned to allow their training.

"It should be time," I said in a nervous tone. It had been on my mind for quite a while, and it wasn't so far from happening. It was today and the timer had only 1 hour left, I hadn't consulted Drrak because I honestly couldn't trust anyone with this.

I also made sure to hide, it, after all, I would be vulnerable going through the Darkness Origin. The status had changed as it got closer and now included a description.

'Shadow force conversion, the host has accessed true qi and shall activate the power of the Lord of Shadows. To do so host must purify the soul.'

"This will lead to my true death it seems." I had noticed it more and more, my old self was still here influencing the new me.

I am a nameless betrayed child, I am Daoist Killheart, and I am the Lord of Shadows. I am three people in one rather than one person. My past has a life of its own, my present has a life of its own, and my future has a life of its own. My Origination is to overcome the past and to become present now.

Before the start of the Origination, he appeared in front of me. My childish self, he had a naive and heartfelt look on his face. He looked at me with small tears and bowed in respect. I looked at him coldly but I was ignited in curiosity.

"You know I am the reason you will die soon." I told him in a questioning tone

"What do you mean? I chose this on my own..." He said as he wiped his tears.

"Plus, you weren't the one that made this possible. It was 'him', he was the one that made this happen." He said as he faded away slowly, I could feel my body overflowing with a shadow force, as my shadow magic power converted into shadow force!

The 'him' he spoke of was the Lord of Shadows who possessed me all those years ago. Ever since that day only appeared in front of me in that illusion.

"I will do right by you, that much I promise," I said in a cold tone, he nodded his head in response and disappeared. My soul felt cleaner and more sublime as the child disappeared and my stats and level flew through the roof, reaching peak level 19 in a single bound.

The Shadow Force ran rampant in my body, but I held it back and because I wanted to keep my foundation perfect. My stats all increased by 5 perfecting my inner physique. When I broke through to level 20, my body would have a qualitative evolution.
