80 Devilish Sword Intent
I quickly finished drawing her use of ice energy in her body. A moment later the Ice Queen's frosty eyes flashed open. I had already stopped using my magic eyes, but she continued to stare at me. It wasn't hard for me to realize how strange I must look drawing her...
But since I was young, she viewed me innocently and left me alone. She instead walked off closer to the world tree, her domain extended 100s of meters. So I had no fear of her going a little further even if she was the source of the domain.
She put her hand on the world tree, she closed her eyes and resonated her magic with it. But the world tree didn't respond it remained dead to her calls.
"Do you know what this is?" She asked in a cold tone to me
"Huh? I wouldn't know senior." I said in my most innocent voice
"Don't act on pretense with me boy, I can see the evil in your eye." She said as her glare pierced into my soul, I felt nervous for a moment but I held it back.
"I would never act on pretense, and I am whatever you say I am," I said much to my own chagrin, even if I hate it for my life I will still curb my pride.
"Hmph...I hope so." She said as she removed her hand from the world tree.
"The true World Tree exists in Mother Juphine's distant Oceanic Plane. It supports the entire plane, this is just a projection from the past...." She said with deep longing
"Mother Juphine is the origin of life...." She said in almost melancholy, I couldn't help but laugh at the irony of her situation. She desired the power to grant life, but she could only freeze life into death.
The universe is truly capricious after all, the way magic manifests depends on the person. She wasn't meant to master learn the life aspect and so she became an Ice queen.
'She cherishes and wishes to control something meaningless.' I said to myself, contrasting her character.
She went back to meditating in peace and didn't bother to look at me any longer. I sat down, and started my own meditations; I felt inspired by her revolution of magic energy that I wanted to try something.
My black lotus released a bedeviling power in the form of a horned serpent, in my mind appeared an endless shadow plane of unending demons. To the center of the realm was a massive black dragon king.
The multifarious and multitudinous shadow demons paid homage to the circling Black Dragon King in the sky. A sudden fluctuate of sword intent appeared as the shadow plane was illuminated. The demons seemed to assemble into one terrifying devil as the sword intent possessed it.
A malevolent bedeviling intent embedded into its very existence, even I felt a little apprehensive. It looked at me in greed and jumped into the sky at me. I smiled as the void sword materialized in my hand. I projected released my Kirin Code onto it as shined with lightning runes and flew at the incoming demon.
"Spatial Slice." My sword cut through space, cutting at the demon and destroying it in a single slash. It became a shadowy ash, which started to regenerate.
The shadow demon reformed with even more malice in its existence.
"WAHHHHH." It screamed out in anger as it punched me with a multitude of fists.
"Sword Heart- First intention," I said as I channeled the principles of the Kirin sword code, a Kirin appeared behind me and struck out with a thunderclap!
The demon collapsed once again, this time it took longer for it to recover. The shadow returned to life, this time it had a sword in hand. The sword had a massive devouring power on it, as though it was blessed.
"You can use Magical Devour...." I said as I looked at the pitch black sword in its hand
"Kill!!!!" The shadow demon screamed out in an almost human dialect. Its face started to transform from being a demon to a more familiar face. It was the First King with a demonic body!
"Sword memories...." I said as I parried the sword attack and moved back. When I met the First King he sealed his incomplete sword code inside of me and this seems to be the result.
"My sword hasn't advanced enough it seems, this time I will my own new intent." I proclaimed Spatial Slice was just a technique I use not a true sword art like my three intentions.
"Feel my wrath!" I said as I released my shadow sword intent, my sword shimmered with black light.
I burst off my feet at flew at the shadow demon augmented with telekinesis. The shadow took a defensive stance hoping to protect itself, but my sword cut through its defenses. I cut into its chest and made it into 100 little pieces.
"Is that all?" I said in a cold voice as I watched the shadow regenerate, but this time it didn't stop at regenerating. It started to absorb the shadow essence around it to increase in size.
"Human boy, you freed me but I'll kill you for it." The shadow demon uttered in a strange language, but I had an innate understanding of it.
"Shade Script? So you were sealed in Cenir's primordial source?" I said as I coldly looked at the shadow demon.
The basis of bedevilment and this purgatory I created was on the Shadow of Providence as well as Cenir's primordial source. For this demon to appear here, it has to do with the source most likely.
"Those are matters that do not concern you, human." The shadow demon said with a sneer.
"Interesting so my sword memories awoke your consciousness." I analyzed as the demon was boasting
"Are you actually ignoring me?" The demon said in almost confusion
"I think you have something confused...." I said with a smile
"What?" The demon said as it felt something terrifying
"You do not have the qualifications to speak to me like that," I said as my sword intent soared.
"You are in my realm, and you are just my toy." I sad sneering at the demon's look of terror.
My arrogance cemented my insights into my sword, and my intent finally soared. All my accumulated insights exploded and 1%, 2%, 3%, and up to 16% in both my codes and One with the sword.
My shadow rapidly expanded as the black dragon king soared behind me fusing partially with my shadow. The dragon roared out a swirling vortex of devouring!
"Devil of Providence" I laughed as the power of bedevilment released into the black dragon making it a devil dragon. The vortex slammed into the demon as it devoured it slowly increasing my devil qi.
"What is that power?" The demon said in apprehension
"It does not concern your pitiful existence demon, I am the true devil king here." I said in a cold and arrogant tone as my techniques fused.
In my status underneath appeared Devilish sword intent! The host can now create shadow servants using the bedeviling power of Cenir's primordial source. I struck with my sword with incredible unmatched power, as the dragon followed with it.
It devoured at his huge shadowy essence, slowly eating away at it. I could feel my magic power replenish to an extent from the devouring. With more devouring, my devilish sword intent progressed and under the code appeared Devil's Gaze.
I accelerated my sword stabbing right into the center of the demon. Inside of it, the vortex tore through its principle essence, with this it wouldn't be able to resist me.
"Serpentine Armor." I coldly intoned as I reached out my other hand augmented with ouroboros sword intent reaching into its chest. I grabbed the core, which had been corrupted by the shadow energy becoming a strange devilish qi. I used the vortex to pull out the core, had I just kept fighting it would have been hard to find
"So this is your core hmmm...." I thought as I stared at it, it was based on my shadow force.
Shadow force as the base, bedevilment for power, and killing intent for form. Creating the truest form of devil qi in my body. The shadow essence quickly fell apart after I took out the core. I could see on the inside a face, it was demonic and angry.
But underneath the facade of anger was a deep fear of me. On the black lotus in my body, a leaf was imprinted with a massive two horned black demon with a multitude of blue lines along its body. The lotus leaf started to radiate intense devil qi all along it.
At this point, 4 leaves had been imprinted on since the start of my cultivation. A Kirin Leaf, my Ouroboros leaf, an Azure Great Tree leaf, and my Devil's leaf. I wondered what would happen when my lotus reached completion?
