102 Detonation
"What could you possibly mean demon?" Dante smirked as he fiddled with the blood red restriction in his hand.
"Oh, do you think you will be forgiven for working with a demon?" Asmodeus said as the serpent coiling on his body bit his shoulder. It seemed to channel poisonous flames into his body. Strangely his body seemed to recover, with his shoulder no longer bleeding out.
"We have never done such actions, we only act to protect our kingdom." Dante snickered out as he fiddled with the ancient restriction floating over his palm.
"Hmph, it doesn't matter now that I am here!" Asmodeus snorted as the serpent flew off his body at Dante.
"Arcane Sealing!" Dante yelled out as threw the restriction at the approaching serpent.
The serpent hissed out a mist of poisonous black gasses, as it flew at the restriction. When it reached the spell circle, the serpent was quickly absorbed into the restriction. The symbols on it became more profound, as it increased in size and Asmodeus' face paled.
"An incomplete Ancient Fey Restriction.....How did you get that?" Asmodeus said as his eyes flashed with an angry blood red light.
"No need for you to know." Dante laughed as sent the restriction out exploding. It was formed from the blood of special humans and augmented by the powers of Grand mages and Knights.
Asmodeus quickly moved to dodge, flying away at high speed. He shot various beams of energy and kept creating shields of demonic flames. But the restriction already had his energy signature and would stop at nothing to capture him. It was used by Ancient Elves to seal Ancient Fey beasts.
"ARGHHHHHHH!" Asmodeus yelled out as the restriction landed on his flesh. He was unable to dodge as it burst through his armor of black flames. The restriction landed on his chest and radiated a blood red light. Asmodeus' seemed to go into disarray as he flailed in pain.
Flying without any direction, he randomly fired out black energy beams in retaliation.
"DEATH! I PROMISE YOU DEATH!" He yelled out as he flew at Dante, Remmie, and Tiberius.
"Seal!" They yelled in unison as their energies ascended to the skies.
Asmodeus' body seemed to fluctuate between existence and destruction. Along his body appeared energy cracks, he was after a divine avatar. Asmodeus was a revered as the brother of Lodite. He was the first of Lodite's creations and the most powerful demon.
He was in a way close to the divine, and so his existence couldn't penetrate the mortal realm easily. Only through an avatar formed of his divine energy could he enter this plane.
"If his power gets out of control, then the natural laws will bind him!" Dante snickered as he watched Asmodeus wretch in pain.
Around Asmodeus appeared a strange phenomenon, it seemed as if a formless blue energy was penetrating the cracks. The cracks quickly healed but something about Asmodeus seemed to become mundane.
The mortal plane was the axis of all planes of existence. The world was dictated by natural law, and it had its own intentions and magical power. When an existence dares to use too much power, it will restrict them significantly.
Right now the world infused its energy into Asmodeus to restrict his power making him weaker. Asmodeus reluctantly accepted the energy, it made him weaker but it stopped the destruction of his avatar.
"Damn it!" Asmodeus said as he gritted his teeth, he had the power of a Divine Lord earlier. After fighting the king and taking his Aurora Sword, his power fell to early-stage legendary.
The power of combining the two paths was far more than he had expected. Then with the natural laws weakening him even more, he was only a half step legendary.
Though that doesn't seem like much of change, for a legendary it is a heaven, earth difference. As a true legendary he could disdain experts within the Grand stage. Now he had to take them seriously or else he could very well be destroyed!
"Tiberius, Remmie, The agreement still stands let us begin....." Dante said in a solemn voice, as his flame domain expanded out.
Next, to him, Remmie's domain of death seemed to fuse with the flame domain. Tiberius flipped his palm over and appeared in it was a bone sword. Along it was various wailing souls and demonic faces.
"Aura Ignition!" Tiberius said as a Shura blood battlefield appeared in the domain. The ground burned with bleeding demonic faces and bloody murder!
"This domain is nothing compared to his Majesty's Purgatory, where you will suffer for all of eternity!" Asmodeus said in vicious hatred as the restriction on his chest seemed to burn hotter.
"It doesn't matter, because you will die here!" Dante teased as he released a massive fireball. Remmie augmented that power using death, it seemed to become a flaming skeleton flying at Asmodeus.
"Such weak domains!" Asmodeus said indignantly as he released his own flame domain. It eclipsed the flame burning hell from before, it was as if Purgatory had truly descended.
"Natural law!" Dante screeched to the top of his lungs, around Asmodeus natural law descended. The flame domain shattered and the restriction on Asmodeus seemed to strengthen.
"NO...THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE! How can you manipulate natural law with this restriction....unless." Asmodeus said as the fireball hit him deep into the domain. He was unharmed but the flame armor he created was being eaten by the flames of the domain.
"How did you get that restriction, only the Ancient Dragon of Tempest had that..." Asmodeus snarled in an angry voice, he was reminded of matters from a long time ago.
When they came down with the other gods' troops to slay the Ancestor King. He participated in that battle and dealt with a restriction like this. He couldn't help but feel angry when he remembered that temple...
The hammered attacks while hiding in various parts of the domain. When Asmodeus would lash out, they would retreat from the domain. Coming and going as the pleased as they controlled the domain in unison.
Tiberius would slash at his back with his bone sword, leaving a vengeful intent that consumed Asmodeus' energy. Dante would distract him with flames, and Remmie would increase their attack power with his death domain.
"DEAD, YOU ARE ALL DEAD!" Asmodeus screamed out as he dispelled
"That's enough we need to finish him off quick!" Dante said as he coordinated with Remmie, they each got into position.
"Grand Art: Imperial Flames." Dante said as his domain flames became a deep gold color.
"Grand Art: Touch of Death." Remmie said as his domain seemed to create shadowy hands, they flew out from the ground attacking all moving figures.
"Grand Sword Art: Demonic Slayer." Tiberius declared as the bone sword seemed to come alive, along with its blood vessels appeared.
It fused with the right arm of Tiberius the shadow arms tapped the sword with death. It seemed to become even more lively and demonic, and then the golden flames fused with it augmenting it further.
"Die!" Tiberius yelled out as he flew at Asmodeus like a sword divinity. His slash seemed to transcend space-time as it generated a tempest.
The domain slowly fused with him as he approached Asmodeus. Asmodeus' body burned with intense flames, that consumed part of the domain. When he wanted to use more energy, natural law would constantly conflict with him.
Tiberius slashed down at Asmodeus, the sheer force slashed apart the flame armor. Then Asmodeus raised his arms in guard, but the sword cut through his body like butter. The demonic faces on the sword seemed to gnaw at Asmodeus' body making him fly back. The sword beam continued out with the domain, further harming Asmodeus.
"TIBERIUS LEAVE THE DOMAIN RIGHT NOW!" Dante yelled out in extreme anxiety. He felt that Asmodeus was gathering power for one final attack.
Tiberius responded quickly before he fled from Asmodeus. Then a huge amount serpent flew out from the ground where he stood. They were relentless and powerful since Tiberius was fleeing a serpent bit his hand clean off.
Tiberius had no reservations and he quickly fled without regard for that missing hand. He appeared outside the Domain when a huge amount of blood energy exploded out. It far surpassed anything that they have ever experienced, as if a primordial predator had finally awakened.
"Detonate the domain!" Dante yelled in anxiousness, he felt extreme panic at the moment.
Detonating a domain could harm the expert's path significantly, but the detonation could rival a legendary art. Remmie gritted his teeth, even though he was reluctant he detonated his domain along with Dante. The massive energy of the exploding blood hell flew out, sending all figures flying away.
A huge swath of land was utterly decimated in a single moment, it was the annihilations of 1000s of meters in all directions. No life survived was left in the vicinity of the explosion. Dante, Remmie, and Tiberius all flew battered and pale-faced, each of them paid a major price to fight the Demonic Serpent.
