42 Completion

A whole month had passed since I passed on the research paper, I was closing in on level 5 and Drrak was nearly complete with the analysis of my true qi. I was stocking books on the second floor when Brian approached me.

"My master told me to reward you for finding his paper," Brian said in an even tone as he hinted to something else

'So he bit, the question is are they going to give up anything else.'

"We would like to thank you for the help, and if in the future you need something. We will do our best to provide for you." Brian said

"No problem, I just found it I hope you will tell Remmie to stick to his job," I said as a probe, something felt wrong to me regarding Remmie and Tiberius.

They seemed to be doing something under the nose of the Kirin King. They also knew far too much ancient knowledge, like they received an account from a powerful existence. Everything was pointing to the demons, it's just a matter of how entrenched they are in the human kingdoms.

With this probe, I could glean some further knowledge regarding the demons, without taking any risks. Brian's face paled at my comment, he knew that Remmie was related to Joshua. But he didn't know how but saying Remmie a grand mage should stick to his job. Was a terrifying command, Lucas' importance even surpassed Remmie...Brian thought in fear.

He quietly transmitted 1300 sword marks to my medallion and left a small report of a few pages regarding the paper. He also put an authorization on the 3rd floor of the library. I read it and it included mathematical deductions, that adhered with my own. I then moved on to the other sections and they were all correct.

I felt reassured in my analysis. But the thing that interested me the most was the second paper, in a different font and with cryptic words. They glowed with firepower, like glyphs but I could not understand them.

'Drrak what is this?' I asked

'Infernal script, the words of the demons are inscribed on that paper. Only those with encounters or blessed by demons can write, read, or even see and hear it. But you are again a special case, the gods created racial distinctions. You are a shadowborn, a godless being unrestricted by racial distinctions.' Drrak replied

'Can you read it Drrak?' I asked hopefully

'Only bits and pieces, that part of my knowledge is mostly lost. It says splinter something, find the treasury, the dream formation's nodes are the keys. The rest I cannot read at all, as I do not remember.' Drrak said

'Spatial nodes?' I replied

'Possibly or a spatial node, I can't read everything.' Drrak said

'Well looks like I have another thing to do in the formation. Other than find the ancestor king's gift to his successor.' I thought to myself

'For that I require forces, and my own personal power needs to rise. Drrak what if we incorporated a spell circle into your analysis?' I said as my mind already started the deductions necessary.

'Wait that could work, but you'd have to design it and lay the spell circle.' Drrak said with an excited voice, this plan could help him as well.

'I have some incomplete ones that I designed, I'll just work on the final one before re-entering.' I said as I started to smile.

As I said so I went up to the platform for the third floor of the library. The distance was even larger between, the first floor and the second floor. But with my stats all over 40, I didn't have much of a problem. For most genius' that was their stats at peak level 8.

Adding my ever growing sword intent, and magical abilities, I had no fear fighting people up to mid inner reformation. Which was level 15, my physical prowess was improving at a higher and higher rate as I leveled up.

With my exercises becoming more diverse, I could improve perfectly and created a perfect foundation for outer reformation. My muscles had all been tempered like divine metal. Destroyed entirely, and rebuilt from scratch stronger than ever from the tempering.

I put all my muscle strength into my legs and did a vertical leap. Stats at 100 was Mach 1 in speed, the power to lift a car in strength, for flexibility that was the equivalent of being quadruple jointed, and in 100 endurance meant accelerated healing. With my stats at 40% of all those abilities, my leap was extremely easy as I reached the top.

I descended like an immortal entering the mundane world. My black and blonde hair accentuating my blue eyes that shined with sword intent, few people were around here. I didn't bother to look at them, but they focused on me.

Some of the looks were even suppressive on me, but the sword on my glabella shined with pure white sword intent. It cut through all the suppression and looks as I walked off to the bookshelves. I started my quiet search for books on spellcraft, I found a few larger books complete with deductions from the Arcanists.

People who had dedicated themselves to spellcraft. It was looked down upon and arcanists were seen as just mediocre potioneers and alchemists. I had a few notepads near me on a table with the book. I spent hours writing out deductions and scraping them. Going through hundreds and hundreds of sheets of paper to grasp more and more.

When I felt I understood the mathematics well enough, I added them to my previously incomplete spell circles. I wrote drew a few and went and checked out the book. Which was a whopping 100 sword marks, I could feel my heart bleed. I went home with the book and crumpled pieces of paper.

I drew a few spell circles on the ground around me. I channeled some magic power and true qi into the circles. The first exploded and the true qi just scattered. I went back to my paper and redid the math as I changed the approach. Only to get not an explosion but a dud, the energy would even flow in the spell circle.

I changed the spell circle again and lowered the energy I entered. I put in a minimal amount of magic power, as the spell circle darkened and pulsed with energy. I felt hopeful and happy as I looked at the spell circle. I turned back to my notepad and checked the math on this spell circle.

But when I turned back the spell circle had already decayed a lot. The true qi was flowing out faster and faster as the spell circle disappeared.

'Drrak what the hell, why can't the spell circle control the energy?' I asked with anger.

'The true qi and magic power don't compliment each other, they both try to create seeds which devour each other.' Drrak said

I sat in quiet contemplation as I thought about Drrak words. Then I examined my cells and noticed the fusing of magic power and sword intent.

'What about me why doesn't it affect me? What if I use true qi as the only seed?' I asked hopefully

'Maybe try it with only true qi.' Drrak said hesitantly

I reconstructed the spell circle on the ground but this time, I focused on the sword on my glabella. Slowly white sword intent seeped out from it forming a small white seed that radiated a sharp undying energy.

Then I focused on the black lotus in my heart, out of it came a black magic power, I guided it using my swirling white sword intent stopping it from becoming a seed. It wrapped around the seed as it moved into the spell circle. Black and white clashed in the spell circle like yin and yang. Then they reached a stasis point where they were both balanced.

My magic power was unable to consume the undying sword intent. Then I sent a stream of void energy from the spatial rift inside of me into the seed. The void energy engraved along the seed 3 deep purple lines, the balance remained the same but it created a node. A meeting place for my greatest powers in a spellcircle that could easily be branded.

I wrote down the spell circles design and mathematics. I observed the spellcircle and had Drrak look for any problems. I went to bed and woke up the next day to see the spell circle still in operation and with no issues. I smiled this was the master key, now to build the door for power I thought. I drew a less intricate spell circle that had a different purpose, it was related to the first spell circle.

They interacted with one another as I used my magic eyes. I sent the void energy from the first spell circle to the second one, also with the seed of my power. The spell circle remained normal but it had a bit of an imbalance. It was destined to fall apart, one day but it would work out for the most part.

'Drrak how long until this falls apart?' I asked

'2 1/2 years to 3 if nothing is done, but stopping it from falling apart is very unlikely.' Drrak said as he examined the spell circle.

'Then it is good as it is.' I said dismissively

I then cut my finger as it started to bleed out, I pulled up my shirt and traced the spell circle on my stomach. I then implanted the magic power until a balance was reached. I then guided the seed of power to the center of the spell circle, it disseminated like branches along my stomach creating a seal.

'I have the master key, now to grant power to the ones that asked for it.' I thought with a sinister grin.
