101 Aurora Sword

As the king battled with the demonic serpent in the sky, I just sat at the stage as people started to panic. The knights acted quickly as the untied with the mages and created a formation to guard the spectators. Among the spectators were top figures from other parts of the nation and noble family members.

"Carol, get up here now!" Carol looked into the stand when she saw her father Devin. He was a tall, stately man with a sword by his side and a charismatic demeanor.

"Daddy, give me a moment." She said as she looked back at the stage, she seemed to be strangely staring at me.

I was sitting on the stage in meditation, I had just made use of my magic power that I left in the spell circle. For a long time I had been scheming against the school, I was originally planning on selling the restriction design for benefits.

Then someone else could destroy it for my purposes. But with my refined control of magic power, and my eye of chaos. Destroying it was as simple as redirecting the energy of Aringer and the others. I looked over to my side, I felt Carol's eyes on me.

Her eyes seemed to sparkle with some strange longing. I couldn't help but smirk, what was she expecting? I looked into the sky as the king, continued his fight against the demon. He was slowing being forced back, the demon seemed to be toying with him.

'Come on, this can't be all the kingdom has prepared.' I thought as I stared at the King's crazy demeanor, he was fighting without any intention of living.

"Accept your judgment!" The demonic serpent hissed as it swung its tail in retaliation. Hitting the king straight into the ground with his flame dragon dissipating soon after.

The King laid in a crater burning with black flames when he vomited blood but he had an eerie smile on his face. On Shen's face burned elemental brandings, in this chaos, no one was focusing on Shen except Carol.

She seemed even more zealous when she saw the brandings on Shen's face.

"You are Lucas aren't you!" She mumbled as she looked at Shen's face enchanted.

A few in the stands looked over at Shen, they noticed the brandings and then a few mages looked terrified.

"Elemental brandings, he's an elemental mage as well as a knight!" A blue-robed mage yelled out in surprise as he looked at Shen.

The Flame Princess looked at Shen with the same confusion in mind, even Kallis seemed terrified and then realized something.

"I helped you twice, you really are Lucas." Sword King yelled out as he stared at Lucas dumbfounded.

"Looks like the Jig is up....." Shen said as he released his true form, his body grew taller. As an aura of evil and death came from his body.

The shadows seemed to capitulate and space bent around him. The violet robes he was wearing seemed to respond to his aura, they darkened as if they were being corrupted.

"You really are Lucas!" Carol said in excitement, call it admiring the strong. Or maybe it was just a strange desire of hers, but she felt something for Lucas.

"I think you made a mistake....." Lucas said as he grabbed the corner of his face with his hand

"What?" Sword king asked as he felt a terrifying premonition.

"I was never Lucas, that was merely a disguise." He snickered as he pulled across his face, a white mask seemed to be assembled on his face.

Then as if the white mask was an eye-opening, an eye of chaos appeared along it.

"I am the Lord of Shadows!" He uttered as his aura converged and the space in front of him shattered. From it, an eye of chaos appeared which released an immense power. The power entered Lucas, as his body acted as the conductor for that energy.

"Don't worry so much of that energy will destroy him." The blue-robed mage laughed out as he saw the energy increase. A few around him seemed to relax at that moment.

"Heh, don't be so quick to write me off." Lucas said in a gruff voice, as he concentrated the energy into a restriction in his hand. It started to expand with various lines intersecting and then becoming a morning star!

"Stop him, he's trying to summon something!" The blue-robed mage screamed out in fear.

"Too late become my offerings!" Lucas laughed as he planted the star on the ground, a few of the stronger people were able to run away. The weaker ones were instantly disintegrated and made into energy for the restriction. All of the people level 20 or lower especially among the younger generation died.

"AHhhhh" Jerome screamed as his legs became energy that was quickly devoured.

The spell circle generated ravenous serpents that would quickly hunt the survivors. It didn't take long until all the mortals were completely consumed. The screams of women, children, men, and the old echoed as their souls were quickly extracted.

"Stop him, he's with that demon." The blue-robed mage said to Walter near him.

"What are you smiling for?" Asmodeus said as his snake form condensed down to mortal form. He seemed to be a demonic young man with a serpents coiling on his body. He stood on top of the King's battered and bloodied form, he had even lost an arm fighting the demon.

"You weren't fast enough!" The king screamed as he used the last of his energy to blast fire that forced Asmodeus off him. Asmodeus quickly retreated as he saw the king's eyes become vertical slits.

"You.....how did you get that bloodline?" Asmodeus said as he took a step back in fear.

Along the king's battered body appeared white scales, they were filled with immense power. The powers inside the king's body seemed to capitulate to that power in moments.

"Demon, even with your strength; you cannot bully my kingdom." The king uttered in extreme anger, as a massive sword aura came from his body.

"Heretical! Truly heretical to dare fuse the knight and mage paths together!" Asmodeus yelled out as his body burned with stronger demonic flames.

"I will extinguish such a heretical kingdom!" Asmodeus said as he flew at the king like a black phoenix spreading its wings. The grass and air around him burned with demonic flames.

The king's eyes were filled with tranquil calmness, as a domain expanded around him. The world seemed to freeze as the domain expanded and the air cooled. He couldn't beat the demon with fire, so he would just use ice!

"Aura Ignition." The king screamed out as the world cried out in anger. Around him, it seemed as if the elements became crazed and started lashing out. He was using the strongest attacks of a knight and mage simultaneously.

"Legendary Art: Aurora Sword." The king declared and his sword intent from his bloodline fused with the domain. The domain rapidly expanded and froze the surrounding 1000 meters. The darkened sky seemed to light up with beautiful varying colors.

"Damn it, how are you able to use it so well?" Asmodeus yelled out as his demonic phoenix shattered from the domain's power. His eyes flashed with a blood light as he became his gigantic serpent form again. It seemed to cover the entire sky, but the aurora was combating its advance.

The aurora started to shine on the King, as it descended onto the sword at his side. He unsheathed it, it was a replica black sword like the First King's!

"Extinguish!" The king yelled as the aurora fused with the sword becoming a massive rainbow blade. The sword cut down at the demonic serpent, Asmodeus seemed to become excited as he flew at the sword head on.

"Die!" The king yelled out as the sword finally reached Asmodeus. The sky seemed to detonate and a massive explosion was sent out. It destroyed the entire domain even the Aurora couldn't handle the force.

It scattered off and in the sky was nothing but ash and smoke, the king's scales protected him from harm. Sadly, they didn't last long the king was sent flying and fell unconscious soon after.

The smoke and ash settled, the serpent was gone; but Asmodeus was still very much alive. His body was bloody and part of his shoulder was destroyed. He looked crazy and angry, but he was still very much alive.

"I've never been so humiliated, I swear that your kingdom will be ash or I will die!" Asmodeus yelled out as he released a beam of black energy at the king. The king's body was lying unconscious on the ground, but soon after space distorted and his body beam ethereal.

"Where do you think you are going?" Asmodeus yelled out, as the forces of heaven seemed to yell out with him! He burst out at the king full power when he felt his goosebumps on his body.

"Dante, do you dare betray me?" Asmodeus said as he looked over at the dream formation. Dante, Tiberius, and Remmie each flew up into the sky. They were in a formation and in Dante's palm was a blood red restriction circle
