103 -101- Apply medicine for you

Using Powder's specially crafted Hextech handcuffs, they restrained the Steel Shadow, and Linwin and Kai'Sa returned to Old Zoran.

Powder wanted to follow, shouting something about supervising them, but Vander stopped her with a punch to the head, and she went back, tears welling up but obedient. However, she had to go back to show off to Vi!

Not only did she see Linwin before Vi, but she also captured the most formidable spy from Piltover! Vi used to boast about being Zaun's top enforcer, right? Now, let's see who the top enforcer in Zaun really is — obviously, it's Powder!

On the way back to Zoran's shop, Linwin, under the lampposts, noticed Kai'Sa frowning, lips pursed in discontent.

Linwin patted Kai'Sa's shoulder, asking, "Are you injured?"

"No, she's not that powerful, just a bit sore," Kai'Sa said, annoyed.

Although dealing with Camille was easy for Kai'Sa, for various reasons, she felt a bit unhappy. The result was good, but throughout the process, Kai'Sa felt like she was played by Camille.

Taking revenge on Camille hurt her backside. Despite the protective shell, thinking about knives near her rear gave Kai'Sa a psychological shadow.

"If it weren't for protecting Zaun, someone like her, I could've dealt with in an instant," Kai'Sa muttered.

She wasn't bragging. Kai'Sa had indeed seen the cracks in Camille's blue shield caused by Vi's continuous gunfire. Although it quickly repaired itself, Kai'Sa was sure that Camille's shield had limitations.

If she unleashed all her firepower, launching thousands of Void energy blast at Camille, her magic shield and she would be melted instantly. While Kai'Sa could only perform such an attack once in a short time, she just wanted to convey that she wasn't bragging.

She could easily subdue Camille!

Don't treat her like a ball to be kicked.

"Well, thank you for your hard work, Kai'Sa. How about this? Tomorrow, I'll treat you to some delicious Zaun specialties. What do you think?"

"Specialties?" The previously upset Kai'Sa brightened up, turning her head to Linwin, asking, "What kind of specialties?"

"Spicy Acid Toad Legs. Vi really likes that stuff, although I've tried it several times and can't get used to it. But I think... you should be able to."

Linwin said, silently complaining in his heart.

After all, Kai'Sa, you're someone who can eat Coalveld Scorpion meat.

So, Spicy Toad Legs should be considered a delicacy for you, right?

Linwin thought mischievously.

That thing numbed the mouth, had a strange, soft and gooey texture, weirder than overcooked fish. The slimy secretion mixed with seasonings felt like eating concentrated nasal mucus with various flavors.

The ultimate dining experience was terrible.

Linwin had no idea how Vi managed to eat it. She even claimed that Linwin and Powder had no taste buds.

Now, he really wanted to know if Kai'Sa had such taste buds.

---

"Back already?"

"Yeah, by the way, any food?"

"That Vander didn't give you guys food?"

"A lot happened, no blame on Vander." Linwin smiled, pointing to Kai'Sa beside him. "I'm fine, not hungry, but I promised her to keep her well-fed. She had only biscuits and snacks in the afternoon."

Hearing this, Kai'Sa wanted to refute but couldn't find an excuse. She indeed had a big appetite because Kai'Sa easily got hungry. When her stomach rumbled, her skin would sting, feeling like needles piercing into her flesh, touching the bones. Kai'Sa didn't like that feeling. Eating wasn't just to satisfy her appetite but also to avoid physical discomfort.

Yeah, definitely not because I'm a gluttony!

"Even there's a lot to do, it's always important to eat well. Now that things are getting better for everyone, he thinks he's a big shot, doesn't he? How did we survive before? Eating biscuits? Snacks? Can those things fill your stomach?"

Kai'Sa lowered her head in silence, feeling like Zoran was indirectly saying her.

Is it because I eat too much?

The biscuits and snacks in the meeting room were all eaten by her alone.

But, but Linwin said it was edible!

"Don't say it anymore. I've said not to blame Vander. What's important now is food."

Linwin looked at Zoran and smiled.

Zoran, smoking his cigarette, heard Linwin say this, quietly cursed again, then stood up and loudly said, " Alright, ya stinky kid, you keep running out every day, and when you come back, you ask this old man to cook for you. Fine, you and Kai'Sa wait here. I'll go downstairs and see if there's anything to eat."

Zoran muttered a few more curses and went downstairs.

Although Linwin now called him an old man and he claimed to be old, Zoran's steps were fast and steady when he went downstairs.

Zoran's body was indeed very healthy.

After all, if Viktor could have the items that Linwin gave him, how could Zoran, one of Linwin's closest people, not have it?

His once white hair was now all black.

If conditions allowed, Linwin really wanted to get a bunch of mung beans and weave them into clothes for Zoran.

Outlaw - Limited Edition Mung Bean!

"Linwin, is it really okay for us to do this?"

After Zoran went downstairs, Kai'Sa and Linwin sat side by side.

"Hey Linwin, is this really okay?"

She reached out and pulled Linwin's sleeve, whispering, "Always troubling Zoran like this, won't he get angry?"

"Hahaha!" Linwin laughed heartily. He turned to Kai'Sa and said, "You're not familiar with that old man yet. That's how he is. Don't be fooled by his grumbling; he's actually in a good mood now."

"Really?"

"Of course, he's my dad. How could I not know what he's thinking?" Linwin said with a smile. "He's just that kind of guy – sharp-tongued but soft-hearted."

"Then I feel relieved."

Kai'Sa nodded.

When old Zoran brought up the food, Linwin happily went to help him.

"Now, this is all we have. You two make do for tonight, and tomorrow I'll go buy more supplies," Zoran said. He placed a bottle of juice in front of Kai'Sa and handed Linwin a bottle of wheat beer.

"You, running a merchandise shop, need to stock up?" Linwin teased Zoran.

"There's too little variety in the food – bread, water, and ingredients for noodles. I don't have things like vegetables." Zoran finished speaking, looked at Kai'Sa, and smiled, "If you're not full, there's bread downstairs. You can go get it yourself."

"Thank you." Kai'Sa nodded at Zoran.

Being cared for, especially by an elder, felt good. Kai'Sa liked this feeling.

"Don't be polite. Treat this place as your own home," Old Zoran looked at Linwin and said these words.

Linwin: "."

"Go, go, go, go to sleep quickly."

Zoran happily walked back to his room.

Linwin and Kai'Sa sat in the living room eating, still two bowls of steaming noodles, some dried beef, and a few sausages.

One sausage, one bowl of noodles, and the rest were for Kai'Sa to eat. Linwin ate half and, patting his stomach, looked at Kai'Sa.

Then Linwin furrowed his brow and said, "When I came back just now, I wanted to ask you, did you really not get hurt in the fight with Camille?"

"No, slurp, slurp." Sucking up noodles, Kai'Sa replied, "But she kicked me several times, and it hurts a bit."

"It could be swollen,? Don't worry; I often get injured, even worse than this." Kai'Sa said self-consciously, "I'll be fine in a couple of days."

Thinking about Camille's lethal legs, Linwin's mouth twitched.

Although Camille's legs definitely couldn't break his defense, the oppressive feeling was genuinely strong. As the future Queen of Piltover, Camille's aura was truly powerful.

That little old lady is not an easy person to deal with.

Looking at Kai'Sa, who was still sitting uneasily, Linwin asked, "Can the skin on your body disappear?"

"Why are you asking this?" Kai'Sa looked at Linwin with a puzzled expression, her purple eyes showing confusion. She continued, "Of course not; otherwise, who would want to walk on the street with such skin every day?"

"But a single part can temporarily disappear." Kai'Sa stretched out her arm to show Linwin, "I can squeeze the skin from one part to another, but not for too long."

Linwin looked down, and on Kai'Sa's slender arm, the purple skin was wriggling. It looked somewhat disgusting, but soon, the snow-white wrist was exposed—a sickly pale that hadn't seen the sun for a long time.

She said to Linwin, "Like this, but it'll go back on its own quickly."

Linwin nodded and said, "That's fine."

"What are you going to do?"

"I'll apply medicine for you, a Zaunite specialty." Linwin took out a bottle of specially made Shimmer, and the purple potion emitted a charming color. He then looked at Kai'Sa and said, "You were kicked by Camille there? Let me help you apply the medicine."

With a mouth full of noodles, Kai'Sa quickly raised her hands in front of Linwin, waving them incoherently, and loudly said:

"I don't need it!"

"I, I, I don't need you to help me with medicine!"

"I, I, I, I've already eaten enough. I'm going back to my room!"

"?"

Watching Kai'Sa run away, Linwin was puzzled, loudly saying, "What are you doing? If you don't need me to help you with the medicine, take it yourself."

"Whoosh!"

Swiftly running back to Linwin, Kai'Sa reached out and snatched the Shimmer.

Then,

"Bang!"

Kai'Sa ran back to her room and slammed the door shut.

Leaving Linwin in the living room with a face full of question marks: "???"

In Kai'Sa's room, she is currently sitting on a soft bed, silently staring at the purple potion in her hands.

Her face is filled with panic.

Applying the medicine is not allowed!

After all, although she appears to be a monster on the outside,

although she is strong and powerful.

Although she always adorns herself with indifference.

But, you know!

Kai'Sa,

She is also a girl.
