Looking at the crowds of people in the entrance hall, Laila let out a bored sigh.
"Estimating the number of people and the speed of the registration, I think we'll have to wait for around 30 minutes..." (Laila)

As I was about to take the headset...
"Hey! Can I join too?" (Rosaline)
We both turned our head to the source of sound, there a girl with vivid red hair and bright amber eyes is standing.
While I stared at her, Laila tilted her head
"Who are you?" (Laila)
"Eh? You don't know me?" (Rosaline)
While the red haired girl was left dumbfounded, another girl appeared behind her
"Rosaline!! what are you doing!" (Lapiz)
Quickly turning her gaze towards me she spoke
"I'm very sorry for my friend behavior Prince Rayford and Lady Laila, My name is Lapiz Aeqour and this is Rosaline Ignis, but... could you please indulge in her request? and can I also participate?" (Lapiz)
Seeing that they also seat in the VVIP area, her word are likely to be true.
Looking at the two children burning with competitiveness, Laila smiled and bring two more VR headset
"Sure, the more the better" (Laila)
"Yes!!" (Rosaline & Lapiz)
Seeing the group of children equipping the VR-headset, the attendant behind them started apologizing to both Mina and Anna in which the two respond with a wry smile.

Inside the virtual world...
"So which map are you going to pick?" (Ray)
Instead of answering Rayford, Laila ask Rosaline and Lapiz with a smile
"Which map do you two prefer?" (Laila)
"Uhhh..." (Rosaline)
Browsing the list of map, Rosaline turned to Lapiz for suggestion
"Hey Lapiz, which map do you like? I don't know much about the maps available" (Rosaline)
"I thought you often used VR to train" (Lapiz)
"I only used it to spawn and fight monster, because of that I don't know much about the maps" (Rosaline)
"If even you don't know, how am I supposed to know?" (Lapiz)
Seeing the two struggle on deciding a map, Laila decided to ask help
"If you don't know what to pick, how but choosing randomize map" (Laila)
"That's a good idea!" (Rosaline)
Saying so, a random map was selected. The map selected is called grass plane, which luckily was a basic map with no variable.
After a while the group got transported in the middle of the grass plane, Laila then told Rayford to explain the rules.
"Now I will explain how the match will be held" (Ray)'
After that Ray began to explain the rules, the rules are as follow:
1. The fight will be held in the form team battle.
2. No mind acceleration technique for Rayford and Laila.
3. Everyone mana will be fixed at <D+>
4. Artifact usage such as mana bomb, flashbang, poison, etc. are banned.
5. The team will be [Rayford & Laila] VS [Rosaline & Lapiz]
"Do you have any question?" (Ray)
Hearing this, Rosaline rise her hand.
"What do you mean by mind acceleration technique?" (Rosaline)
"That is a technique used to slow down our perception of time which effectively help us navigate more clearly in quick battle" (Ray)
"Basically we will perceive time at a slower rate" (Laila)
Hearing Ray and Laila's explanation the two girls tilted their head
"You could actually do that?" (Rosaline)
"Is that even possible?" (Lapiz)
"Its possible, but doing so might be a little unfair for you two, so we put a restriction on it" (Ray)
Hearing Rayford's words, both Rosaline voice out disagreement
"Do you think we are so weak that you need to put restriction on your selves?" (Rosaline)
"If you think I am wrong simply proof it, easy right?" (Ray)
Rayford spoke coldly, deep inside he was greatly annoyed that his sparring time with Laila was cut short. Because Laila allowed them to participate, he had no choice but to reluctantly agree.
noticing Rayford mind, Laila spoke with telepathy
-Ray don't instantly end them, they are daughters of two powerful dukes, making ally is the best move we have (Laila)
- …I understand, I'll try match them (Ray)
- Are you actually jealous? (Laila)
"..." (Ray)
Staring at Rayford's face she grinned, she could see that his earlobes turned slightly red, because of this Laila made a gentle smile.
"I'll make it up to you later okay" (Laila)
"..." (Ray)
Without saying anything, Rayford silently pickup a katana.
Laila just smiled at him then spoke to the two girls
"I'm sorry The Prince is in a slightly bad mood, so don't mind him too much" (Laila)
"Do you also think we are weak...? Are you also underestimating us?" (Lapiz)
Seeing both of them angered, Laila energetically spoke
"I am not underestimating you, If you hate Rayford's words that much prove him wrong and make him eat his word!" (Laila)
"That is a great Idea, I will destroy him and make him apologize!!" (Rosaline)
"Let's do this Rose!!" (Lapiz)
The two quickly choose their weapon.
Rosaline picked a sword while Lapiz picked a rapier.
"Are you both ready?" (Laila)

As soon as the match start, Rosaline ran full speed towards Rayford, while Lapiz move towards Laila.
With vivid red flame burning around her body, Rosaline brandish her sword with all her strength.
"Show me your strength Prince Rayford!!!" (Rosaline)
Watching the sword moving towards him, Rayford slightly touch his katana

At that moment, her body flew 20 meters backwards.
Although surprised, she quickly regain her balance mid air and landed on the ground. She turn her gaze towards Rayford that is leisurely standing without any sign of movement. His figure made her more confuse.
'what hit me?' (Rosaline)
Deciding to not think much about it she ran forward again. Unlike before, she cautiously analyze my body to detect any sudden movement.
Arriving infront of Rayford, she brandish her sword again.
Like before another clicking sound was heard

She was flung back wards again, unlike before she instantly regain her posture manage to shoot some attack midair.
[Basic Magic: <Fireball>]
In mid air she successfully construct and cast fire magic towards me with great accuracy. As I saw the incoming magic, I start to understand where her confident came, but.....
-Click!
Instantly all the fireballs disappeared.
Seeing all of her attack disappeared, she quickly cast the strongest magic she know.
[Intermediate Magic: <Fire Bomb>]
A giant ball of flame with abnormal size was created, at a glance the size was comparable to advance magic.
"Take this!" (Rosaline)
Looking at the giant mass of magic flying towards me, I silently gather a small amount of mana.
Touching my katana slightly, I quickly cut the mass of fire with perfect precision.

With the same clicking noise as before, the giant mass of flame disappeared like before.
"How!?" (Rosaline)
Seeing her getting confuse and agitated, I quietly spoke
"Your mana usage is very wasteful, because of that it's easy to destroy" (Ray)
"What do you mean wasteful? More importantly how are you blocking my attack!?" (Rosaline)
"I simply cut it" (Ray)
"You cut a intermediate magic with that little mana? Is that even possible? (Rosaline)
Recalling back on what happened, she only saw the magic disappearing. She didn't even realize the small mana Rayford used.
"I don't have any obligation to teach you, if you want to understand what happened review the sparring video" (Ray)
"Just tell me wha..." (Rosaline)

Seeing the mass of particle slowly disappearing, I turn my attention to Laila's fight.
