"Greetings, we haven't properly introduced ourselves. My name is Raul Evergreen. I am one of the summoned heroes from the Gwendal Kingdom. Nice to meet you."

"..... Name, Rukia. Summoned by the kingdom of Vermos. So did you lied to me?"

Oh, so Finns are summoned by the kingdom of Elalia.

"What are you talking about? I didn't lie. I am speaking the truth, even if you have a phone with you right now. We don't have a signal and I do not own a phone as it is not required in this world. There's something much more convenient than a phone. Your magic power."

".... Sigh* Have you seen my citizen around here?"

"Ah about that."

Rukia suddenly backed off from me and prepared her stance so that she wouldn't be attacked. She continues to stare at me. Meanwhile, I stare at her back with no knowledge what she is trying to do.

"What are you doing?"

"You're the culprit aren't you! You kidnapped all of the villagers surrounding the kingdom that I am protecting."

"Well, they are just going to be mindlessly killed by your king, I might as well bring them here where they could enjoy life without worrying about anything."

".... What is your true intention?"

"....Hmmm… To make the greatest and peaceful kingdom?"

"So have you seen the demon king around? I was told by the person that summoned me that the Gwendal Kingdom is conquered by the demon king."

Well, that's me, I might die if I were to say it though, so let's not risk it.

"That is just a made up lie as the holy alliance was angry at us for killing their priest."

A new voice emerges within the conversation that is quite familiar to me. As I turn around I saw Amanda, wearing her usual royal clothing while looking at Rukia showing her calm expression.

Now that I recall, three of my wife and myself are not fully recognized as husband and wife but what to expect if all of the priests belong to the holy alliance. Aka the enemy.

"The princess?"

"Not anymore, I am the queen of the kingdom of the awakening."

"A new kingdom? I never heard before."

"Yes, My father decided to surrender his throne to my dear husband."

Amanda slowly glances towards me and assured Rukia that I am Amanda husband. Rukia frowns while asking a question.

"You are a king huh?"

"She said it so."

"So why did you told me that you knew the person in charge of this hotel building?"

"Well, I hired him, so that why I know him personally."

".....Such a cunning guy. So are you going to give my people back to me?"

"Does Rukia not know what is happening between the two kingdoms?"

"What kind? I am always with Finn unless ordered by the person that summoned me."

Amanda facepalmed while sighing.

"What? You annoy me"

"Both of your kingdoms is preparing for war, either to join forces to attack the holy alliance or fight each other. Highly likely it's the later."

"HUH?"

"That is the reason why my dear decided to take away those innocent villagers that might be killed or worse get to threaten to join the war between the two kingdoms."

"Liar…."

"No, we are not."

"H-How did you know about it?"

"We have our own CIA!"

Amanda turn towards me while frowning as she never heard that word before.

"CIA? Wah so cool. Alright, I go back an check it out. If I found out that you are lying to me. You know what happens right?"

Rukia iris changes to red while a pure white ball that seems to be hotter than usual appeared at the palm of hers.

"Hey, at least go there in secret so you can sneak around and know the real reason rather than asking blindly, they won't give you an answer you know?"

"... Shut up."

Rukia flew herself out from my kingdom.

Oi, you are wearing a dress, have you forgotten about that?

As she flew out, her dress float up and everyone got the chance to see what underneath her dress.

Oh well, it's not my problem anymore.

"Dear, what's a CIA?"

"A typical term of Central Intelligence Agency. They solve crimes I guess? No, much I know other than from movies and drama that I watch from the television."

"That is a good name to replace the ones that we currently have. The observer is a boring name."

"Alright dear. I wonder how long will the citizen get here."

In any case, the hero that was being the troublesome being has gone away and nothing is broken by her except the door to the outside world. At least the illusion room manage to suppress my aura, I kind of have forgotten to retract them once again.

Rukia seems close to the other summoned hero named Finn, I wonder if they are the typical childhood friend. They are probably the unstoppable couple, if both of them wanted to, they could stop the war anyway. Hopefully, her boyfriend or husband is not the kind that wants war.

After only a day pass, the new citizen of mine has arrived. They look astounded upon seeing the massive buildings and how everything they have seen here is not something they have seen before. Children were jumping for joy as initially, they didn't believe the words of their parents when they are forced to walk away from their home but after seeing this, they couldn't but continue to praise their parents.

Meanwhile, the parents were showing a wry smile as they were being guilty of lying to their children but didn't think that their choice of moving away was the right thing. They knew for the fact that something wasn't right between the two kingdoms. The merchant and trader that usually energetic and love to hang out with them started to show depression and for some reason is forcing himself to smile so that these villagers won't know about it.

In a fine day, suddenly a person that they have never seen before approach them asking politely to meet up with the chief of the village. While they were discussing, their chief shout loud enough that everyone nearby heard about it.

"War!?"

One word. Only a word from the man, reveal the whole situation in front of us. That is probably the reason why the money that we get from selling our food is increasing while the rest of the price of our resources that are not edible decreases to a huge amount.

Even though it seems that we are gaining a huge amount of money from the trade. We are in fact being tricked as the current price of the food within the kingdom is ten times higher. Thus most of the families are worried about how are we going to survive through the years.

That is when the stranger steps in and introduce us that there is a new kingdom emerging from the shadows. It is called the kingdom of the awakening, and he told us that we do not have to worry about these three factors. Resources, Shelter and Finance. Simply said, we do not have to worry about being hungry, the king there will provide us with a roof above our heads and finally, the most important being is the finance.

Even though the offer is so tempting, we all know that something must be done in order to get all three of those. And the condition for it shocked us all.

"You all just need to re-announce that you will be serving under the citizen of the kingdom. Precisely the kingdom of the awakening."

We couldn't believe it but we still force ourselves to believe in hope for our survival thus when our chief decided to travel with the man. No one rejects the offer and immediately pack our things.

The man waits for everyone to pack their stuff for two whole days. He didn't even move and continue to stand the place until everyone is ready. Many of the villagers were creep by the man himself but they started to look the man up as an angel that is helping them up.

He might be the messenger that the gods that they have been praying to. Upon putting that idea inside their mind. They sped up their packing which remarkably allows them to be able to move over in just one and a half day.

Fortunate for us, we manage to get everyone inside the forest of death before Rukia the summoned hero from Vermos came to find us. She is probably trying to force us back to the village in which ultimately lead us to our death. Knowing that there are obstacles blocking our way, everyone forces themselves and push onwards.

The man that was leading us suddenly turn to speak to someone above the fog. After quite some time, he nods once and told us that we need to go on a longer route in order to avoid meeting with the summoned hero,

Lucky for us, the hero didn't think twice before heading towards the direction of the kingdom straight. Explosion after explosion is heard from the distance. Many villagers trembled and weren't able to sleep well but the man said that he could help us with it and suddenly a young woman came from the fog itself.

She personally goes from tent to tent to allow the villagers to sleep in peace. There were a few mischievous ones that wanted to sleep with her but the next morning they became extremely terrified of her.

'Oh well at least we reach here safely, that's when my son decided to comment on something.'

"Dad, what if all along we have been following a demon and the hero are going out of her ways to save us from our doom."

'....My son is right… We are too careless.'
