The guards started laughing even louder now. Miri was making a wry smile while saying good luck. It seems she isn't allowed to get inside the majesty hall. Upon entering a man was sitting on the throne looking straight at me.

I started to have butterflies in my stomach as I slowly walked while trying to calm myself down. There weren't any soldiers in the hallway. Altogether five people were standing at the end of the hall excluding the man that was sitting on the throne.

After reaching a certain point, I was told to stop. I stood there dumbfounded, it is so far from the king. How do I even talk appropriately with him? Is this a test? A way to strengthen my hearing and my visibility?

The man that is sitting on the throne appears to be mumbling some words, but I doubt he is referring to me, right? I can't even hear anything!
