66 Tayuki vs Crusader knight

Both of them immediately jump back out after the initial clash. Within second their feet touches the ground they jump back towards each other.

"Holy strike!!"

Upon saying the words, the sword immediately illuminates in bright lights.

"Aqua slash!"

Tayuki sword turns to liquid but the grass that that is beneath are cut to pieces. Upon contact, the crusader knight realizes that the sword won't be able to defend him and quickly activate his emergency barrier. The ring that is enchanted to protect it's bearer.

Everyone unconsciously stepped back as they didn't want to get splash by the water.

"I wonder how long your ring can last."

"Hmph! Long enough to defeat you scum!"

"Hahahaha, you are such an interesting puny being. Come at me!"

"You do not need to say anything, ARRRGRHHHH! HOLY BEAM!!"

The knight opens up his palm, a small light gradually gets stronger and bigger. Within two seconds the light stopped getting larger and got shot outwards toward Tayuki. The speed was tremendously fast enough that it generate sonic booms that push the other air creating a blast.

A few of the soldiers that position themselves too near to the battlefield fly away when they got hit by the blast.

"Ahhh!!!"

"Men stand back!"

The priest in turn just laughs at how weak the soldiers in arms is. He glances back to the demon in front of him but frowns as the demon are able to escape from the magic attack.

Obviously, Tayuki the demon that is present in every major battle out there has seen how powerful the magic is and he would be stupid to fight it on straight ahead. He immediately converts the ground to a liquid and dives into it without hesitation. If he is slow even a second. His head would have been disintegrated from the attack.

"Phew… Hahaha, you miss me!"

Tayuki that has his head popping out from the water started to provoke the priest.

"Why is he not using the sword that was given to him by the demon king?"

"Are you retarded? How could he easily replace the sword that has accompanied him for hundreds of years?"

"....Sigh* I don't understand, what are you babbling about. The sword is created purely to counter the holy element. What's the point of sending you all to your death."

Two of them continue to fight head on. After using most of his magic power, the knight body feels sluggish but the priest behind him kept replenishing him with strength. It allows him to keep on fighting.

"Kraunt do you think you can eliminate that priest?"

"I doubt so, he has that huge barrier...Kssss"

"Oh come on, can you please use the sword?"

"...I am an assassin, have you seen one with a huge ass sword? It would immediately reveal myself from afar."

"Oh my, you two are so stubborn."

"M-My sword…."

Sara and Kraunt turn to look at Tayuki. He looks as if he is going to cry, Tayuki keep on patting his sword as if it is going to recover.

"Stupid..."

Sara sighs to herself and drops down from the tree that they were hiding from.

"W-Who's there!?"

The general is hoping to find someone they know but upon seeing the person in front of him has huge wings behind her back. He told his men to use their own form of the barrier but it was too late.

Even for a short while, anyone that has eye contact with Sara got charmed. Within seconds, the soldiers started attacking each other.

"W-Why!"

"What why? You were the one that came to our territory and expects us to give you mercy?"

"Kuh…."

"If you want to live, kill that priest."

"....Men attacked that man!"

"ARE YOU STUPID!? YOU TRUST THAT DEMON, WE ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN SAVE YOU!"

The general just shrug his shoulder.

"How can you win with such small numbers?"

The priest is troubled, he doesn't mind about the soldiers that were charmed but those that aren't, he is unable to do anything. He immediately told the rest of the squad to kill each and every one of the soldiers.

Sara smiled in delight that she is able to buy them some time while she approaches Tayuki.

"Keep your sword and bring out the sword that the demon king has given to you."

"B-but it's the demon king sword, I do not want to use it just to fight against these puny little being."

"Huh? You could die if this continues, or do you want your sword to break into pieces before you regret it?"

"I-I get it..."

"Come on, let's end this fight already, I want to eat some delicious food."

"Nothing, come and go end that guy life already."

Tayuki, nod his head and equip the sword, he didn't think much of the sword until he pours his magic power into the sword. To his surprise, he gains a tremendous amount of power, at the same time, his fatigue disappeared.

"This is…."

"A sword design by the demon king himself and it is created to counter those with holy powers."

"Why didn't you say it sooner?"

"Huh? What's the point of me passing it to you before the fight starts then?"

Tayuki grins to himself and immediately sprint towards the group of crusader knight.

"I am back! Hahahaha."

"Tch, you had another sword with you huh. Doesn't matter, all of it crumbles at the strike of my sword!"

The crusader sword broke into pieces upon hitting the sword that Raul has created.

Both of them had a stunned face.

Tayuki, couldn't believe that he is holding such a powerful sword. He didn't even put much effort into swinging the sword, despite that he easily broke the holy sword that has even managed to crack his old sword.

"Y-You! Where did you get that sword!!"

"Who cares? You do not need to know."

"Grrrr!!"

Without any delay, Tayuki swung the sword and the knight easily split into two. Without him knowing, Tayuki was smiling as he manages to overcome his sadness over his old sword and being excited he jumps in the middle of the fight between the soldiers and the crusader knights.

Even within the holy barrier, Tayuki movement wasn't slow at all and he doesn't even feel any painful pressure that is bringing him down.

The priest wanted to get away as he knew that if he stays any longer, he will get killed.

"Hi."

"Hiiiii!!!!!!"

The head of the priest, drop to the ground first before his body slowly crumble down.

Kraunt looks at the sword that he had just use, he unconsciously smiles. This is the first time, he had managed to cut a priest head this easily. Usually, there is the barrier that would stop any kind of physical attack because of the sword that ignores the holy barrier, it passes through as if there isn't any barrier and kills the priest.

"And there you have it, an assassin with a huge ass sword."

"... Oh, shut up you… Ksssss..."

The soldiers stop fighting and look at the demons in front of them.

"M-Mercy…."

"Hahahaha come on, fight! Those that manage to get a hit on me will be able to walk out from this forest alive."

"I can wipe them out easily..."

"Wait!"

Kraunt and Tayuki turn to Sara while showing a weird expression.

"You are protecting them?"

"No…. Don't use the sword. It is only designed to kill those crusader knights. Unless you want your only sword to disintegrate to pieces."

"...."

Both of them immediately put the sword away.

"Hahahahha alright I take back my duel. Run little puny being. Hahahahaha."

The soldiers immediately break away from their formation and run for their lives. It didn't take long before each and every one of them are killed.

Sara sighs to relief as she finally is able to get back to eat the delicious food.

"Why are you guys following me?"

"I would like to thank the demon king personally"

"What about you?"

"....I want to meet with him."

"Fine, just don't make him angry alright? Well not sure if you could but Kraunt don't do anything stupid"

"I-I know..."

From the past history, Kraunt never fails to make each and every demon king hate him as the first time he meets one, he would want to duel with the demon king. Not sure what he is planning but Sara knew that it is purely because of Aria.

The pile of bodies is slowly either eaten or pulled towards their makeshift graveyard to create more skeleton monster.

The spirits continue to roam around the forest in order to check if there are any more humans that dare to go to the forest.

Sara was once again being left out as she needs to rest a couple of times before she is able to reach her destination. This is the disadvantages for her if there are no souls for her to regain her energy back. She would need to get inside one's dreams or make love with them in order to suck the soul out from them.
