79 Shopping Mall

"Greetings, fellow citizens of... Hm? Is something wrong?"

Amanda uses a hand sign to say that I should go to her. It may be something emergency.

"What is it dear?"

"My father has decided to hand over his throne to you, my dear. You can choose to take the default name or rename the kingdom."

Emelia uses her elbow to nudge me on my shoulder while grinning to herself. As if saying 'I told you so expression.'

I sighed to myself, honestly, I knew that something like this would happen sooner or later. The king has slowly thrown all of the work to his daughter, it is precisely the reason why I am unable to meet with Amanda that much.

I walked back up to the stage facing the crowds. In the meantime, my head is filled with all sorts of ideas for a name and why should I name my kingdom that way. I am bad at naming though, will she regret it if the name that I came out with would disappoint her.

"Cough* You all have waited long enough. Welcome! Citizens! The kingdom of awakening is glad that everyone has decided to join us."

Most of the people started to whisper to each other but I ignored and continue my speech.

"I believe, you guys have experienced the harsh living if you decided to start a new fresh while in a place that is not exactly friendly in a way. Well unless you have some overpowered humans that is helpful enough to assist you, that be great."

While I was making my speech I have enough time to find Sena and Takashi standing side by side. It seems Mike doesn't want to join us. I guess Takashi is alright unless Sena has a cunning plan that could ruin my life.

I nodded my head as I unconsciously had a direct eye contact with Sena herself. She nodded and smiled back at me. I continue my speech, introducing them about how things are going to happen from now on. Everyone is treated like a human being, basically means that no one would be treated unfairly and there are no such things as a slave.

I told them to split into groups of fifty people which accompanies by a maid. As if Aria knew that something like this would happen, she already on standby. I was about to talk to her about the things that I am planning, she already nodded her head by saying 'Got it.'

It would take too long for me to guide everyone to each location thus, I describe the location that they are going to be living and through the registration that they have done previously. Aria has placed them in their respective houses. I am surprised that she has such convenient magic, something like a map that she could access within her mind and from there she is able to organize everything without any single error.

As discussed previously with Aria, I decided to create an abundance of taverns for those that are currently single with no one to depend on and a simple five-room house for those that registered together as a family. Well, I could immediately make more house to appear if there are any problems in the future. The only problems are to find a way to not have my magic being expose while we are inside the illusion room.

For their food resources I mix both the food that I create using my magic power and the ones that had grown out from the seeds. They aren't going out from the illusion room anyway hence it is of no issue directed to my conscious. At the same time, they be eating food that could allow them to survive out in the real world.

Furthermore, food is one of the most important energy and motivation for anyone to be able to work harder. Knowing that they be in charge of planting the seeds that could make up of delicious food, the new citizen of my very own kingdom couldn't wait to contribute.

Shelter, hunger and last but not least, they do not need to worry about any financial problems at all. Everything is settled for them, all they have to do is to work for eight hours in which really gave a shock of their lives.

Pondering for a while, if things end up like this sooner or later. I should have brought everyone within the Gwendal kingdom previously. Now I felt guilty for leaving them out from the picture while I keep on giving myself stupid excuses.

The day that they are given a chance to contribute, even before the work starts. People are already standing waiting to be given instruction one hour before the normal working hour starts. It seems either they are not used to seeing a clock that depicts the time or they are too excited to work.

The people that are in charge of guiding are surprised by the new citizen to give them work to do. I split the manual labor equally, all of the adult men are tasked to plant the seeds and plow the fields while the women are tasked to pluck the fruits and vegetables that have fully grown.

Due to the massive amount of people that decided to join the kingdom, I was forced to expand the illusion room to the extent that even I can't see the end of the room. At least none of the people are suspicious about the place that they are going to be living in starting onwards.

I doubt the motivation would last long so I would need to give them more things so that their life is fulfilling enough. Thus I introduce everyone, even the people that have been working with me all these while. It also applies to the maids and people that are taking care of the outside world.

Once a week, everyone has a chance to apply for a leave. Possibly to allow them to have the chance to enjoy, go shopping. Oh wait, I still haven't created such things. Anyway so that they could spend time with their children and wives.

But it will only apply to the new citizen if everything is fine. We do want to avoid any problems that may arise when there are too many people taking off. I went and create numerous buildings and shops, secretly of course. I also create machines that will accept the gold coins so that I do not have to hire any people to take care of the shops that the citizen is going to go. Upon payment of the chosen clothes or things that they want to buy. They could then bring the item out, anyone that tried or decided to steal the item will be given a yellow card and would not be allowed to have the chance to eat any of the delicious food for three whole days.

They could try to appeal and I will check the CCTV and if they are found to not be guilty, everything will be fine. If anyone were to collect a total of 9 yellow cards the last one would be a red card in which they would be kicked out from the illusion room and have everything they owned be snatched away from them. It doesn't matter whether they have family or not, everyone has their own responsibility it doesn't affect anyone else.

This is not the stupid phrase 'One for all, all for one.' Everyone is unique in their own ways, nobody will be forced to do anything that they do not want. The male is also given a choice whether they would want to join the army or not. Of course, there will be more beneficial.

I started to rewards those that are working a specific amount of gold and the different job will have a different amount of it. This is not communism afterall. After two weeks has passed since the time where they joined the kingdom. I open the door of enjoyment for them. The shopping mall of course.

The previous week, the maids have given me their support and praise me for the things that I have done. At the same time, they finally have the leisure to rest and the chance to enjoy. Each of them knows the procedure and they are used to using the computer. The keyboard is complicated though, it is not the language of mine, with the help of Amanda I manually customize the keyboard.

For some reason, the maids around me started to be able to look at me in the eye. They are not afraid of me anymore? This is somehow or another great but Emelia, Aria, and surprising Amanda started to stick close to me wherever we go while Shana awaits behind me at around 5 meters because she would be glared at by Emelia if she were to come close.

Normally I would have told them about how I won't take in any more women but experience told me that I shouldn't say something. Oh well, I feel blessed either way. Sena and Takashi also don't seem to create any troubles and they seem happy together except the part where she would glare at any women that tried to make a pass at Takashi.

A dangerous fellow indeed.
