"You didn't even answer my question earlier."

"Ahem… Anyway! Don't destroy anything inside this illusion room. Did you forget that all these things are from my desire?"

I sigh and immediately change it to a new monitor at the same time, I brought the dining table inside so that she could have a taste of the food at the same time. Her expression…

I wondered how she manages to get to be the chief out of all the maids. In the first place, how did she manage to bypass the hiring phrase at all? After she had eaten quite a bit of food, she stops herself. It is a surprise as the other two demons that I had met tried to finish all the food.

They seem to be poor unlike Aria, or it is mainly since they thought the food would result in wastage? After she was done with eating, I decided to get out of the room. She followed without saying anything. Now she seems more like a noble woman.

I tried to bring the monitor with me, but as you can read, it broke and disintegrated completely. Hmm, now I know that anything I desire while I am inside the illusion room can't be brought outside. Even if the item may appear to exist inside the world that I am currently in.

Aria didn't even give me any comment about the destruction that happens right in front of me. She gave me a bow and walked away. Hey, aren't you supposed to tell me that you are dismissing yourself?

She doesn't seem to respect me at all. Wait… Isn't this what I want it to happen previously? I certainty didn't want the maids that serving me to be that formal but now that one happens to do it I feel annoyed about it? Sigh* What's wrong with me?

Fortunately, I happen to remember where I am currently and easily get to the location that I wanted. The guest rooms. After locking, I started to sit and think about the things that I haven't done.

First, I haven't yet to visit any of the church. In which I decided to choose the Goddess of Mischief – Walentyna. I wonder if there's one to visit. She is worshipped by the monsters thus she is probably hated the most. I wonder why did all the races abandon her? The races can't choose more than two, or they didn't like the word mischief. No matter, I do not know how she got her name.

Second would be my marriage… Stress thinking about this, alright never mind postpone this for now.

Next would be my existence in this world. If I really ought to become the demon king. Why does my physical and magical resistance to be extremely poor? I wonder what goes to Sabella mind when she decided to transfer me over… Wait, she is the goddess of Rebirth, isn't that means I am dead in my previous world?

This is not transmigration then?

This is so confusing. I should also visit her church when I got the time. Do I even have the capability to question the gods?

Fourth would be the ability to read. This is the main problem that I am facing, there are signs in this huge building. It's supposed to help me get around but…

Is that the reason why Eliza and the rest didn't follow me when I visit the building for the first time?

The fifth goal is simple, increase my chances of surviving. If Sara or any of the demon to come by and throw their temper around, I could at least survive. It is by chance that I survive from her throw. One of the bushes cushion my fall, my back still hurts though.

I believe she is one of the weaker demons though, now if any other demon… Heck, even human or other races decided to kill me, I would not even last a second or two.

The sixth and my new-found goal is the existence of technology. Aria has told me that she saw it somewhere and believe to be dangerous equipment. I believe her but for now, finding the equipment would force me to go on a long journey, I doubt I could survive when I step my foot out from this kingdom.

Everyone would point at me and call me a demon. I could just mention that there's another goal, but I decided to give up as I do not have any talent at all. The goal is to control my magic power so that no one would fear me.

As of now, I am thinking of asking Amanda to enchant one of the bracelets that I'll be making to devour my magic power thus making me harmless to the rest.

Now that I have settled most of the things, there's a big question I was waiting to ask Aria.

Where the hell is the other maids!?

I believe the invasion is over as soon as Amanda decided to call me "dear." They should have reached here by, now right?

There's a sudden knock on the door, without waiting for my answer someone decided to try to open the door.

… What's the point of knocking if you are going to open it anyway. Luckily I lock…

"… What are you doing Aria?"

"I thought master went missing."

"What are you talking about? Don't you have something to talk about before telling me something weird?"

I stare at her and the freaking door that is already laying flat on the ground. Aria just nodded her head and put the door back to where it was. In a split of a second, there is a light coming out from her finger and voala!

The door is fixed… Aria turns her head and stares at me.

"...….. Master disappeared from the room."

"Well of course, why would I stay there when you went out from the room yourself?"

"I was going to prepare dinner for you master."

"How am I going to understand when you didn't mention anything about it? You just give me a bow, and you think I understood it?"

As we were about to reach the destination, Aria decided to tell me something…

"The rest of the maids are already back from this morning. They are currently kneeling outside the door waiting for you to greet them."

"Oh… WHAT? And you decide to tell me now!?"

I was about to run towards the front door, but I was forced to stop. Damn, I forgot she is a demon… Strong is not the word to describe anymore…

I feel like I am stuck in a wall, I can't even move.

"Master… Food."

"Are you serious?"

"… Tell you what, bring the food to the front door, and I will eat there alright?"

After such an exaggerating nod done by me, Aria finally gave in, after giving me a slight bow she walked off.

Geez…

I shouldn't waste any more time. Those maids are suffering because of me.
