89 Open the gate!

I guess luck has run out from me as there isn't any fruitful event even though we had finally come out from the forest of death. Aria even broke the news that they are arriving at the demon kingdom in approximately one day of travel.

In total, Amanda voluntary created the illusion room three times within the journey and she didn't seem angry about it as she manages to recover back her magic power every time she opens up the room. She totally forgot about the fact that the room increases the recovery of her magic power by a tremendous amount thus even though the disadvantages within the illusion room is heavy as it the time move relatively faster than the outside world.

At the same time, she managed to have Raul as her own as she is able to force the other two ladies to back down as she believes without her, they aren't able to get inside to their hot bath or even the fact that they are able to sleep in their luxurious and enormous bed within their house.

It is a shame that I am personally being taken advantage off by her, well voluntarily, if it is up to me I don't mind staying out in the open world though as all of the things required is out here in the carriage and most importantly the carriage will block any mosquito from coming in and disturbing his sleep.

Emelia and Aria couldn't do anything much, they aren't losing too much from the battle as they fully utilized the time spent with me when we are out from the illusion room. Sure it is uncomfortable doing it within the carriage but hey it's better than never. No, it's not my opinion, it's them. I'm telling you. Please believe me.

"Master, we are about to reach our destination. I suggest allowing Amanda to create her illusion room here and we should go somewhere else instead."

"Aria, I've been wanting to ask you. Why do you hate the demon kingdom, technically your own race?"

"No comment….. Apology master, please give me time to think about how to answer to that question."

"Hmm, memories of serving the other demon king in previous decades?"

"Come on dear, give her time. Now I too believe that I should create the illusion room here so that we can go somewhere much more beautiful and have started out real adventure then!"

"Yeah without this undead that is constantly following us from the beginning."

"Ladies, I believe I would need to meet up with them. Technically, I failed to be the supposed demon king that should lead them to conquer the world!! OUCH!"

"Dear… What are you babbling about."

"Ehhh… A-Amanda... You were the one that strikes me on the head?"

"Who else?"

"I-I was expecting Emelia to do it."

"Oh come on!."

"M-My bad. I just didn't expect you know. Anyway, that is part of the reason why I am here isn't? Partly the reason why all of you are here because of the fact I am unable to stop the leaking of my magic power towards the rest of the surrounding."

"Yes master, the surrounding will be taken over by your aura, master. And all of the greenery will die off and disappear in becoming ashes."

"Ermm can you not be too exaggerating?"

"Master….Please look into my eyes, I am not telling any lies. Your aura is getting stronger day by day. There might be a time where you are able to pressure Rukia down just simply be near her."

"Oh, I know! Hey love, why don't me and Amanda stay inside the carriage while you and Aria go over to the kingdom and tame them?"

Aria immediately frowns as she already voices our her opinion of going towards the demon kingdom.

"I go alone?"

"No!!" x3

"Ehh…. But nobody wants to come over and help me out."

"Fine… Let's go alright? Oh my, my love is sulking. Come on, here, here, let me comfort you."

"....Can you let me go now? Sigh* Alright let's go!"

"Y-You used me!"

"Ah well… I dare not."

Sounds of sigh being heard from all four of them.

At the same time, they finally arrive right on the gate of the demon kingdom.

"Halt!"

The guards wearing various kinds of armor stop them from getting any closer. In just a glance I could sense that something is wrong. There aren't any demon that came out or trying to come into this side of the gate.

Which basically means that no demon even want to venture out from this side of the gate. At the same time, the huge amount of demon guards protecting this side of the wall clearly shows how much hatred and how cautious they were towards the humankind.

As Aria slowly goes out from the carriage, she immediately turns off her disguise and revealed her true identity to others. Gasp* were heard as the guards didn't expect the one being to appear and most importantly coming from this side of the location.

Furthermore, it is the one and only being that no one from the demon kingdom could rival to. It's the great demon Aria herself. But seconds later their killing intention rose as they immediately turned towards the puny human being that stood close beside the women that they admired the most.

The captain of the guard knows that an accident may happen if he is too careless and immediately stop any of his guards to take any kind of actions. He believes that Aria has her own way of doing things. As its been years since they had seen her personally within the demon kingdom much less herself appearing right in front of him.

"Great demon Aria! Welcome back! May I know what is your intention in bringing the human….humans here?"

The captain quickly change his words as he saw two more humans coming out from the carriage.

"He is here to negotiate something with the lot of you."

"Negotiate?"

"We don't need anything! Tell him to f*ck off before…..HIIIII…."

"IDIOT!! You are suspended from your duties for three whole days! Go suffer somewhere else."

"N-No captain please no!!"

"I am already giving you mercy for talking bad about our guest."

Meanwhile

The captain himself has sweats endlessly pouring out from his back as he is hoping that Aria wouldn't just mindlessly slaughter everyone here. He blames himself for not telling the rest of his team to be careful of their words when Aria is here.

In fact, he just forgot about it as he didn't think Aria would just come back. He fairly knows about the fact that Aria favors the humans other than the demon. He is not too sure about the reason why but it must be the fact that every time a demon king is reborn, it is a human being.

Hence, he got the feeling that the man standing beside Aria is, in fact, their newly summoned demon king.

Back to the present~

The captain slowly turns towards Aria and he is not hoping anything much. He believes that he might die instantly and not being tortured as he did what he could in this situation. Contrary to his belief, Aria continues to smile while waiting for the drama to end while the man beside her was holding his stomach while trying hard not to laugh.

As he stares dumbfoundedly at the situation at hand, he unconsciously mutters.

"Are you really Aria?"

Unexpectedly Aria simply reply.

"Do you want to try me?"

"NOO!! PLEASE DON'T! FORGIVE ME!"

The rest of the guards under him didn't know what to do as they superior the captain looks like he is on the verge of death while speaking towards the fragile looking lady. If it is based on instinct, they would rather attack these unknown beings, as they are bringing an army of undead over.

They already know that human sometimes delves into necromancy and is able to summon and control a respectable amount of undead to protect them by their side. Unfortunately and fortunately, they didn't know about the eight great demons other than their names and race. As the name Aria trigger them, seeing her with a human by her side is simply unbelievable if they are told that the strongest demon is having a relationship with a human being.

In fact, most of the demon doesn't know that every demon king that gives them power and at the same time lead them to victory is a human being. The elders and the great demon decided to tell the rest of the demon about this news so that there would not be any betrayal towards the demon king himself.

You never know what to expect that their very own enemy is their leader, some demon will not even be able to accept the truth and might raise their hand against the demon king himself.

"OPEN THE GATE! LET THEM IN!"

The captain didn't want any of his guards to make any more mistake and quickly told them to let Aria and her companion in. While the guards beside him are thinking that he let them in because he doesn't want to continue to embarrass himself.

"Master we can proceed onwards."

"...Aria, I wonder what did you do to make the demon there scared out of its wits."

"M-Master…. Please don't embarrass, me, I promise, to tell you alright?"

"My bad… "

"I can picture it though."

"Emelia..."

"What you want to fight?"

Emelia provoked Aria as she already can picture how much deadly this woman in front of her is. Only two types of expression will be shown to someone that is the most powerful, either happiness or fear.

"Haha, love will slowly know about you."

Aria frown as she felt threaten over the fact that if Raul knows about her history.
