51 Date of my first wedding

Eliza, the second princess of the Gwendal kingdom, is standing before me. She has that hopeless expression as if something had disappeared from her life. If I were to guess, it's probably about how her sister is getting married to me. Hopefully, she finds someone to spend her life with other than me.

It is troublesome if she somehow gets to be inside my one-sided harem.

"Welcome back home, brother in law."

"Thanks. Did something urgent pops up that requires you to escort me in?"

"Nothing that important, it's just that I don't think I am able to calm myself down if I were to see you guys meet with each other."

I forgot about my last meet up with Amanda. It was unpleasant. Furthermore, after I think back on it. Amanda sadness probably overwhelms her. She still proceeds to wait for me to go out of the illusion room before she cries her heart out.

I slowly walked inside the palace, and there I could see Amanda standing near fountain staring at it with her indifferent emotions. As I turned back, I could see Emelia looking at me while frowning meanwhile Shana are waving at me excitedly. Shana true character is revealed much faster than I expected. It's understandable that when you are a maid working inside the palace, you tend to be more careful with what you do and say. Any mistake will cost you your life.

I unexpectedly step on a branch, and it breaks into two. Resulting Amanda to notice my presence. Upon seeing me, her indifferent expression took a turn. She has that genuine smile where even though she knows she has little to no hope for getting any returns for her feelings.

"Welcome back dear."

"I-I'm home."

Amanda nodded her head and stepped forward and give me her strongest hug. I got taken aback, even though she looks fragile my strength and endurance would lose to her. I started to feel that my chest is wet, when I glance down, I sees Amanda pouring her tears out while shutting her eyes tightly.

Words won't come out of my mouth. I am speechless. I also stop myself from sighing as she may understand my intentions. I bend my head down as she is a bit shorter than me. As I lay my head on her head, I feel that her tears suddenly get worse.

"Is something bothering you?"

"Sob* Hick* I-I, I just felt happy. Too happy, I didn't think that you will truly accept me. I was expecting you to either push or ignore me."

"Come on, you know me better than that. I already told you earlier that I will love you. Not sure if it will going to take sooner or longer but I can tell you that I am going to accept you no matter what happens. You and Anderson would need to meet up after we get married. Amanda face flushed in red as she slowly releases her hands from my body. She turns around while putting both of her hands behind her back. She started walking towards the palace.

I follow her along slowly from behind. Without my knowledge, I was unconsciously smiling while looking at Amanda. I touch my mouth that is still smiling widely. It is sooner than I thought.

The maids surrounding are bowing as we slowly walked towards the throne. I had already caught up with Amanda pace and walked along side by side with her. She looks like a kid that had to receive the latest gaming console as her birthday present.

Upon walking near the king, both of us stop and propose to him, well the action that I am doing is like that. Putting one knee down on the floor while the other is your foot.

"Raise your head."

Both of us take our time, standing up while he waits.

"Congratulations, Raul and Amanda. As your father, I am proud that you are able to find a husband that truly accept you the way you are."

"Yes, I am grateful with the way things are happening. I truly think that I have made the correct decision."

"Raul."

"Hmm? Hahaha, promise me you will take care and protect her with your life."

Amanda tilts her head down to avoid showing her embarrassment face to the public. Eliza, Fennis (Fennis is the prince of the Gwendal Kingdom if you have already forgotten about him.), the royal guards and finally the maids that is smiling at Amanda while trying their best to avoid having eye contact from me.

"I have decided to bring forward your wedding day as my daughter had created troubles with the nobles."

"F-Father! Why did you decide to say this out loud?"

I know it is not the feeling of lust but the feeling of acceptance of her as my wife.

I suddenly feel someone is holding my hand. I turn around to see Amanda showing her determination while giving me her best smile.
