37 Crucial meeting

"Master, my side is completed!"

"Wait I need more time."

"S-Such delicate work for your staircase master!"

I got up and slowly back away from the art that taken us probably two days to get it done. Looking at it from afar, I got dazzled by our creation. I pat Shana head as I am truly proud of what we had done.

The castle that we have made without any planning looks gorgeous. There were a few, if not most of the delicate work is done using my desire. Cough* I did put some hard work alright?

"I am proud of you Shana!"

"T-Thank you, master! I didn't think Master put up with my childishness and help me to build a sandcastle."

"You are wrong Shana. It's ART!"

A familiar voice was heard from the distance.

"Ah yes, Princess Amanda has made a magic circle especially to hide master powers. Do you have anything to report Kiri?"

"The prince decided to go to the western border with his guards. The prince didn't want me to be in danger. Thus he told me to accompany you guys."

"M-Master, the prince is one of the greatest swordsmen, he rivals general Anderson regarding strength."

Woah, that's unexpected. I thought he is just one of the extra characters in the story. I didn't even know his name…

"I was told to bring your breakfast along."

" Yes, three days have passed since you hide inside this room."

"N-No, there' should be a mistake. If that's the case, we were starving for three whole days?"

"But master, I don't feel any hunger at all."

"Now that you mention… I don't even feel tired at all."

Is that the reason why I felt so energetic? I felt like I could do anything in this room. Now let's see if I can make it comfortable enough for Kiri. In an instant, a house appeared in front of us.

Upon getting in the house, it's as if there's a barrier that blocks all the sand that was sticking on our body and clothes. We came in sparkling clean.

"Hahaha this is so cool master"

Shana already comes inside the house without being surprised while Kiri look to have her wide mouth open. Hope she won't drop the food. Shana continues being playful grab some sand from outside and trying to throw it inside. Playing and giggling to herself she seems to have forgotten about Kiri that brought food for her.

"Senior is like a kid…."

She didn't think that Shana has this side of her where she is very playful.

"Come on in. What are you doing outside Kiri? I would like to have some meal now. Shana stops playing you can continue it later."

"M-Master… Y-Yes okay. Kiri."

Shana suddenly glances at Kiri. Kiri immediately bows to her.

"I-I won't tell anyone!"

Did Shana forgot about Kiri and shown her something she shouldn't have seen?

"By the way is it save outside?"

"Princess Amanda has created various magic circles in the vicinity. It will automatically destroy any demon that is detected except you, Sir Raul."

"I assume I could be targeted by her creation. In any case, I guess it's time for us to go out and take a look?"

"M-Master!"

Shana no matter how much you look at me with that cute eyes, we still need to go out and have some fresh air. It's unhealthy as to how we didn't even sleep for three whole days. Is this the reason why Amanda always look sleepy in the real world?

After having our breakfast, Kiri escorted us out of the room. Upon stepping outside, we were hit by the drowsy spell. It took out most of my strength just to keep me awake. I immediately went to a bed to have a rest. Hoping it should not take long.

Upon opening my eyes, I saw Shana sleeping face. She seems to enjoy her rest as well while talking in her sleep.

"Master this is so fuuuunnnn…."

Looking down, Shana seems to have thought that my leg is a pillow. She uses her leg to grab hold of it very tightly never letting it go. I can't escape huh. Huh? Kiri was looking directly at me. Her eyes were darting back and forth and both me and Shana.

Her face seems to be bright red while her mouth seems to be opening and closing without any sign of stopping. I stare at her till she realizes, I was hoping she would help me to push Shana leg away so that I could get up but instead she immediately bows and runs away while screaming.

"PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!!!"

Sounds of a door being slam shut*

Sigh* What am I going to do with you…

At the same time, Shana appears to be awake.

"Hmmm, Master… Good morning."

"Good morning Shana, did you sleep well?"

"Yes! I had a great dream about you master."

"Oh, now you got me curious, what's it about?"

Unconsciously I got closer to her.

"Master saved me while I was attacked by some monster and gave me a lot of food and, and, and......…."

"What's wrong Shana?"

Shana seems to realize that it is not a dream anymore. She pinches herself and she felt pain, it's her turn to have her eyes shifting all around. She even saw how her legs were gripping on my leg. Her face was starting to change to bright red.

Shana slowly releases her grip and stood up from the bed, she turns to me and slowly bows.

"Good morning Master, have you had your breakfast yet?"

"Hmm, my leg is sore…"

"Ekk… Master, did something happen?"

"Yeah, my lovely slave gripped my leg as if she didn't want to let go of me."

"Ergh…"

"My…My, my lovely slave is crying?"

"N-No I am not."

"There, there. Come I will save you from the monster that made you cry."

"M-M-Master…. You bully!"

While crying she kept on hitting me. At least she doesn't use her full strength. I might die.

After a few minutes of calming her down. Shana manages to return to her usual self and ask me something important.

"Master… How did we end up sleeping together?"

"Did you remember the part where Kiri escort us out from the room?"

"Yes…!!! T-Then she was the one that…!!"

"I am not too sure…. Shana!? Where are you going?"

"I'll be back master, with your breakfast!"

Sounds of the door being slam shut*

I pity the door, why can't they at least be kind with it? Hope Kiri had some good excuse for her to tell Shana. She might be in a little bit of trouble. Furthermore, it's already late evening. We slept for so long. Did Kiri stood there and watched the whole thing?

Now I feel a bit embarrassed.

At least there aren't any explosion happening around the palace anymore. I slowly sneak out of the room. I followed the magic circles that were created by Amanda on the ground floor and finally reach the location that I need to be.

Hey, it's been three days…

There seem to be a lot of rubbles around, so it is still dangerous to be out here huh. Eh? Who is that? He looks badly beaten.

I quickly approach him.

How did no one realize that he was still alive? I don't think I have the strength to carry him though.

I decided to pull him over somewhere safe, out from the rubbles of bricks from where he was initially. He has an exoskeleton around his body, with his dark and slim appearance I assume him to be one of the shadow demons that I kept hearing about.

The one that could hide within the shadows and assassinate those that hate the most, well mostly is the humans that are being targeted. We are at war anyway. He doesn't look well even though he body is not injured.

Did something happen to him, I know! Let's drag him to the illusion room. At least I could protect myself if he tries to attack me.

I didn't think he would be this heavy or am I that weak?

After a few minutes of suffering, I manage to drag his body into the illusion room. It looks like he is recovering, I guess the recovery of energy and fatigue will keep him alive. I wonder if I could have a conversation with him. I doubt he can understand, will I be able to listen to him speak in a demon tongue?

That would be cool!

Oh! He is waking up!

The demon was slowly opening his eyes, upon seeing me up close, his eyes went wide and immediately did something that I wouldn't expect.

"Y-Your majesty!!"

The demon prostrates, the ground floor of the house that I desire was crack by the pressure of his actions.
