I can't help but almost laugh at the part where he wanted to glorify the person that massacre the enemy soldiers. It is the demon contingent that is always keeping on the lookout while living in the forest. How could any of the human survivors in the forest without building something for survival? Of course, they couldn't find any sign of a person living, because the demon that was deployed do not need such things.

I have just figure out that monsters have ranked between them, Aria only sent out level six and above to defend our surrounding borders while level five and below were either kill for their food and bones or be sent out as bait to attack other kingdoms.

".... Ahem*, then I will start. First and foremost, due to the food shortages, there is an increase of runners in the army. This allows the criminal to continue to do the things that they have done without any consequences. I understand how Sagara came to the conclusion, as they do not happen to see any of the villagers as well as the refugees came out from my orphanage building. I didn't answer and give him a smug look. I don't mind having been misunderstood as a bad guy as my reputation already exceeds the negativity range. Most of the people within the alliance circle frown their eyebrows except for Jason and of course the king.

It is obvious the king knows what I've done. Aria gave me constant report whether she has the permission to eliminate the king, secret spies but stop her from doing so as it will help me out in the long run.

As currently only the king knows about my work of progress and if he does not expose it unnecessarily there won't be any problems arising. He knows that his kingdom will survive in the long run as he does not need to worry about any food shortages.

He just needs to plan ahead on how to get other resources such as ores, spice and many others that usually that been traded by with other kingdoms.

Silence prevailed for a few seconds before the king nodded to me. I immediately stood up and starts my own report. Initially, I have no idea what this alliance is all about, but then I realized that the king is building the future leaders that will be handling the kingdom affairs from now on. He is quite the sneaky one as his intention is becoming more and more obvious.

He wants the rest of the leaders within the group to accept me and will slowly bring me to the top of the chain. I wonder what will if he do that, will there be a civil war between Amanda and her brother?

I mention Amanda purely because matter how much the people in charge wants me to take over, the commoner and the nobles won't see me as their leader and will only follow the words of Amanda.

If I were to take over the matter, the changes for the people would be abrupt, and I might really become the true demon king where I overrule everyone within the kingdom.

Continuing with the reports that I am saying;

I ignored his question and glance at the rest of the people in the room. There are others within the room that hasn't had a chance to say anything. Most of them seem not to care what happens to the kingdom. I hope the king is observant enough to know what is happening.

Furthermore, you can't be sure that everyone in the room is truly loyal to the king. He should have his ways to thin out the people would make the situation worse if they are able to escape or manage to send a message to the surrounding kingdoms.

"Think what you will, if anyone else has another idea in mind? An idea that could rebuild the kingdom within three years?"

Almost everyone gasps* when I mention the time I will take for us to recover. The recovery of our economy and the daily life of the people in the kingdom. Of course, I do not have any plan to increase the total population. I would have to reface the issue when we have come to a point where everyone has something to eat and would not go hungry for any part of the day.

It is most crucial to get the citizen's stomach is filled with food, no matter who it is, a noble, a commoner. As long they are a human, we need food in order for us to be able to focus.

When they know that food are not going to be an issue anymore, the people would trust and feel secure. Furthermore, they are more likely to work for us. We could force them to work for us, but it doesn't naturally work that way as in future I would love to see people stepping up to us and announce that they would like to build up their own company or even a new village if they wish to.

We do not have to worry about the demon or monster that is somewhere around the forest. They are under… Well, I am not exactly sure whether they would listen to me but with the help of Aria and Sara, they are well hidden, and the monster will be sentenced to death if they attacked the human from our kingdom.

Unless the humans attack first in which they are asking for it, so I do not mind if they are killed.
