4 Chapter 4

Morning comes quickly, and you soon find yourself together with Cersei and Jaime in your Mother's Chamber, in which the four of you were playing some nameless Game that was invented to teach Children how to properly share. You saw this of course as a waste of time, but not just for you but for your Siblings as well, for what good is the sharing of something that was chosen arbitrary in getting the actual Point of this Lesson into a Child's Head?

But seeing as this Game gives you a good Opportunity you won't complain too much about its defects, it's after all not like you have much in the way of experience in bringing up Children either, so you decide to leave the parenting to your Parents. And instead give Jaime your after several Hours of cuddling lastingly fluffy Lion in the Spirit of sharing, and while you get a Head pat from your Mother out of the Act, it also brings forth the main defect of the Game, namely the Fact that nobody wants to part with something they actually like.

You didn't think that Jaime could actually be as feisty as he is right now, but at least for the time being, you're fine with the Commotion that has taken in your Mother's Chamber. So instead of interfering with the madness going on, you decide that it wouldn't hurt to get a second Lion, especially since you didn't know that the Effects of your Ability could be made permanent. With that Thought in Mind, you ask your Mother if you could simply send one of the Guards to fetch another one, and get the permission right away.

With the Guards sent on their way, you decide to sit down once more and observe how your Mother is slowly breaking up the Fight between your Siblings. It is quite surprising that Jaime likes Lions this much, but you can still guess from where he has that from. It has most likely to do with the Lions of your Grandfather, which we aren't allowed to Touch, for obvious reasons. And while you don't see this as a big deal, for Jaime it might be a bigger matter, and Cersei just likes what Jaime likes, yeah that should be how it is.

After a few Minutes of waiting the Guards return, and bring with them five more Lion Statues, of which you promptly grab yourself three, and then proceed to make them as fluffy as their currently so sought-after Brother. You wait a moment for the Guards to put down the two remaining Lions and to once more take up their Post outside the Chamber, before you proceed to give Cersei and your Mother their Cubs, and you have to admit that it's quite cute how fast Cersei has forgiven Jaime once she got her Hands on a Lion herself.

The adorable Sight was also appreciated in that it helps in keeping your Eyes away from your Mother, for while your Siblings are quite happy about the Gift you're sure that your Mother would soon look into this, and you have no interest in having a Conversation about it in the current Situation. Simply because getting her to take notice of your Abilities was what you wanted to achieve, and with that done having to lie to her Face in some open Confrontation about it isn't something you have any interest in doing, so you prefer pretending to be clueless about it.

In the end, the rest of the Day was rather boring, but all in all still okay, mainly because you had a Lion to secretly experiment on that kept your Attention just fine, so that the Day wasn't all that straining despite the volume your Siblings decided to play at. But even with such a favorable outcome, you soon decided that in the future your Plans should involve some more actual planning, for you have very little in the way of confidence in your Acting-ability, and so no Wish to take on such risks in the future.

But you soon couldn't help but begin to worry as even Days later nothing has happened, and so you still play each Day with Jaime and Cersei which was what you originally wanted to avoid, but your Mother hasn't changed at all. Going up to her and asking about things you were trying to sell as something normal to you wouldn't be any good, seeing as you most likely shouldn't understand the significance of things like this at your current Age, so what are you supposed to do now?

Every time you look at your Mother for more than a moment, she smiles that vexing Smile of hers as if nothing was wrong or out of the ordinary, and it even seems to get bigger, as more Days pass by. Until at some Point you finally realise that you have failed, not in your Objective to harmlessly make your Connection with Stone known to your Mother, but with everything else it seems, and you have to admit that your already low Evaluation of your Acting-abilities must have still been a gross overestimation.

But just how much of a Difference can a simple Helmet possibly make? Or were you screwing up how to properly speak for your Age, you actually thought you imitated your Siblings quite well, but everything seems to say otherwise. Well, there would of course still be the Option that you simply underestimated your Mother, she is a Noblewoman after all, so the reading of People more capable than you wouldn't be something that she isn't used to.

Now the Question is what are the Positives of your Failure to hide your Intelligence, there has to be something that's good here, right? You will most likely be unable to distance yourself from your Family again now that your Mother knows of your Intelligence, but that would be a Positive and Negative thing at the same time. But mayhaps you could get your own Chamber out of all this, which would be a huge Positive to you, seeing as you wouldn't have to pretend to sleep anymore, and maybe, just maybe, your Father might come Home a bit earlier, which would be nice seeing as you had never the Chance to actually speak with him.
