3 Chapter 3

With the little Cub as new Companion, you make your way back to your Chamber a bit earlier than you had originally planned, and sit down on your Bed to take a closer look at the odd Statue. The small Lion still looks smooth to you, just like all the other Statues did, but as soon as you Touch it the Marble deforms itself into something that actually looks like fur. And so, as if it was nothing, your small Companion defies your Sense of Logic until it reforms the moment you decide to take your Finger away from its Body again.

When you decide to pet it, its whole Body begins to alter so that instead of the once sitting Statue, you now have one that's lying down. And while this is all quite fascinating, you aren't sure if this is actually a good thing, seeing as this is something completely new to you. You are no Mason, but you are sure that this isn't how Marble or any other kind of Stone is supposed to behave.

Out of curiosity, you decide to Touch the Wall of your Chamber to see if you could replicate the phenomenon, and you got your Answer the moment you made contact with it. Now with a good part of the Wall in your Hand, you panic for a bit, but ultimately you managed to restore the Wall after a few moments without much difficulty. You decide shortly after that experience that there are better times and places for you to Test out your apparent Ability to manipulate Stone, and decide to wait for your Mother and Siblings instead.

Like the many times before when you wondered where your Parents were, you realise that you have way too much freedom for your Age, but that seems to have less to do with being neglected or something like that, and more with the Fact that your Parents simply take their Duties way too serious. You wish that you could do something to help them, but with things being as they are, the Thought of having the attention of both your Mother and Father isn't all that appealing to you either, so you once more choose to remain quiet about your Abilities and all the other Stuff.

You justify it with the Fact that it would also bring up way too many Questions like why you 'slept', despite being unable to do so, and you really can't have that. So you stick to your Routine, and remain quiet when the Door opens to reveal your Mother and her Guards, and you continue to do so as the Guards lay down your already sleeping Siblings. And then you remain still and quiet when your Mother gives you a Kiss on the Cheek before she leaves to talk with your Guards outside.

All of it making you really wish, or rather crave, the Ability to sleep again, but you already know that this Wish of yours won't come true, after all it didn't do so the last six-hundred Nights you had it. At the Thought, the World seems a bit bleaker again, and so you slowly settle down for another meaningless Night filled with Depression and Doubt, and you once more think about how annoying it is that something this small is able to take such a Toll on you.

So with the Night being the usual time of Misery, you sneak out of your Bed and grab yourself a certain fluffy Lion to have a bit of Company to cuddle with, but in the end it doesn't matter how cozy you make it yourself, no Night is ever restful, for sleep will not take you, no matter how long you wait. And that becomes quite infuriating from time to time, simply because while you have to deal with this each and every Night your Brother, and your Sister are snoring away the Night half a meter away from you.

You contemplate for a moment if you should continue your exploration efforts with the next Tower in the Morning, but then swiftly decide against it. With your Guards surely outlining the Day to your Mother, a few Weeks with her can hardly be avoided. And you aren't sure how happy you should feel about that, seeing as despite you, your Sister Cersei and your Brother Jaime all looking the same, nobody seems to have a problem telling you apart from your younger Siblings, making you somewhat dread Situations in which your abnormalities might be discovered, so something like a few Weeks of Mother Daughter time for example isn't all that great.

You do wish to be closer to your Parents but with things being, once more, as they are, having your Mother spend her limited time with her Duties and your Siblings, always seemed like a good enough Idea to buy you some time. Time for what you aren't quite sure, maybe enough for you to be a bit more unique without drawing attention, or mayhaps just enough for you to find out how to solve your sleeping problem, but you guess it's your own Fault, you were the one that wanted to explore one of the actually dangerous places in the Castle after all.

And now you will have to be in the same Chamber as your Brother and Sister each Hour of the Day, for who knows how long, hopefully the Gods will have mercy on you. But despite your Mind continuing that Line of thought throughout the Night, you ultimately manage to get yourself back together before your Mother came to wake you up, and you decide that you would have to try something to shake this all up a bit, for you would not waste your time playing with your Siblings at this early of an Age.

The Plan, not that you would actually call it one, is for you to take your little White Companion with you when playtime comes, and then slowly, and in the most disarming way possible, let your Mother notice your Ability to manipulate Stone. And from there it's improvisation that will have to carry the Day, simply because this is the best you can do at the moment. For you can't just endure Torture in the Night and at Day at the same time, that would truly be too much.
