9 Going Back.

8:15 AM.

Shen is currently still outside the door, but in his vision, he can only see Nyna while the whole of the room is in full black filled with nothing but void.

"You can sit down you know."

At this moment when Nyna spoke, Shen's vision finally calms down and everything starts to return back to normal, the room is like what Shen saw in some illustration books (Manga) he reads to pass time, it's one of the books that came from a very long time ago yet seems to have a good quality as it was protected carefully by the preserver (Otakus) of it.

Shen found a few hundreds of these books at a destroyed location well hidden under a bed, the location was to be renewed and will be made to be another apartment city.

Well, all things aside, Shen felt more comfortable by the passing minute as he gets used to Nyna's aura which she definitely couldn't control.

"Yes." Shen answers as he moves towards a pillow and sat there, imitating what he saw in one of those illustration books.

Seeing this, Nyna already approved of Shen, but as a leader, she needs to be strict, she seriously want to be a friendly person, but due to some circumstances ever since she was young, she couldn't even have a friendly conversation neither bond with others.

Because although Nyna has a gorgeous and beautiful face, she has this air of coldness and eyes that's just seemingly wanting to pierce your soul. In a world full of fake people, they couldn't approach Nyna afraid of blurting out their true intentions. Well, that's another story for another time.

Nyna looks at Shen intently and spoke: "Which dumpster were you picked up by Shizu and Pil?"

"Du... Dumpster?" Shen felt speechless, for a woman that displays poise and grace, her choice of words are quite crass, still, Shen replies: "I'm from the 7th City, my name is Kaz Shen and had just woken up from my coma."

Hearing this, Nyna also had the same thought process as Shizu and Pil earlier, but she's also thinking of something else: "You've been in a coma? I think you're lying though..."

"Huh? I have no knowledge of what happened and as soon as I wander out, I was attacked by monsters, for some reason, I woke up after so many years..." Shen kept his lies but his heart is beating rapidly, and as soon as he looks up, he saw Nyna's eyes turned into that of a cat.

Nyna's piercing eyes felt like she could see anything; "Well, you're telling me only half the truth but you're also lying on some part."

Shen felt speechless again as he looks at Nyna in shock: "That..."

"Just tell me. What do you intend to do here? Spy? Join us?" Nyna's voice sounded before Shen could even reply.

Shen looks at Nyna in the eyes, her eyes seem like it's piercing him and stopping him from telling a lie.

"I'm..." Shen couldn't even explain his side now.

Nyna already knew something is off, as Shen definitely is not one of those bad guys, but she needs to know what his intentions really are.

After just a few seconds, Shen breathes out a huge one as he tries to calm down: "Just like I said before, everything is new to me and all of a sudden, I was transferred to this place without any knowledge."

Nyna looked at Shen intently as she sighs: "I guess that's about it. Well, you can socialize with people here and know of what happened after you entered your 'COMA', you can decide later if you want to stay or not."

Nyna emphasizes the word coma as she really didn't believe it but also is too lazy to interrogate Shen more.

Seeing that Shen is still spacing out, she adds: "Well? Aren't you getting out then?"

"Ah... yes." Shen spoke as he immediately headed out.

"She's really beautiful..."

It was just meant to be a thought, but due to the events unfolding in the few hours he's been in the future, he blurted it out without knowing.

Nyna heard it but kept a stoic face, but after Shen completely left the mansion, Nyna blushes a bit before returning to her table. "Hmmp!"

"He... He called me cute..." Nyna blushes further as she kept remembering those words, yet, she even misinterpret beautiful and cute.

Shen immediately made his way out, but with no idea in mind as of where to go.

"Hey, done your interview yet?"

At this moment, someone spoke behind Shen. The moment Shen looks back, he saw one of the person that saved him earlier.

"Yes, It's quite scary too." Shen spoke as he rubs the back of his head.

Pil chuckles slightly and replies: "Well, no worries, we even fought Fort Master Nyna 50 versus 1 yet all of us were obliterated, you can just guess how strong she actually is."

Pil looked at Shen waiting for his shocked expression, but what he saw instead is a calm face.

Well, Shen would definitely know how strong Nyna is compared to them since he saw her ginormous stats earlier.

Although a little bit different, since Shen came there earlier, Pil thought that Shen would've experienced her pressure first hand: "Well, did she make you leave?"

Shen shook his head: "No, but she said I could live here for a while and decide if I should stay or not."

Pil nods his head, and with a pat on Shen's shoulder, he also goes on his own way while leaving a few words: "Well, it is definitely good if you can just be a normal citizen of our Fort, being an evolved one has its own bad things, don't be too greedy with power. got it?"

Shen smiled as he nods his head, then after that, something happened.

Seeing this, Shen sighs, he still want to see as many things possible, but it seems time is running out.

With nothing else to do, Shen spent the rest of his time roaming around the fort while checking the surroundings.

A few seconds left before he returns.

Just at this moment, a something... or someone suddenly grabs Shen's hands.

"I know that uniform... if you were hospitalized, you should be wearing a robe!"

Shen looks back and saw that it was none other than Nyna; "Ah... No... I-I..."

"Hey, you're... where have you come from, tell me now!" Nyna's voice sounded extremely agitated or even slightly nervous for some reason.

"Those are uniforms from the year 2125 before the apocalypse happened, tell me now!" Nyna felt something amiss and thought of something.

Shen only stood there speechlessly but something is currently happening.

"Dragon Military School, Sumiren Nyna, 1st year!" Nyna spoke seeing the light surrounding Shen.

Shen only looked at Nyna speechlessly still or rather, he couldn't move or speak anymore.

"Please..."

Before Nyna could even finish her words, Shen vanishes into thin air.

A few moments after.

Shen returns back to the present time, his hands wide open as if it feels like everything was just a dream.

Looking at the clock in front of him which is displaying 12:00NN.

"I've... returned..."

Shen is still thinking though, what does Nyna mean when she said to save her.

"Dragon Military School?"
