35 Qiao Yuelan Got Slapped In The Face

Qiao Yuelan stood outside the door and stared at Cen Yi in a daze. She even forgot to wipe her tears. Cen Yi's words went way beyond her expectations.

Even Cen Yi as a person was different from whom she expected him to be.

Just as she was about to open her mouth and say something, Lu Zhengqing walked up from behind Cen Yi and placed his arm on Cen Yi's shoulder. He winked at Qiao Yuelan like a flirtatious demon and said to her, "Campus belle, as an older sister, how could you say it's your sister's fault for getting beaten up by other people? I'm sorry. I don't have a younger sister so you can give your younger sister to me. Our Brother Cen will take care of all her fights."

Fighting with me for a younger sister? Cen Yi turned and looked at Lu Zhengqing. He raised his eyebrows and asked him arrogantly, "If Qiao Lingxiang is your sister and I help her with her fights. What would I be then?"

Lu Zhengqing joked. Cen Yi elbowed Lu Zhengqing's chest. Lu Zhengqing's face turned pale and he bent down and clutched his heart. He pointed at Cen Yi and shouted furiously, "You're trying to murder your brother-in-law! You can't do that!"

The two of them started to bicker again. The others at the side viewed it as a joke and laughed. No one cared about Qiao Yuelan anymore.

Qiao Yuelan's face turned green and white with anger after she was forgotten by them. In the end, under Fu Mengyu's urging, the two of them finally left Cen Yi's classroom.

Qiao Yuelan's tone was fierce. She walked and continued, "If something happened to her, someone would've come running to me to tell me about it. Why should I go see her? There's a school doctor at our school. If not, she has her headteacher looking after her. No news means she's alright."

She looked stern as she said, "I'm really stupid. I took pity on her when I saw her getting beaten up so badly. I wanted to resolve her problem for her but in the end, she was led astray by Cen Yi and his bad friends and wants to continue this cycle of vengeance. I don't want to concern myself with Qiao Lingxiang's matters anymore. I don't care if she dies or not."

Fu Mengyu sighed when she heard this. She pulled Qiao Yuelan and asked her, "Why are you angry? Cen Yi is always like this. He's actually helping your sister. Why are you so angry? If you can't convince him this time, you can try a few more times."

"Because…"

He rejected me! Qiao Yuelan didn't finish her sentence. She just shook her head and sulked.

"Nevermind, I'm not angry because of Cen Yi. I just won't care about Qiao Lingxiang anymore."

Qiao Yuelan had her own stance. Since she was young, her experiences taught her that many things could be resolved by having peaceful relationships with people and managing your own relationships properly. Things could be resolved without fighting.

Violence wouldn't solve anything. It would only bring an endless amount of hatred.

If one wanted to solve a problem, one still needed to use humane methods.

Qiao Yuelan recalled Qiao Lingxiang's past life. It wasn't as glamorous as hers but it was peaceful and stable. For a lady with Qiao Lingxiang's appearance, this was enough.

After she finished speaking to Fu Mengyu, Qiao Yuelan went back to her gifted class and started studying hard.

Fu Mengyu found her attitude funny. Qiao Yuelan was used to men flattering her so it was understandable that she couldn't accept Cen Yi rejecting her.

Also, they had always assumed Cen Yi helped Qiao Lingxiang because he liked Qiao Yuelan.

From the looks of it, Qiao Yuelan had definitely thought Cen Yi would stop after she went to talk to him.

Yet, this rebellious and unruly Cen Yi still wanted to interfere in Qiao Lingxiang's matters after she spoke to him.

Also, Cen Yi only helped Qiao Lingxiang in the beginning because he couldn't stand Qiu Chen and Cheng Tian bullying Qiao Lingxiang. But after Qiao Yuelan spoke to him, he got so angry that he now took Qiao Lingxiang under his wing. He would take care of Qiao Lingxiang from now on.

Qiao Yuelan felt so slapped in the face that she felt disgusted.

Fu Mengyu couldn't see any evidence that Cen Yi liked Qiao Yuelan. Instead, she noticed that Cen Yi was different from the other young men who flattered Qiao Yuelan.

This caused Fu Mengyu to view him in a new light.

As for Cen Yi, his group chatted amongst themselves for some time and came to a conclusion. Qiao Lingxiang was fine. They just saw her at the school gates and she looked alright. So, Cen Yi decided to continue with his plan and go home first before going up to look for Qiao Lingxiang.

But before he went to see Qiao Lingxiang, he brought Lu Zhengqing and his friends to Cheng Tian's classroom first.

Cheng Tian wasn't there. His classmates said he had already gone home.

This was how the school operated now. The teachers only cared about the gifted class. No teachers came to teach the ordinary classes so many students just came to school for their three meals daily. They left school to play for the rest of the time.

No one cared about them.

When he found out Cheng Tian had already left school, Cen Yi turned around and said to Lu Zhengqing who was behind him, "Go and bring Cheng Tian's desk over."

Lu Zhengqing smiled as he placed a cigarette in his mouth. Then he entered Cheng Tian's classroom along with another year three student and found Cheng Tian's desk. They carried Cheng Tian's desk out to take their revenge.

All the students in the classrooms along the hallway watched Lu Zhengqing and his friends bringing out Cheng Tian's desk and throwing it into the man-made pond along with the books and everything inside.

No one said anything. They couldn't afford to provoke Cheng Tian or Cen Yi. These two groups of people had officially become enemies today.

After throwing out Cheng Tian's desk, Cen Yi rushed home and planned to look for Qiao Lingxiang first to give her some energy coupons. That way, she could rest easy at home for a week. School was nothing now. After he returned from the Cold Snake Tower, he would bring her to take revenge on Cheng Tian.
