7 First Quest

[Good job, getting to stage 2 of Qi accumulation, now you need to get a qi technique]

"Thank's Joe, ", said Jack quickly getting up from the lotus position.

[I think it's time you finally get your first quest, and if you succeed I'll reward you a technique]

"Awesome!, let's go what are we waiting for."

[First Quest Recieved]

[Rank D, Quest]

[Find Shelter, food, and water]

[Reward: Elementary Qi Technique]

Jack left his bedroom, hoping that the quest would not be that difficult, he checked his phone's GPS to see if there were any Super market's close to his apartment.

Grabbing the fire axe with him, he went into the kitchen to see if there was anything he could use as a shield against the zombies.

He was able to deal with the zombie by himself, but they were really quick.

And he thought even if this wasn't a sci-fi movie, he wasn't sure if the zombie virus was contagious.

He checked the entire apartment and saw that there was nothing he could use.

Jack knowing that without the shield, getting killed was very likely. He hoped in the supermarket, he could get some items to make himself a makeshift shield.

Getting out of the apartment, he quickly went down the stair's and followed his phone's GPS system, it was just a few blocks away from his apartment.

Slowly edging away from the apartment's main gate. He saw a bunch of car's littering the road.

Quickly getting to his own car, he grabbed the key's in his pocket, and started the car.

The moment the engine roared, he could hear the groaning and moaning of zombie's, quickly stepping on the pedal, he tried to maneuver his way out of the bunch of car's that were littering the parking place.

Noticing, it was taking to much time to move the car into the main road. He saw that in the side view mirror, a zombie was edging up on him.

Quickly forgetting about getting unto the road, he reversed the car to crush the zombie, behind his car.

[Lv 1 Basic Zombie Killed]

[10 EnergyPoints Gained]

Those EnergyPoints must be what Joe uses to make me stronger, Jack thought.

Jack saw that a lot more zombies were coming, especially from his apartment. Knowing it was hopeless to try and use the car to go anywhere.

He got out of the car, quickly running to a jewelry store he spotted right next to his apartment.

Turning the door handle, he noticed the door was locked. Hurriedly banging the door, he heard shuffling behind the door.

As soon as the door opened, a strong hand quickly grabbed at him from behind the door, pulling him in.

Don't bang so loud, are you bloody stupid, do you want to attract the zombie's" said the mysterious stranger. Sorry, the zombie's were about to get me, he replied anxiously.

"Of course they would try to get you, with all the bloody ruckus, you made out there".

"What type of idiot starts a car at the beginning of a bloody apocalypse".

"Apparently, this one replied," someone from the back of the jewelry store. He quickly noticed there were at least 7 people in the tightly enclosed space of the jewelry store.

"It's alright guys take it easy, it wasn't his fault and if you keep shouting you'd be the ones to attract the zombies."

"But Ambrosia," Shut it, Nick we already have enough trouble on our hand's with the zombies outside, we don't need other distraction.

Fire burning in his eyes, Nick glared at Jack. Thanking Ambrosia in his heart, someone turned on the lights.

Jack started to examine everyone in the room, he noticed that everyone was observing him too. But someone particularly stood out.

It was a woman about 24, she had sharp eyes, that looked like they could see right through you.

"You must be Ambrosia", he said to her, looking into her blue eyes, and trying to look confident.

He could feel, himself blushing, she was really beautiful with her sharp cheekbones and blue as sky eyes.

He knew that even though, he was trying to not blush, she could fell that he was blushing. Smirking at him, she coldly dissected him from top to bottom.

No doubt thinking about the way's, he could cause them trouble, someone from the back of the store snidely commented "Look's like we got another one smitten with you, Ambrosia", this time he couldn't hide his blushing.

Everyone in the store laughed, and the previously stiffing mood relaxed.

Looking away from Ambrosia, he continued to observe everyone in the room. They all looked like gangster's, with tattoos, gold tooths, leather jackets, and greasy hair.

Having a bad feeling about this, he quickly noticed that Ambrosia's smirk was getting wider and wider.

"Welcome to the wolf's den," she said with a big grin.
