7 Qi Mountain

I took out the suitcase that I took from the hoodlums and pushed in the combination to the lock and see a sea of red faces.

1,000,000 an amount that many couldn't ever earn in a lifetime. That's more money his mother has spent to raise him and more money that his father has lost to that clearly rigged gambling house.

More money then he had ever scene in his life.

But in 2 years it'll be worth less then toilet paper.

using hundred dollar bills to wipe your asses clean was a symbol of the rich. But after the Apocalypse happened the common currency changed to food, cores, weapons or Ling Shi.

In the apocalypse even the poorest men in the world had bills yet they couldn't spend it. Most of these bills were used to start fires and keep survivors warm.

I instantly get online and search for the material goods that will sell well in the apocalypse.

I was the number one merchant in the past if you didn't know. I joined the Apocalypse merchant caravan in the past and that is were I finally rose up to become a powerhouse.

I got the World Tree's Core in one of my routes though the forests. And I was the only caravan leader that dared to take that route as it was the most dangerous route. Forests have more beasts then on human land. That's because forests were the territory of the beasts. While Mountains were home of the angels. The human territory is also a part of the land of the demons.

These other worldly beings are lesser in number but more powerful then most humans. They are all about the same level as a powerful evolutionary while there most powerful ones are stronger then the strongest human evolutionary by hundreds of times. Be that as it may they don't dare launch a full out attack on humans due to the nuclear weapons humans have. As long as you don't pass the Deity stage nuclear weapons can still kill you. That is why although humans are one of the weakest races after the Apocalypse they were able to stay alive even after the world changed.

What is important now currently is to find a way to stock up on supplies and to Cultivate a firm foundation.

I pull at the bunk bed in my room trying to pull it out of the corner but am unable to due to the weight. Although I have the soul of world tree fused with me that doesn't change the fact that this mortal body is a 11 year old's. The strength isn't even a millionth of my previous life. I give up on trying to move the bed so I can hide my suitcase underneath it and open up my closet. I grab a knife from the kitchen and proceed to stab into a crack behind my closet revealing a hidden space where I kept the extra snack I used to buy with the coins I found in my fathers pockets after he comes back from gambling. I proceed to clean out the space that is full of wrappers that are more then 5 years old and take out all the chips that I had saved in case of a financial emergency.

I stuff the suit case into the hidden compartment open up my bags of chips chomping down on them. I consume them fast. The best thing I've tasted since my rebirth. In the Apocalypse there were no chips as people were having a hard time even filling there stomachs who would have the time to make chips?

I lock up my closet and head out the door. I concentrate my senses and focus my soul into my eyes. I then look up and see hints of blue purple and all sorts of colors in the air. These are the slight hints of Ling Qi in the air. I follow the density of the colors and eventually It lead to outside the city. I reach a hill that has a large amount of Ling Qi in the air and follow it up heading upwards I see buildings well more like mansions. These mansions are large and huge. Enough to fit a hundred or more people in at once. This is an area which is generally considered as rich territory due to the amount of money needed to be spent to buy these houses.

Following the path upwards you can see a magnificent horizon It is calm and quiet there and when I finally reach an area that has the most density of Ling Qi it is by a tree in front of a big mansion. I sit in front of the tree put both palms on the tree and start absorbing the Ling Qi from the tree. Like a never ending source of Ling Qi it provides an unending amount of Ling Qi.

"That's weird."

I use my power [Plant Communication] and find out that underneath this tree is a Ling Qi Well.

I was stunned. Even a strand of Ling Qi is hard to find in the world now yet there is a Ling Qi well still here. It was said that Ling Qi wells have long since dried out before the apocalypse! Yet here is a well although weak and incomparable to those that will show up after the Apocalypse but not being dried out is already a miracle!

I use my senses to figure out what has been sustaining it for so long. I find to my surprise a Ling Qi Vortex matrix. This is an ancient Matrix left behind by the ancient cultivators. That means this is a matrix that has survived for at least 5,000 YEARS!

This place must have been a Ancient cultivation sects Training Ground.

A look of excitement flashes across my face as I figured out it might be easier then I thought to get create a firm foundation. In this day and age where Ling Qi is sparse the only places that have Ling Qi would stick out like a sore thumb. It's easy to find treasures!
