5 CHAPTER 5

After absorbing the crystals he reached stage 1. As he had absorbed a legendary core and a legendary crystal, the number of crystals he needed to absorb to increase his stages were 5 times more than others. To evolve to Stage 1 one needs to absorb 50 crystals but he needs 250 crystals. After absorbing it only 150 crystals were left. Then he called Arisa and his other friends and blindfolded them and then gave them the crystals and told how to absorb it. Soon they absorbed it and became evolved. They can now fight with the zombies bare handed. Their strength is similar to that of 2 zombies. They felt strong after absorbing it and they asked Alex what did he do but he kept it a secret and didn't tell them. Then they picked up metal rods easily and went out of their base to kill monsters. They went to a medical shop as they didn't have any medice in their base. The medicine shop was surrounded by zombies but they went towards it by killing the zombies in their way. With their more strong body and mind they were easily able to kill the zombies with a hard strike in their head. Sora was given the task to collect the crystals. Soon they reached near the medical shop. They opened the gate and entered the shop and saw a woman and a girl of their age inside the shop. Alex lifted his weapon and went inside the medical shop cautiously. After entering the shop both the girls were preparing to attack him as they thought him to be a zombie but soon Alex stopped them and told them that if they wanna live they should come with him. They looked worried as it was hard for them to trust someone at a time like this so they refused to go with him and as the shop was surrounded by high walls and a gate it looked much more safe to stay inside than to go out with some stranger. Alex took some medicines and as the elderly girl was a medical student so she told him which medicine is for what disease. Although Alex was only 18 years old but he looked few years older.
