16 CHAPTER 16

Soon both the zombies and the team that went with Alex engaged in a combat. Alex showed strength similar to an ordinary stage-1 evolved but still that was also unbelievable for ordinary soldiers. Alex and others went on a rampage. Others only stayed near the cars and shot the zombies while Alex ran around the base and killed more than 70 zombies alone. After killing more than 150 zombies the base was cleared and a route was secured. Soon John sent his soldiers and took control over the base MSZ-4. But suddenly Alex with his enhanced senses and hearing power, he could hear the breathing and growling of a beast, a monster which is atleast at Stage-3. He looked forward and suddenly John came running to him from the back and said-" I knew you could do it. Congratulations on your victory but I have a bad news. We may need to go away from this base. Few minutes ago we lost contact with MSZ-5 and in their last message a man said that a beast attacked their base and..."

Alex- " I know. By the way, what did your seniors told you? Did they agree? "

John- " Yes. They were very happy to hear that we can recover a base without damaging the base and with minimum weapons. They thought about bombing the base and kill the zombies but the way you did it.. After seeing it they were speechless. But they said that the base should still stay connected to the military. "

Alex nodded. Alex knew that the military won't let him take a base so easily. But after taking control over a base and becoming stronger, the military won't be able to control him once he reaches Tier-4. With his strength he should have strength similar to that of the Demon God. As a human he can't exceed the strength of a Demon God unless he evolves into a higher species. But it's almost impossible as the amount of information he had was still limited. In his previous life he never crossed his state and as a result he only knew very little about outside world. The information about Demons was one of the things he didn't knew about. Although he knew about the Demon God and the Demon king but that's all he knew. Who were the demons or how they came was still unknown.
