2 Status, Boxes, Skills, Regret
The classroom currently was a huge mess; messy chairs, abandoned bags, books, bats, knives and many more garbage decorated the room. If that's not more than enough, bloody unmoving bodies are present, while blood blanketed the floor and vandalized the walls like graffiti, making the room not just messy but bloody.
On the front of the room, a person breathing heavily is currently undressing an unconscious girl until the girl was on her underclothes. The person undressing the girl is only using one hand to do the deed, but it doesn't stop him from doing so. He wore the eyes of a mad person, determined to do something even when he knew that death was coming. Despite his fears, he had decided to accept it, he knew that his end is near, and he only hopes that that someone would turn a blind eye on him and ignore him to fulfill a fellow man's dying wish. Thinking so, a maddened laugh escapes his mouth, "haHa… haHa…" And as the mad person tore off the girl's remaining clothes forcefully, he then brought his head near the girl's neck to lick it. As he did so, the girl seems to awaken and began moving. After licking the girl's neck, the mad person was about to move his head downwards when the girl began hugging the mad person tightly. The girl then seems to imitate what the mad person did, she too move her head near the mad person's neck and then… did a huge bite, spraying blood to the surroundings.
Seeing the intimate exchange between the girl and Hummer, Ray was feeling amused. He thought of how unlucky Hummer was, from all of the unconscious girls; the one he had chosen was the only one who got infected. Ray remembered from his past life that, from this room, there were two fast moving H1 zombies and they were; Katie, the weak girl who always sleeps in class who is seated in front of him. And the scaredy-cat Julie, the one that Hummer is currently being intimate with.
Being reincarnated back, Ray wanted to know how much of everything will happen, so he waited to see if Julie would still turn. From his past life, Hummer didn't even make it near Julie when Ray struck him to death with a bat. He was then attacked by Katie and Julie. Killing the two 1st generation H1s then gave him a huge help as a start by then. 1st generation H1s were rare, for they needed to be alive when infected fully, if they died before being infected fully, they would just turn into a normal zombie. They were like your limited lucky spawn monsters in games. They gave bountiful experience or equipment. Thinking about the rewards, Ray slowly walked towards the intimate couple.
He used to be sad when someone he knows die, used to be feeling pity to the weak, but as time passed, everything began to feel common that he became numbed of these feelings.
Now near Julie and hummer, Ray proceeds to stab Julie. Stabbing the side of Julie's skull, words then began appearing on his mind.

Now Ray just needs to wait for Hummer to turn and wait if he could harvest a 2nd generation H1 zombie. While Ray waited for a few seconds, Ray was thinking about the apocalypse on his past life.
What Ray is thinking now is to not to just survive like what most of the people were trying to do but how to reclaim the world from the apocalypse. Thinking about the lasts of humankind, Ray thought about them, and they were those of who did not just think about surviving about the apocalypse but who fought and fought unfettered until they become really strong.
Mankind has no lack of brilliant minds and heroes, and the coming of the apocalypse bridges every gap of the society. If you are courageous and brilliant enough, you could become something that can stand above all; you can become a valiant leader that leads a huge number of people, become a strong individual that can be commanded by no one. But despite having many strong leaders and individuals, humankind still got wiped out.
Because of the apocalypse, there were no laws and order. There are many leaders and most of them fought each other, the strong individuals took advantaged of the weak, and the weak feared and envied the strong. The weaker ones would then collude and brought the stronger one's down. In by itself, the world was on chaos, and anybody can be killed. Brilliant minds and heroes would die here and there. The lasts of mankind are those of the strongest individuals, strong to the point that they could fight a country alone. The world was huge and the people were spread on the map sporadically. The population got trimmed slowly. Alone, they couldn't stand the swarm of the evolving enemies, until even the strongest ones died.
At that moment the corpse of Hummer on top of the naked Julie began moving, a knife then stabbed its head which stopped it from moving any further.

Killing the 2nd generation zombie, he got a white box. Checking the surroundings, it seems that the area is clear. Jake would die a little bit later and it seems that the zombie outside has been attracted by the screams that came on the lower floors. Ray concentrated on his mind, 'status'.

Ray look into the status panel and can see that he is currently level 1 and only needed 5 experience points to level up further into level two. It was lucky that he found 2 1st generation H1 at start, for a normal zombie would only gave 1 experience points each, and he would need 10 of them just to level up from level zero to level one. After thinking about this, he then puts his attention to his statistics. His statistics should be considered as being of the above average, for an average adult would have 10 points of stat points each. Seeing that he had 2 stat points available, he put the stat points directly into stamina, for what he needed the most now to grow faster is a less tiring body.

Looking at the Skills panel, Ray could see the skill that accompanied him from his start until the end of his past life, Transmutation.

Personal skills are unique skills that an individual have. It remains to be known whether it was God who determined which skills goes from person to person or whether it exists from the start. And his skill, Transmutation is a versatile skill that could be applied on many things. At first, it was hard to control for its definition was kind of ambiguous and he doesn't know its uses, but after using it on many different things and leveling it up, it was a kind of skill that needs creativity and a lot of knowledge. But even though personal skills are very powerful, personal skills are unique thereby can't be upgraded using skill points and have to be trained to level up.
Looking at the system skills, Inspect is a skill that exactly does what it name says, it lets you inspect anything your eyes can see. The storage box skill on the other hand is a skill that lets you store and take items to a personal space. Lvl1 Storage box currently has a space of 1 cubic meter. Ray put his thought into the Storage box skill to take a look inside, 'Storage box'.
An imaginary space appeared on his mind with 3 objects floating around, like floating debris on space. They were the two black boxes and one white box he received by killing the recent zombies.
Boxes are like chests you received on killing rare or boss monsters in games; they have various things inside, could be equipment, and could be skill books, many things that boost your strength in the apocalypse. During the apocalypse, the first 7 days could be said to be the beginner stage, it was said that there are three types of boxes that you could receive during its span. The first is the box with the lowest quality, the white box, the second one is the black box with high quality rewards, and the last is the yin yang box with rewards remain to be known. After the first 7 days of the apocalypse, the boxes would stop appearing and be replaced by chests and coins instead.
Ray put his focus on the floating items and selected the white box.

Light then appeared in front of Ray. As the light slowly subsided, an item slowly appeared. It was a pair of shoes shining with white aura.

During his past life, Ray killed Hummer without him turning into a 2nd generation H1 zombie so he didn't receive a white box which gave such an item. After wearing the equipment, he could feel his body becoming lighter. Ray then proceeds to open both of the black boxes at once.

After confirmation, 4 balls of light appeared in front of Ray. As the lights subsided, what's left was four items; three items shone with bronze aura, while one with silver. The three with bronze auras are a weird-looking pistol, a black leather gloves, and a book. The last item with shining silver aura was also a book. Ray look at the items with intrigue for they were clearly different from what he got on his past life; he even got a silver item and a Skill book even so.

Ray then used the Ugly snake pistol's active skill [Bullet Call]. After receiving a bullet on his hands, he put the pistol on the storage box together with the bullet. Afterwards, Ray use the available skill point to upgrade Great Vigor's level. The skill book that increases his stamina is what he needed right now the most, not upgrading it would be too much of a waste.
Upgrading learned skills would require the same skill points no matter the quality, each level then would require an additional skill point. As the level of Great vigor increases to level 2, upgrading it next to 3 would then require two skill points.

Now it seems that he is ready to go out…
Taking a look around the room, the three unconscious girls are still there, doing what they have done the most, being unconscious. Then looking at Jake, he remembered that he was like a dying cockroach which took a long time to die, he will have about half an hour left until he dies before becoming a slow moving zombie. Jake was still leaning in there, still holding his stomach, his eyes close but still twitching, with a face that looks like someone suffering from a diarrhea.
Looking at the three girls again, Ray tried to remember their names, May, Lea, and Bea. Ray had once chosen the path as a leader of the masses. He saved those three and proceeded to find survivors in the school as much as he can while salvaging supplies for survival. The strong protected the weak, and the weak supported the strong as much as they can. But he doesn't have time for that now. He got no time to babysit children. He looked at them and found that they still had weapons near them.
Ray then came near Jake and stabbed his head with a knife as he said, "Consider this as my parting gift"

Coming out of the classroom, Ray proceeded to stroll in the silent and bloody hallway as he began to think about things.
During the apocalypse, many things were unexplainable by science. The things they knew would change from time to time, and it made many people gave up in learning about the apocalypse. Trying to survive alone already gave people too much to think about, thinking about other things would just burn their brain cells with close to no rewards. During the apocalypse what most of the people were trying to do were just trying to hide and survive, fighting not just the damned undead but also against living people for various reasons, ranging from the greatest of reasons to the pettiest of reasons.
Ray needed to find a path different from what the people on his past life chose, different from what the he… on the past, chose…
During the 7th day of the apocalypse, a bonus test would be given to mankind. God would give people the clan system, and Ray needed this, he would need this to band the strongest individuals together. Thinking about the strongest individuals Ray began to reminisce. There was once an individual, a strong individual who would probably be one of the strongest and be one of the last of humankind alive, a pity that the individual died early. And the most hateful thing is that the individual died because of his mistake, it was the 1st of his regrets. He needed this individual for his plans, and that individual exists on this school right now.
