2 Mysterious Space

Shino had been reborn into another universe by Limitless. Coincidentally he was born into a noble family, with much more status than his family in his previous life.

His parent David and Lily Azeroth were one of the kindest people to him. But as they were not his actual parents..well.there were actually his parents. But that still did not make feel too comfortable.

Shino also wasn't used to being treated like a baby, especially as a genius with an IQ over 200.

"Bang Bang!!"

"Can I come in my little Shino?"

"Goo Goo Gaa Gaa."

"I'm going to take that as a yes."

Though that was not what Shino was trying to convey, he really didn't mind as his mother had probably come to feed him. And he was feeling a little squeamish.

"Ohhh who's the cutest. It's you, It's you."

Shino rolled his eyes. "Woman, can you just feed me already."

Of course, that came out as goo-goo gaga. But the message must have gotten through to his mother as she picked him up and started to breastfeed him.

The feeling was...mmmm...Unique?

The way she looked at him tenderly as he fed off her was giving him the shivers. And even with his IQ, he was getting a little delusional seeing this woman that looked only slightly older than him in his past life breastfeed him.

"Bad Shino. She's your baby mama...I mean mama."

His mother was truly a beauty and it was quite a shame since his body wasn't mature enough to have any reaction to the beautiful sight he was enjoying. Shino still had the mind of a seventeen-year-old.

"Mama's done for now. Have a nice nap Shino." Soon enough she had finished feeding him and left.

It had been around two days in this world since Shino had been born. During the time he had not been idle as he had been exploring his powers. And it was quite uneventful if you could call it that.

He had tried to activate his power to see all energy, but nothing really happened. The only surprise he had was the space in his mind.

It was probably one of the powers that Limitless had added to his ocular abilities. He was actually quite looking forward to it. But so far nothing had come up. It was all just an empty white space.

After the feeding from his mother, he decided that he ought to go and visit the space again and find out its mysteries.

With only a thought he was able to finally appear in the black space. The familiar scene greeted him with only silence.

"What is the purpose of this space?"

Even with his IQ, Shino could only scratch his head. The black space was just there emanating an eerie feeling. When Shino was put into situations like this he always liked to go into the lotus position and meditate and find the answers to his problems.

The moment he went into the lotus position he instantly calmed himself down and started following a breathing technique he created in his past life.

Shino could instantly feel a weird energy flow into his mental body. Shino's mental body was the one that entered the mental space. He didn't know why but his mental body had taken the form of a toddler.

The instant he felt the energy flow into his mental body, he could feel himself grow a little bigger.

It struck Shino like lighting. The purpose of the mental space was to train his mind. He theorized that for him to control different energies, he had to have a strong enough mind. If he was correct, this space was a godsend. Literally.

1 year old.

2 years old.

3 years old.

Shino had kept on growing to the point of an 8-year-old before he stopped growing. He had tried to absorb more of the energy, but he could feel nothing. As soon as he tried to stand up he was rudely kicked out of the space.

As he lay inside his crib. Shino could feel the rejection from the space in his head.

"Seem's like the weird space only allows me to absorb a certain amount of energy before it kicks me out."

It bothered Shino, but he realized it was probably one of the restrictions Limitless had put on him. But Shino wasn't that disheartened, he had finally cracked the case of the mysterious space.

But now there was nothing else for Shino to do. Laying inside his crib, Shino decided to try and sense for energies in the air. And surprising it worked. He could feel different particles flowing in the air.

They were so numerous it seemed like someone had spray painted the air. The particle all seemed to be color coded into different groups.

The particle that had the most influence was the white ones. The rest of the particles were red, green, brown, blue. There were, of course, other particles, but there were in the minority all constituting to about 5 percent of all the particles.

This was the moment that Shino had been waiting for all his life. He would now embark on the journey to become a higher level being.

Shino directed all his mental energy and focused his energy on trying to pull in an area of the white energy to him. At first, there was no response, but they were slowly but surely being pulled to him.

As the pace was incredibly slow, he decided to focus on a smaller area of the white energy. The result was instantaneous as the energy was pulled to him at a faster rate.

He was quite excited when the energy was about to touch him but was disappointed when the energy stopped not being able to enter into his body.

"What's happening, why can't the energy go into my body."

Even with Shino's genius, he was stumped. No matter what he did the energy would not enter his body.

"Maybe I can direct the energy into my eyes. My eyes have the ability to absorb all types of energy."

This time it worked, the white energy was absorbed by his eyes. Shino thought that everything was going quite well when he realized that he had lost control of the white energy. A devouring force had just erupted from his eyes. The white energy seemed to go out of control as it was being wildly absorbed by his eyes.

Shino didn't know what was going on, only that his body had started to get the feeling of being full. It started getting bad to the point, he felt his body inflating.

"And this is what happens when you don't have self-control. I'll step in this one time, and it is quite a blessing for you to awaken this power at an early stage of your life. Next time you should show a little bit of self-control."

Shino could suddenly hear Limitless's voice ringing in his head. But before he could say anything, he unfortunately blacked out.
