8 Track tryouts

At the end of 7th period, while calling dismissal, the loud speakers announced that tryouts were today, and open to all students that were willing to come. They also said that everyone made the team, just some would be grouped into JV, or varsity.

Varsity only accepted five people per event for the team, so it was tough to make the top five slots.

Beforehand, the athletes had to change out into their Pe uniform, or any other clothes they had brought. Trey and his group had already thought of a plan to take Sam down. He wouldn't even have a chance at beating anyone in tryouts if he couldn't compete!

Earlier, in gym class hey had watched him closely while opening his locker, and found out his code. So they unlocked his locker, and took his gym clothes, and extra change of clothes so he couldn't run.

When Sam got to his locker, he found that his gym clothes had been stolen. Those fools, Sam thought. They didn't know of his powers. So before they could get to their lockers, he splashed water on their clothes, drenching them. He also froze, and broke the gears inside their locks, making it unable to open.

He also took his extra pair of clothes that he brought in his back pack for this specific purpose, and changed into those.

Then, as everybody was walking in, including Trey and his posse, Sam walked out. Trey and his followers were shocked, hadn't hey taken his clothes, and put them in the toilet? What happened?

Once they tried to open their lockers, they had been broken, the locks not letting up. Finally, Trey broke the lock off, only to find his clothes cold, and wet.

Trey stormed from the locker room, going up to the coach complaining about his wet jersey and the locks being broken. Being as popular as he was, anda star on the team, the coach made some kids give Trey their extra uniforms so he could try out.

Sam still wasn't worried though. He knew, with his strength and his speed he could easily beat Trey.

Likewise, Trey believed the same thing. Thinking no matter how little he tried, he could demolish Sam. So that why he was quite surprised when Sam sprang from the starting blocks, passing everyone immediately. Trey was so surprised, his time was much lower than his best, and Sam crushed him by a mile. The coach was quite impressed by this, patting Sam on the back and congratulating him from being half a second away from the schools record.

Trey's time, might not even be enough to make the JV team as a Junior!

Though, Trey wasn't completely angered, since his best events were still to come.
