1 His first assignment

The Lord had a special assignment for an angel. The Lord had been tracking two teens, Annabelle and Samuel who had extremely high potential levels. They needed a guardian angel for the task the Lord was going to give the two. He needed someone with experience, knowledge, power, but also someone that knew when to show restraint.

Suddenly someone popped into his mind. Someone who had been serving under him for years, and was actually coming to see him that very second.

"Jeremy! " The Lord of the heavens called to his most trusted angel. Once Jeremy arrived he continued, "You have worked with me for many hundreds of years and I trust you completely"

"Your praise is appreciated my Lord" Jeremy replied serenely.

"You know of Annabelle Owens and Samuel Henson, correct? "

"Indeed my Lord... You have mentioned their potential for greatness"

"I wish for you to bestow upon them great powers, and guide them through their journey as a guardian angel" the Lord said smiling

"But... my Lord.... only few angels in the galaxy ever..." Jeremy was practically at a loss for words.

"I have complete trust in you" The Lord said, repeating his earlier words

"Then I will gladly take on this challenge, Lord. I will not fail"

"Very well. Give young Samuel the gift of the sun, and give young Annabelle the gift of the sea. Farewell dear Jeremy, the Guardian Angel of Sirus. These youngsters fates rest one your shoulders. "

"And farewell to you, My great Lord I will keep your teachings with me always"

With that, Jeremy bowed his head gracefully. He had many emotions bubbling in his head at the moment, but it all boiled down to two major ones. Nervous, because one wrong step could lead to imminent failure of the assignment, and loss in trust from the Lord. But also exited, since he had not been in the mortal world for many centuries, and the earth had undergone so many changes.

Jeremy could not fathom the fact that the Lord had given him such an important assignment and he vowed not to fail. He lifted his head, now thinking only about his new title, Jeremy the Guardian angel of sirus.

As he was reaserching these two children more and more, he realized they were quite special, so much potential. He could see why his Lord hand selected them. The funny thing was they lived in the same city, went to the same school, but barely knew about each other's existence, only the bare minimum at least.

They both attended Palm Creek High School as freshmen, both sharing most classes. But the similarities between the two ended there. Samuel, Sam for short, was tall, blonde, cute, but he had glasses, impaired speech, loved anime, and was the least athletic in the school making him at the lowest of the social classes. However, Annabelle was striking, bleach blonde hair, perfect proportions, and extremely athletic. But she didn't have a boyfriend which was odd for such a socialite like her, but all the boys at school chased her too much for her liking, and sometimes went too overboard.

Jeremy called out a quick chant, and sliced open a portal in time investigating each Annabelle and Sam's past.
