Apologizing- a small present

Sang Qian stared at his face blankly. He never answered her call, she thought she almost failed. She failed this test of life but here he was, smiling at her. That one smile that made her heart skip a million beats and left her mesmerized.

She stared in his eyes. They were gentle and soft. She could see the big black umbrella hovering over them and protecting them from rain as they stood closer to each other with almost no gap between their bodies.

She blinked lightly. She didn't answer him. She just stared at him with a lost expression on her face. She looked down at his chest. Tears were welling up in her eyes. She wanted to tell him, how sad she was after what happened this morning.

She pursed her lips and nodded. "I am sorry."

Wang Zhao frowned when she averted her eyes down to his chest. He didn't like it. Was she sad? Why didn't she make any comeback? Why was she silent? Why was she even apologizing?
