15 Hybrids

Elijah was desperately waiting for Ansel to come home after he found out that someone stole all the bloodstock of Mystic Falls hospital and by someone, he knew that it was Ansel.

Jonas observes Elijah's behavior is a little different than usual so he gets thought of asking.

"You need something, Elijah?"

Elijah looks at Jonas and sighs with tense

"Assurance, What I need is to be assured that I won't let Ansel walk on the path Klaus already have walked for thousand years"

"What path?"

"The path of hatred," Elijah says reluctantly.

"See our Father didn't hunt us all, it was just Niklaus but we ran with him for over a millennium and in a few centuries my other siblings many times considered that we should part our paths with Niklaus so that we can have more chances to live peacefully and it happened more than once which started to make Niklaus feel insecure and his fear just kept growing which led to this moment and now all I did is shown the other perspective of the story to Ansel which shows Klaus as a felon and now Ansel is feeling little betrayed because he is seeing this as not a matter of family but an interspecies dilemma" Elijah explains further.

"What does that mean?"

"Someone stole all blood from Mystic Falls Hospital and I think it's him and he is making more hybrids"

"But that also requires a werewolf to turn into a hybrid"

"I saw a few footsteps in woods last night and I heard a werewolf bit Rose last night so yes there must be more than one out there" Elijah proceeded.

Elijah then heard a knocking on the door and he opens it and if he was a normal human then he might have got a heart attack by seeing it.

"One...two...three...four...seven...twelve... thirteen" Elijah counts the number of hybrids standing outside.

"Elijah?" Ansel says looking at the expression of his big brother.

"Yes," Elijah replies with the absence of mind.

"Are they all?...Hybrids?" He asks.

"Yes, at first I wasn't planning to turn them all but once I turned Jules, she led me to the others but she said that they need human blood after turning and a place called the hospital keeps a stock so we had to take it from there and that's why it got me...us late" Ansel explains his actions.

Elijah didn't tell him about the outside world and how much it has changed and it was the reason Ansel was just doing things he wanted and not thinking about consequences and limits the supernatural creatures have.

"Brother, we need to talk... alone" Elijah says and gestures him to come inside.

"What about them?" Ansel asks Elijah about the hybrids.

"They can go back from where ever they came from and we'll reach them tomorrow morning" Elijah says.
