2 First Quest

I walked to the main guild of the city as it was shown in the mini map. The amount of money I had was shown on the bottom left of my view beside the mini map. I had 15000 credits as my money, I entered the guild and most of the people looked at me funny. I didn't care about what they thought of me. I went to the guild's receptionist and asked her to give me a registration form.

I filled it and she asked me about my class. I told her that it was assassin. Most of the guild members were shocked.

"You, the one called Sorata Ozora is an assassin?" the receptionist asked me.

"Yeah, but only a beginner." I replied and she was shocked.

A person from the guild heavily built came to me and pat on my shoulder saying,"Quit joking, kid. They are a dying class and there's no way a soft looking kid like you'd be an assassin." smiling. I stayed calm as all people were laughing and soon everybody became quite friendly with me.

"My name is Kakeru Takeshima." A person said as he came to me and continued,"Nice to meet you Ozora."

"Nice to meet you Takeshima" I replied to him as I put my hood on.

I went to the quest board and took a quest of killing a monster chimera. I took the quest and went to the outskirts of the city by taking the rooftops. I hid in the bushes after reaching the outskirts as it was a forest area. I heard a strange sound. I activated my ability and was able to see the chimera which was a few meters away from me. It was a level 25 chimera and I was level 1.

I had an idea to kill it with my hidden blade, so I climbed the trees and jumped on it. I stabbed it in the head using my right hidden blade and killed it. I earned 2500 xp and reached level 12 which gave me twelve skill points. The bar showed me,"Fire type magic for offense unlocked, Wind type magic for defense, Dark type magic for stealth. Each magic has an alternative upgradable skill along with your class."

I opened the 'menu bar' or a sort of thing and opened the skill tree slot. It showed the tree starting from the main slot attached in four different directions, one for the class' abilities and skills and the rest three for the main magic mastery.

The help bar also told me that I could use any element of magic I can but not as strong as these three. I could also learn any type of skill of other class if the one teaches me the skill. I could also modify weapons by enchanting them with my magic.

I spent my twelve skill points on three of each abilities. I heard the sound of an explosion and I immediately rushed in that direction to see what had happened. There I saw a horde of orcs fighting travellers. I jumped onto one and immediately stabbed it in the backside of its neck with my hidden blade. The remaining orcs were alerted as I took out my katana and held it in my right hand.

Two orcs had come to attack me but I countered it and I beheaded one along stabbing the left one in its chest with my left hidden blade. I killed the orcs who were attacking and fighting with the travellers. Then, the leader of the horde had come to attack me but it dodged it. The orc was about seven feet tall and was heavily armoured. I enchanted my katana with a combination of fire and wind magic which created an aura created by flames which surrounded the sword.

I used the element of darkness to create a dark fog around it which blinded it for a few moments and I stabbed it in the lower right abdominopelvic quadrant as that was the only part which was not covered with armour. I went back and the orc laughed as if the stab meant a joke for it.

Then, the orc started to get suffocated as my attack was a combination of all the three elements rather than two. There was skill named 'poisoning' in the skill tree of dark magic. The aura around the blade was to break the skin of the target, while there is poison enchanted within the blade to internally contaminate the target's organs killing them. The orc choked itself due to the poisoning and vomited out blood.

"How were you able to do It?" the orc asked me.

"So you can speak." I replied to him in a surprised tone. I explained my process of enchantment in a sequential way.

"To be killed by a puny assassin like You..." were the orcs last words as it passed away. The travellers thanked me for helping them and they rewarded me with 30,000 credits as most of them were rich merchants.

I travelled with the merchants to the city and took the rooftops to reach the guild but I collided with a girl on my way to the guild. We both had shared an accidental kiss.

"Why? You pervert" the girl cried as she kicked me in the stomach pushing me down from the building but luckily I caught a ledge due the gifted instincts of an assassin. I went down from the building and walked to the guild to avoid dangers like that.

I reported the completion of my quest and was paid 23,000 credits. I had totally 68,000 credits and spent 1,478 credits on the repair of my armour. I had totally 66,522 credits left and I rented a room in an inn to spend the night.
