15 Chapter 15. A new friend?

Sorry for the short chapter!

It was a beautiful morning.

Birds were singing, waking up many of the forest creatures along with a certain red head from his slumber. A yawn escaped my mouth as I listened to the bird that was sitting on the window.

I rolled over on the wooden bed but froze when I heard a gasp come from beside me. My eyes shot open and met bright green eyes with long eyelashes looking directly at me only a foot away.

I screamed as my ears pressed back against my head, I shot up, backing away from the person pressing my back against the wall ignoring the sharp pain from my wound. The person also screamed and fell back on the floor while looking at me with wide eyes.

I stopped screaming, breathing heavily while looking at the person on the floor in shock. while holding my tail against my chest I finally took in her appearance. She had light brown hair with a couple blue streaks going through it that was pulled up into pig tails.

She had a round face, button nose and rosy cheeks. Of course she also had long pointy ears like the older man that tended to my wounds.

She was wearing a brown skirt that blended into the wooden walls but it had bright yellow designs on it, it looked like gold. She was also wearing a lighter brown... bra? It was showing a lot of skin and it had golden designs in it like her skirt.

My consciousness got the better of me and I looked away in respect. I slipped the robe off and held it out in front of me for her.

"Put it on, please."

The girl looked at the robe with confusion but gently took it from my hand none the less. I kept my eyes off her as she slipped the robe on over her body. I looked over at her and coughed lightly as the flush from my cheeks went away.

It was a little big it I was satisfied, I could see her face was bright red as she looked away where but me. She doesn't look like she'll hurt a fly... I still gotta be cautious though. Even the most innocent and weak looking can be the strongest here... I sigh, I guess I'll be the one to start up a conversation.

"Why were you staring at me?"

My question caused the bright red girl to look up at me with embarrassment but then look away quickly.

"I-I-I ju-just..."

I raised an eyebrow at her as she tried to form words. She looked at the ground while pulling at her skirt.

"W-we've never had ou-outsiders.."

Her voice was so soft I could barely hear her, I chuckled softly at her innocent answer causing her to grow more embarrassed.

"Well, my names Rune, what's yours?"

She looked up at me for the first time looking me in my eyes and smiled.

"M-my names Ella! E-Ella Laurier!"

Wait... THIS IS THE OLD MANS DAUGHTER! The girl noticed my wide eyes and looked at me confused. I coughed as I cleared my throat.

"Are you perhaps Gaius's daughter?"

Ella smiled and shook her head as her shyness and embarrassment went away completely.

"No, I'm his granddaughter! My mother is Grandpas daughter."

My mouth pressed into a line as I looked down in thought.

Huh.... well the elder said he would answer my questions but I need to find him first.

Ella probably knows where he is...

After a few minutes I finally spoke up making the girl jump a little.

"Could you get your grandpa for me?"

She nodded her head softly.

"Of course! He should be with mama."

while getting up off the ground she smiled at me and she walked over to the door but stopped.

She turned around and walked over in front of me making me look up at her from my spot on the wooden bed. She pulled off the robe I gave her and gently held it out in front of me to grab. I looked away again and gently grabbed the robe from her hand.

"T-Thank you..."

I heard her say before backing up and walking out the door to go get her grandfather. I sighed as I laid back on the wooden slab.

"I miss my soft comfortable bed."

I whined as I felt my stiff muscles in my back. It's not that I don't appreciate the elders hospitality but...

I need to get out of this place....

I need to go explore, see what type of world I've dropped in.. see if anyone else has been dropped in this world.

See who's body I took hostage. From the Dirty rages and chain I suspected he was a slave...

Maybe I don't want to know...
