Norman was currently in Dr. Connors' laboratory, while the previous day was extremely relaxing now that he was back he had to continue working.

In the time he was away both Curtis and Gwen continued to work on the Connors Formula Serum.

In addition to that the serum had been tested on two more people, the first being a former war veteran who had lost his leg in the war, while the second was a girl who had to have her left arm amputated after being involved in a terrible accident.

In both cases, the regeneration of the lost limb was a success, of course both subjects would be undergoing various tests over a period of time in order to monitor their condition, as for the first experimental subject, well, Connors was doing well and was clearly happy to have his lost arm back.

The atmosphere in the lab was somewhat cheerful, after all seeing that the product of their days of work and sleepless nights was actually successful made the three involved in a completely cheerful mood.

"Could you repeat what you just said" requested Osborn as he looked at his blonde co-worker, Curtis also nodded at Norman's words, as he too had not understood what Gwen meant.

Gwen just gave only a sigh before she began to speak, "Well, my father feels that I should concentrate on college and has been insisting that I should stop working in the laboratory" she explained calmly however a small tone of irritability could be heard in her voice.

"And you don't want to?" was the question that Connors asked, although the two men already knew the answer and only confirmed it when Gwen nodded her head quickly.

"Miss Stacy, you're an adult, you can make your own decisions and no one should force you to do something you don't want to do" Norman said simply, he really didn't see a problem with the situation the blonde found herself in.

"I know, and I have mentioned it to him" replied Stacy quickly, "Whenever he brings up that subject I tell him that I won't leave the lab, but he still insists, so I came up with the idea of one of us talking to him" she finished by saying.

"So what you want is for one of us to talk to your father to make him understand that what is done in the laboratory is as or more important than the university, right?" Norman asked wanting to know if he had understood what Stacy meant.

"You're right," replied Stacy with a smile.

At Gwen's words both men looked at each other communicating without speaking a word: "I'm the boss," Norman declared when he saw Connors' reluctance.

"Exactly because you're the boss is why you should go" Curtis replied quickly and accurately, "You're the one who brought her here" Osborn pointed out, "And you kept her" Connors quickly countered.

"Can you take this seriously!?" with a somewhat high tone of voice said Stacy as she made the attention of the two men fall on her completely, Gwen remained silent for a few seconds: "It's important to me" she mentioned in a low voice.

Norman just shook his head realizing his mistake: "I'm sorry for my childishness Miss Stacy besides you can be sure that I will have a talk with your father, after all I can't let go of a scientist and researcher as promising as you" Osborn expressed sincerely.

Gwen was only slightly embarrassed at the words spoken by Norman, it's not as if she had never heard those words before, but that it was her idol saying it was something that completely changed her reaction.

Once Stacy calmed down, she began to talk to Norman about the visit to her father, on the other hand Connors just watched their interaction before shaking his head and continuing working, it was clear that they didn't need his opinion.

Currently, Osborn was in the laboratory completely alone, both Curtis and Gwen had long since gone to their respective homes.

Norman on the other hand was extremely focused on his own research, with the samples he got from the Super Soldier Serum in Siberia, his goal was to see where Howard went wrong in the recreation process and find a way to fix it and maybe find the solution to the problem of The Lizard's serum.

At the moment he had come across a similarity in both serums, the aggressiveness, it was as if the serums returned the experimental subject to a primitive state where they only had their fighting instinct, which translates into complete aggressiveness and insanity.

He was running out of ideas to try to discover the solution and all he could think of was that he would have to resort to new experimental subjects.

But he was not so worried about that fact, he was sure that no one would miss the members belonging to different gangs in the city, besides it was a good way to go unnoticed, since if one of them disappeared they would simply think it was the work of a rival gang.

However, before starting his little hunt he would wait until Barnes returned, after all since he already had a live subject, there was no way he could fail.

Still, he had a little time before he needed to go home, so he could still experiment a little more with the samples.

By the time Norman arrived at the Osborn Manor the sun was setting and the moon began to show itself in all its splendor.

However, there was something in the night that made Norman a little uneasy, he had no proof or anything similar, but it was as if his instinct was warning him of something, no matter how hard he tried to reassure himself he could not do it.

Despite the somewhat unsettling atmosphere Norman maintained his calm appearance, he soon arrived in the living room where unlike other times only Bernard was there, that was somewhat strange usually at this hour Mary Jane and Harry would be watching a movie.

"So do you feel it too?" asked Norman suddenly, from what he remembered Bernard has always had a sixth sense, so he didn't consider it far fetched that he somehow realized the atmosphere in which the city was in.

"It's like we're inside a powder keg that's about to explode" he replied simply.

"Harry?" asked Norman: "The young master is in his room, he is watching a marathon of his favorite series until it is his bedtime" he answered quickly and just as Norman was about to ask another question he spoke again: "Miss Watson is at home, she was escorted by two bodyguards I would have done it myself, but I considered my place was with young Harry" he explained.

"What do you think will happen sir?" after some silence Bernard asked.

Norman just kept silent, he remembered the words Ducard had said to him, so he was sure that whatever was going to happen would not be something pleasant, but it was very likely that it would not even come to light.

" We will only know that tomorrow" he replied after some consideration, he would leave his own assumptions to himself.

After a short talk with Bernard it was that the Osborn headed towards his office, he didn't think he would be able to fall asleep, so he would at least do some work and whatever happened he would know tomorrow.

His blade never left his hand during the night as he waited for dawn.
