8 VIII - The most troublesome place (Final)
Fynn: Michiru be careful!
I see some ruble fall from the ceiling right above her head. Using my power at full throttle, knowing that the situation demands it, I run to her and take her outside the building. With my current speed, I can easily cover that distance in a second, since all I do is go through walls. Not like anyone is going to notice in this chaos.
Michiru: How! Wha...
Fynn: I'll explain later! Now tell me where the second years are!
Michiru, seeing my serious expression, decided to do as I say and pointed to where the second years most likely would be, but said that since we are in recess, they could be anywhere. Without even waiting for her to finish, I begin searching for Fuuka's energy signature, and I realize she is at the epicenter of the disaster.
'Please be alright... please...'
[Mission 02: Spacequake
Yuzuru and Kaguya, known as the two faces of Yamai, have made their appearance! Subdue the spirits so that they won't cause any harm to civilians!

Fynn: Fuuka!
Fuuka: Fynn?! I'm here!! Fynn!!
As soon as I heard her I reach out for her. She was trapped in a room under the rubble that Yuzuru and Kaguya created. Destroying the rubble with a lot of care, so as not to harm her, I took her in my arms and left the place. The mission stated that I must protect her during the battle, which means that she must stay with me at all times. This confirms that if she is away from me, something will happen to her. I guess she'll learn about my reality sooner rather than later.
Fynn: Fuuka... what you are about to see... could you keep it a secret for me, please?
Fuuka: Yes, I promise! Thank you Fynn, thank you!
After thanking her with my most honest smile, I begin to focus on what is to come. Focusing on my aura I activate my Au-Ra Raen blood. Horns grow from the sides of my head as some scales grow on my body. The Trueblood armor appears on my body with a flash of mint color light, same color that my eyes take. Switching Fuuka to holding her in one arm, while she hugs me, I invoke Gae Bolg. Then the mint aura from Emperor of White surrounds me, calming everyone who I don't consider my enemy down. That includes Yuzuru and Kaguya, but they are currently in a rampage, so I guess I'll have to fight anyway. Fuuka's surprised face is totally priceless.
Kaguya: Who are you?!
Yuzuru: Question... are you an enemy?
I am getting really distracted with their suits, but I can't let it get to me.
Fynn: I am not your enemy. I just want you two to calm down.
Kaguya: Lies! You are lying!
Yuzuru: Affirmative... I also believe him to be lying.
As soon as they finish speaking, they dash towards me. If my memory doesn't fail me, Yuzuru fights with a pendulum, while Kaguya fights with a lance. Their true weapon is a bow. One with an attack I don't want to deal with having Fuuka in my arms.
*exhale*
Kaguya, being slightly faster than Yuzuru due to her weapon, reaches me first. With a slight movement I sidestep and bring Gae Bolg up, blocking Yuzuru's pendulum, which had already arrived. Then I am forced to roll forwards, by the side of Yuzuru, to dodge a stab that Kaguya sent my way.
'This girls really are trying to kill me!'
This whole situation would be easier if I wasn't trying to protect Fuuka and not hurt them at the same time.
Without allowing me to catch my breath, Kaguya dashes forward again, this time making a slashing motion. This attack, which phisicaly would have been useless due to her weapons form, is charged with her reiryoku, which forces me to use some of my own energy to dissipate it just in time to once again block Yuzuru's pendulum.
Yuzuru: Petition... it would be wise to attack together, seeing our opponent's skill.
Kaguya: Even though I hate it, I'll agree with you.
'Oh man... come on...'
Even if they say it like they hate each other... I know how well they can synchronize. And the fact that I was forced to move at top speed while protecting Fuuka to not get hit myself proves their prowess at combined attacks.
That is how a dance of chains, stabs, slashes and steps began. I kept moving all around the place while trying to make minimal movements. Yuzuru kept moving her pendulum in weird patterns, trying to stop my movement, whereas Kaguya kept trying to either stab me or cut me with a reiryoku slash. I could see them grow in frustration as they weren't able to hit me in spitw of their frantic efforts. Even the rarely expressive Yuzuru had a frown on her face, let alone the fiesty Kaguya.
Kaguya: UUUUGH DAMNIT!!! STAY STILL SO I CAN HIT YOU!
Yuzuru: Petition... Stay still so we can get rid of you.
Fynn: Why would I do so?!
Yuzuru: Question... Why aren't you attacking us?
At this moment Kaguya looked at me and Yuzuru alternatively with a surprised expression.
'Did she really only now notice it?'
Fynn: Because I have no animosity towards you. In fact, all I want is to help you and protect my territory.
Kaguya: And why should we believe that?!
Fynn: Because I know who you are, Yamai.
Yuzuru: Proposal... Then, if you can take this attack and come out unharmed, we shall at least listen to you.
Kaguya: As if he could take our final attack!
Fynn: I really expected it not to come to this... Fuuka!
At my call Fuuka, who had been hugging me tightly while I held her in my free arm, looked up from my chest. I could see nothing but worry and fear in her eyes. In response to her feelings, I gave her the warmest smile I could muster.
Fynn: I need you to brace yourself, ok? After this, it will all be over.
Fuuka: Ok... I trust you.
Fynn: Ok then... do as you may, Yamai.
Then, in a soft and graceful movement, Yuzuru and Kaguya get closer to each other and place their weapons together, creating their true weapon. Then, in unison, they begin charging their reiryokus in one single point.
Yamai: El Kanaph!
Their shout was my call to act. Channeling a huge portion of my draconic energy on Gae Bolg, I take a half kneeling stance and move it backwards. Then, when their attack was just a few meters away from me, I stab forward and release all of the accumulated energy.
Fynn: Nastrond!
Since this time I channeled a lot more energy than last time, a huge pillar of energy shoots forward. I didn't expect my attack to be so destructive, but that is now my current worry. Yuzuru and Kaguya are right in the trajectory of my attack and don't look like they can react. Without even thinking, I shoot towards them and make Gae Bolg disappear. Then, just like Fuuka, I take them both in my free arm and move out of the way. A split second later, Nastrond passes by the place they were.
Fynn: *huff* *huff* Are you both *huff* alright?
This time I certainly exceeded my own limits. I feel like I ran a marathon around the Earth. Just that second of moving beyond my top speed tired me more than the whole fight.
Kaguya: Why?! Why would you risk yourself to save us!
Fynn: Because it would be a pity for such beautiful ladies to die like that, Yamai.
At my words both Yuzuru and Kaguya blush, one looking flustered, while the other keeps her straight face. Then Yuzuru moves closer to me and only stares, as if she was trying to read my thoughts. I just give her my best smile.
Yuzuru: Confirmation... He isn't lying.
Kaguya: Just because of that?!
Fynn: Well... not really. It's because I know of how tragic your existence is. Being split and losing what you are at birth, fighting your other half to see who remains... it's just sad. I don't want to see you go through that anymore. I just... don't want to see innocents suffer like this.
As soon as I finished speaking, I looked at both of them and forces an awkward smile. But they didn't seem to notice, as they were both blushing very hard. I guess nobody ever talked to them like this.
Yuzuru: Doubt... Does this mean you want us both to live?
Fynn: Well... yeah. It does.
Kaguya: Are we... are really allowed to?
Fynn: If someone says otherwise, I'll personally end them.
Yuzuru: Confirmation... I would like to...
Kaguya: Yeah... *sob* I want to live like sisters... not like enemies.
Fynn: Well... I assure you, with me you can...
*WHOOOSH*
A ship suddenly appears in front of us, which I instantly identify as Fraxinus. Then, a childish and mechanic voice sounds through the speakers. Voice which belongs to Kotori most likely.
Kotori: I'll have to ask the spirit known as Yamai to surrender itself.
Seeing both Yuzuru and Kaguya go into an alarmed state again, I just leisurely walk in front of them and cover them from the ships sight. I then released some pressure from my Emperor's Aura and deactivated my transformation, turning back into a normal human.
Fynn: I ask of the Fraxinus and Ratatoskr to stop meddling here needlessly. The Spirit known as Yamai is no longer in existence. Now only Yuzuru and Kaguya Yamai exist, and they are no longer a threat since they are under my protection. But I can most definitely not say the same about Ratatoskr, having a spirit working right under their noses and not being able to sniff them out. You sully the name of the myth.
Kotori: WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!
I then begin to release more pressure towards the ship. Enough for it to visibly move downwards, even if only slightly.
Fynn: Show yourself now, Phantom! Or should I call you Reine now?!
