4 IV - New Powers, New Voice. Third Beginning?

While I was relaxing in the bathtub I began to think of my powers and new voice.

'I guess that, since my reward was the Gae Bolg from FFXIV, I should just go with the Dragoon Class. Now going to the powers I'll have... Guess I'll pick some of the strongest dragon-slaying skills from the game.'

'Hey, I want to claim my rewards from the mission.'

[As you wish, Host.

Singing and Piano Skills (Master Level) - Claimed

Gae Bolg has been anchored to the Host's soul, that way, Host may summon it when he wishes.]

'That is actually a very useful thing. By the way, when will the Skills come to me System?'

[All skills will be given to the Host while he sleeps, that way, the Host can avoid having a short circuit in his brain due to overload of information.]

'Cool. Now I want to modify my powers as a Campione.'

[Processing request...

Host may now input whatever power he wishes for. As long as it doesn't go beyond that which a Campione can do, it will be recorded.]

Fynn: Ok... let's do this.

'First, I want the spear mastery and physical capabilities of a Dragoon according to lore. That with my boost as an Auri should be enough to compete with other Campione.'

[Hosts wish is plausible, implementing powers...]

'Second, I want some of their abilities as special Skills. Make those be... Ring of Thorns, Dragon Sight, Nastrond and Stardiver.'

[Powers within range, implementing...]

'And lastly, as an Auri and the Campione who has Bahamut inside, I judge t right to have Dragon Blood as a Skill which I can use to boost me in case I need it.'

[Once again, Hosts choice is acceptable, implemented. Is that all, Host?]

'That is all according to my wishes, System.'

[Would Host now wish to modify his voice?]

'Indeed... but this one is a lot more difficult... Since it is the voice I'll have for the rest of my life.'

[I'd advice Host to take his time thinking of his choice.]

'I am a personal fan of many voices... but I don't want to just pick... I need a voice which can express any emotion I wish. A small voice would fit my appearance but it would have no shock value to it... big voices would just be loud most of the time... I need something that can go slightly high, keeping it clean and can do falsetto... I like a little bit of raspiness too... I think that I got it!'

Fynn: System, I want the voice of Adam Gontier, the ex-singer of Three Days Grace, current main vocalist of Saint Asonia. But make it so that it sounds young, like eighteen or nineteen years old would be perfect.

[Host's choice is very good. It shall be implemented overnight.]

'Perfect. Now I'll leave the bath and take a good long sleep to calm my mind and rest my body.'

And having finished the most important matter, I left my room's bath and went straight to bed after wearing some boxers. I was, most definitely, beat.

Ring of Thorns: Channeling Draconic Energy through his weapon, the caster spins, creating a ring around him which makes whoever tries to cross it feel like they are being pierced by a thousand spears.

Dragon Sight: The user channels his Draconic Energy in his eyes to make his sight sharper and allows him to watch through greater distances and ignore some solid objects.

Nastrond: Using your weapon as a catalyst, channel a high amount of Draconic Energy and attack with a thrust. This sends a ray of energy in a straight line that will continue piercing until it either is stopped or runs out of power.

Stardiver: The power requires a minimum of 50% of the users energy reserves and increases in power and range the more energy is used. The user jumps in the air and dives while channeling his Draconic Energy in his weapon. This attack pierces and explodes upon contact, causing huge damage and devastation. It is known to be able to kill myths and level cities with enough energy.

Dragon Blood: This skill activates the Auri part of the users blood, augmenting a his stats by 50%. It has a time limit of thirty minutes and, after using it, the caster would have to rest for at least a day to recover his full strength.

Passive:

Singing (Master Level): This skill means that you are one of the best out there. You have taken your voice to the next level and perfected your use and control over it. It also makes your voice sound more pleasing when talking and it makes it easier to transmit emotions.

Piano (Master Level): This skill means that you are one of the best our there. You have taken playing the piano so far that you can't make small or big mistakes even on purpose. It also makes you able to transmit your emotions through your playing.

Perfect Pitch (Master Level): Because of your mastery at both singing and playing an instrument, your ears have been trained to recognized every and any musical note or chord, even if it lasts for only a millisecond.

Emperor's Aura (Legend Level): This skill is awakened by those who carry the will to never bow before someone. It makes your allies want to follow your lead and makes your enemies feel pressure when facing you.]

Fynn: I knew it was going to be gold but not this much. System where did the skill Emperor's Aura come from?

[When Host swore that he would not be trampled by either person, god or devil, the system caught the iron will shown and gave you a skill in turn. This one is a pretty rare skill which could only be woken by few people through history. Napoleon, Hitler, Charlemagne and Arthur are some examples.]

Fynn: Cool... now let's check my new titles...

[Successor of Bahamut: This title proves that you have been approved by Bahamut, ancient god who carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, as the new protector. Augments stats by 15% when protecting something, someplace or someone.]

'This one is really useful for the future, as I am sure that will happen a lot.'

'It is a weird title, but very useful overall.'

[Genius Singer: People will be always crazy for your singing. You can move the masses with your voice and you have a natural easiness to express your feelings through singing.

Piano Wizard: Critics would put you beside Beethoven and many other renowned composers only for your skill. You have a natural capacity to bring attention to yourself when playing the piano.]

'These two are the most common out of all my skills, but they are very welcome.'

When I was skimming through my Status I couldn't help but read that the title "Kobayashi Family's Heir" is still there. That just shows how much I care about them... it's not like I can break all links with them. I love my parents. I already lost them once, I don't want to lose them like this in this life. I'll talk to them after getting up... I just hope that they understand why I am so hurt. I guess now I can even sing something while I play... I'll think about it later when I see them.

And as I finished saying that, I remembered something quite funny. I still hadn't claimed the Random Reward Boxes. I guess I'll do that and go talk to them afterwards.

'System can you open the Random Reward Boxes?'

[Does Host wish to open all three of them?]

'Indeed.'

Fynn: YEAH! Oh shit.

'I shouldn't have screamed like that haha... anyways... this is awesome. Trueblood Dragon set and white at that! Since it is undyeable in-game I couldn't change it, now having it in white makes me really happy. Moving on... the twenty songs will really help me out when starting my music career. And lastly...'

Fynn: WHAT THE FUCK!

'Gosh I screamed again... thank goodness they know to respect my privacy at this moment.'

[Host, the System requires you to designate an area to spawn the Zinogre pup. It will then be bound to your soul and behave as your loyal pet (Host should note that the System won't take care of the Zinogre's feeding).]

'Spawn him right here. Nobody will ask anything about it anyways once they know I am a Campione.'

[As Host commands.

A magic circle appeared right besides my bed when the System's notification disappeared from my sight and, when it vanished, all that was left was a little pup the size of a bulldog. As soon as he saw me, he jumped at my arms and began licking my face. I suppose that, as a pup, its normal for it to behave like this. Once he calms down, I all of his features and indeed, I just got a male Zinogre pup. In the future, when he is an adult, he will be my most loyal companion when going into battle.

Fynn: Still... how should I name you little guy?

*RUF*

As he hears me, he barks and tilts his head to the side. He seems to understand what I meant since he behaves like he was thinking. I guess naming him can wait a little bit longer, after all, we are going to be partners for the rest of our long, long lives. Besides... he is so cute right now! I mean he will grow to be an imposing quadruped, but right now he is a little adorable pup who still behaves playfully.

After petting the little guy some more, I go freshen myself up and pick some clothes to wear. I am going for a Japanese tech-wear style from now on. It just looks really cool. I am surprised though, since this guy already all the clothes needed in his wardrobe... whatever, let's go greet my parents and shock them with my music. This will also cement in their hearts the fact that they don't know me.

Once I am in the hall, I am greeted by my parents in a downcast mood with big black bags below their eyes. I guess they couldn't sleep at all. This proves me that they really do love me, but that doesn't make everything forgivable.

Fynn: Yo, would you mind listening to something? It's a song I wrote myself.

I can't help but smile slightly when I see my mother's face beam with brightness as soon as she heard me speak with them. Still her answer was just as I expected.

Elisa: I didn't know you write songs Fynn.

Fynn: Of course you wouldn't. I did it as a stress relief. Can we go to that old room were the big piano is?

Kazuto: Yes, yes. Let's go.

I guess they are happy that I still talk to them and am willing to show them something personal. But oh boy they don't know that I am going to make them feel bad again. The song I have picked is "Snake in the Grass" by the band "Annihilator". I always thought that the name of the band didn't fit its music at all. But this song stripped down is perfect for this moment, so I am singing the Acoustic version of the song, even though its original sucks in my honest opinion. Since I am singing, it should be good.

'I hope they feel it to their core... because if they don't make me feel like they will do their best to make up for lost time and past mistakes... I am over with this. I am not up for a fourth beginning.'
