Stealing The "Scroll Of Seals" (2/2)

Mizuki had a Fūma Shuriken on his back. "Is it even practical?' Naruto thought as he looked at him, smiling like a madman. Naruto had a hard time believing he was the kind sensei who always smiled in the academy.

"Mizuki sensei, there is only something called the Flying Rajin with the name of the fourth hokage. There isn't anything other than that." Naruto told Mizuki, acting ignorant about the situation.

Mizuki, who heard this, was ecstatic to hear the name of the forbidden jutsu. He knew how fast the fourth hokage was. Flying Rajin Jutsu was his signature move.

'Hehe, I wonder how powerful I will be after learning it.'

He thought to himself while moving his tongue over his lips. Naruto got weirded out seeing this. It was not sexy at all. Now when a woman does this, he will always remember Mizuki.

'Nooooooooo,' he screamed inside his mind, blaming Mizuki for corrupting his artistic appreciation.

"Ah, wasn't there?" Mizuki asked with a surprised expression on his face. "Let me see it. There should definitely be something."

He extended his hands, waiting for Naruto to hand over the scroll of seals. Mizuki's hands were trembling from excitement at finally achieving his goal. 'Hehe, I'll kill this brat the moment he hands over the scroll.'

"No, this is mine," Naruto said with an expression that even made Mizuki believe the scroll was really his. Seeing this, he was furious. His hands were moving towards his Fūma Shuriken. 'How dare he?'

'It's about time Iruka sensei comes here.'

Just as Naruto had this thought, he could hear Iruka sensei shouting his name.

"NARUTOOO… WHERE ARE YOU?"

Mizuki became alert, quickly jumped, and hid atop a tree branch, hoping to get the upper hand.

"HERE YOU ARE."

Iruka said, running towards Naruto at bottleneck speed. His clothes were drenched in sweat, and there were many dirt patches all over them. A clear sense of worry could be seen on his face.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, NARUTO???"

He screamed at the top of his lungs, still trying to catch his breath.

*Huff* *Huff* *Huff*

"What do you mean, Iruka sensei? Mizuki sensei told me how everyone lied to me all this time. I was a fool to believe you cared for me."

Naruto spoke with an angry gaze, pointing his shaking hand at Iruka. Iruka was taken aback by Naruto's reply. There wasn't a single flaw in Naruto's acting.

"OH, NOOO. DODGE!!"

Iruka suddenly grabbed Naruto and rolled to the side. When the dust cleared, several kunai could be found in the place where they were. Iruka had a look of disbelief in his eyes upon seeing the assailant.

"Hahaha, it seems you are still not rusty. My dear friend Iruka."

"So it was you, huh? I was an idiot for believing you had changed all this time." Iruka took his kunai and covered Naruto, who was getting ready to fight Mizuki.

"CHANGE? CHANGE?.... I only did what was right. Are you still blaming me for that incident?" Mizuki yelled with a rage-filled voice. "I killed him because he was a burden to the mission. Wouldn't you do the same to complete the mission successfully?"

Iruka felt his heartache, watching his friend casually talk about killing his teammates just for the mission. He didn't even know how he had become such a twisted person. Iruka blamed himself for not seeing Mizuki for who he truly was and endangering Naruto in the process.

"I would never kill a friend."

"HAHA, you all were like that. Always blaming me and looking down on me. NOW DIE!!"

Mizuki threw his Fūma Shuriken towards Iruka, who barely avoided it. Iruka's heart was racing as he looked at Naruto.

"RUUUN"

Iruka ran towards Mizuki as he threw several kunai in succession towards the branch he was in. Seeing the kunai coming, Mizuki jumped back and landed on the ground, taking cover behind the trees.

Naruto was waiting for the most opportune moment to intervene. He didn't want Iruka sensei to get seriously injured because of his plan since he was not that heartless.

He had an ominous feeling that something or someone was watching him. Naruto understood Hiruzen had found his location using the "Telescope Technique."

'Good thing I have high chakra sensitivity,' Naruto thought to himself, feeling the change of surrounding chakra in a particular location.

'Maybe I can get that peeping, *cough* I mean observation technique too. Hehe,' Naruto beamed inside, thinking about all the possibilities and doors it would open.

'Now let's get to work.'

Naruto acted like he was trying to emulate the multi-shadow clone technique for Hiruzen to see, knowing it would be best to let him observe rather than explain how he did the Jutsu.

While Iruka and Mizuki were fighting, suddenly, hundreds of clones of Naruto surrounded them. Everyone looked identical and had a physical presence. They looked like an army of soldiers wearing the same uniform, getting ready to fight.

"So many shadow clones."

Iruka sensei said with a surprised voice as he attacked the distracted Mizuki with his kunai. It got impaled into the thigh of Mizuki.

Who could blame him? Was it even possible to keep his mind calm in this situation?

Mizuki had a grim look on his face. He despaired, knowing a 13-year-old brat had destroyed all his plans. Without any choice, he attacked shadow clones aimlessly, trying to get out, knowing what would happen to him if he got caught.

However, to his despair, no matter how many shadow clones he killed, there was no end. All the while, Iruka was still baffled by such an absurd sight. He didn't even know what to believe anymore.

'I think that's enough playing,' Naruto thought as he instructed the shadow clones to pierce his joints using kunai, immobilizing him. That's what they did.

"AAAAAARRRGGGGGG"

"NOOOOO"

Mizuki's screams echoed throughout the forest for a few brief seconds as they dimmed down with him getting knocked out. He was in a pool of blood. His face contorted from not being able to bear the pain. The smell of blood permeated the air.

'Disgusting' Naruto felt like vomiting as he undid the shadow clones. Many memories of the shadow clones impaling Mizuki overlapped in his mind. He felt nauseated from receiving so many memories. He leaned on a tree, trying to process the information.

This was misunderstood by Iruka and Hiruzen, who thought he was going through the trauma of killing someone. Seeing Mizuki's state, they mistook Naruto for believing he killed Mizuki.

This was quite beneficial for Naruto, as they were convinced he wouldn't be some merciless killer in the future. This made Hiruzen's and Iruka's minds calm down.

To make the act more believable, Naruto slept there till the morning after informing Kitsune to wake him up if anything noteworthy happened. At first, he was just trying to act, but after a while, he had to go to sleep for real because of all the strain in his mind from thousands of memories from different perspectives.

"Arrgg"

Naruto woke up with a light pain in his head. The most wonderful thing was he felt like he had experienced yesterday's battle while being everywhere. It was quite a unique feeling for him.

"Good morning, Naruto."

Iruka sensei said as he sat beside Naruto.

"Good morning, Sensei. Do you hate me because I have the nine-tails inside me?.... I heard you lost your parents to the nine tails."

He asked while looking at Iruka's face with somber face.

"NOO" Realizing he had raised his voice, he calmed down and continued. "It's not your fault, Naruto; don't ever think like that. You indeed have nine-tails inside you, but you also lost your parents. So, No matter who blames you... I will support you as your teacher."

Iruka said as he patted Naruto's shoulder.

"Thank you, Iruka sensei."

Naruto said as he gave Iruka a hug. Naruto knew, without a doubt, Iruka was a good man. He was also one of the people who understood him and helped him in his past timeline.

"Shall we go now?"

After having a heart-to-heart talk, Iruka sensei said as he stood up and gave Naruto a hand.

"Okay, sensei," Naruto stood up, flashing a smile.

Following that, all the events went similarly to the past. Hokage forgave Naruto since he was manipulated, and Mizuki was sent to prison. Also, everyone was instructed to keep their mouths shut about that event.

Naruto cried out in joy as he recalled the techniques he learned from the scroll. To say they were not overpowered would be an understatement. Although he had to study them for a while to use them properly, they were fantastic additions to his collection.

All this while Kitsune was looking at Naruto, who was acting like a fool with an embarrassed face. She was secretly happy to see him smile. But she wasn't willing to admit it, being the Tsundere she was.
