10 Unfamiliar suspect

With the possibilities of figuring out old William's death ruled out, Delion has been forced to use his last option. Which is to 'tell' hunter Jingo about William's fate and hope that he will say something useful.

If Jingo continues to play dumb, through the way back to the village Delion decided that the best idea would be to meet cold Iron with flesh.

Delion doesn't like this option, not because he has any regard for Jingo's wellbeing but because this type of Interrogation will make the detective appear weak and incapable of solving a case in any other different way.

Ego aside, William's death can not escape unpunished or chief Ambers might become a bit hesitant of fulfilling the negotiated price, that's the primary reason Delion walked 16 kilometers today!

...

Upon reaching Blenar, he walks in to Ambers seconds later. She is carrying a frown, along with it she is practically stomping the ground while walking. Obviously this large lady ain't happy and as tough as Delion is he fears for the worst. Like getting smacked.

But no, the situation is a bit worse than that, once spotting Delion she approaches him and explains. "There has been another murder last night!"

"Why are the deaths so consistent? Everyone labels Blenar as a village with sweet people! I didn't know that so many would have dangerous enemies." Delion complained, with stress developing he started rubbing his temple after and felt a piece of his dried skin fall off due to the rub.

Obviously the cold weather he endured for the early morning investigation, has caused this dry skin but that's not important here. Holding his forehead with his thumb and forefinger, Delion asked. "Who died? Is it a lady, a man? A child?"

"It's another man, an oldish one." Chief Ambers butchers and before Delion was about to ask any further questions she decided to explain one of the most important parts. "George died and the concept of his death is the exact same! A big hole on his bed right where the buttock rests and a smaller hole right where the neck rests."

"Nothing else?" Delion asked, wanting to be sure although he would feel more comfortable to go at George's death spot himself.

"On his bed, no. I've been there for over an hour trying to find something but in the death scene there is nothing new." Afterwards, with a smirk across her face she lightly stretched one single word. "However..."

His eyes opening up in excitement, with hopes of solving this case already, Delion repeats. "However??"

"I've got a name of a possible murderer." She answered, leaving the man almost at shock but to her it didn't feel like enough. "I have no idea who that person they mentioned, is."

"Who mentioned that name and what name did you get?" Delion queries right away with his eyebrows jerked up. These two important questions, in the long run can help figure this case out.

"George's wife and son, mention this unknown name. 'Selia' yeah that's the name but I have no idea who she is, I've asked a few people too but if George's wife doesn't know who it is then the odds of anyone else knowing are far too slim." Ambers does make a good point, but let's hear out what the qualified detective has to say.

He made it clear that just from a few explanations Ambers gave, he has created not one but many scenarios in his head regarding what could have happened. It's easy to determine the level of thoughts in his head right now if one looks at his face. It's stiff and his eyes keep waving from the left side to the left.

As a start he butchers, "If you don't know this Selia lady, it likely means that she isn't from here. Going around in different towns asking about Selia is a waste of time, because she most definitely is amongst us at this moment."

"George was apparently very paranoid for a week, constantly mentioning, "Selia will kill me, Selia will kill me." At this point she fed Delion's idea even more, especially when adding. "This is unlikely for George to do, he wasn't crazy or anything like that."

Those facts under consideration, the detective continues to explain his theories, "Which points out that this murder spree started because of something that happened in the past and that several people are involved in this."

Explaining another possibility after, he recites. "Or chances are these people somehow irritated this Selia lady in the past, not knowing that she is crazy. And now she has decided to go after all their asses and massacre them, this is a lower possibility but anyone who can murder at such a spree has some kind of mental disability if not a lot of them."

Chief Ambers finds this man absolutely intriguing, in his line of work he could be thinking of 3-4 theories all at the same time. Put everything together and destroy them after by narrowing the possibilities down. His title is worthy and she was about to express admiration for one of the theories.

But, he hasn't stopped talking yet.

After explaining the first theory, he explained the third at a low tone like always so any potential murderers nearby don't hear him out. "Third, George could not be as pure as you thought. Maybe he did something in the past and due to the recent killing sprees his paranoia got the best of him, forcing him to let go of all logic."

"That's a bit of a long shot." Ambers expressed, but her words got ignored so she also added. "Because he is dead, the paranoia couldn't have been pointless."

She got ignored again because Delion is listing the last but not least possibility. "Last, all these people could be owing someone a lot of coins. Coins are often included in silent murders."

"That's also a bit of a long shot." Chief Ambers showed a bit of disagreement although technically did love one of his theories earlier.

Delion didn't argue back about it and just started walking away and gestured for her to follow. "You can tell me what you think later but now we need to question someone who might be able to help us."

...

Walking into Chief Amber's house, he gazes at Jingo and questions directly. "Do you know Selia?"

Jingo's eyes opened up a bit, as if this name could be familiar. But his semi-dry reaction could also link to the fact that the two bursted into the room. "Selia... It does ring a bell but I'm not sure."

Stomping his way to Jingo, Delion grabbed him by the collar, lifted the man up and bashed him against the wall. Putting a Dagger near Jingo's neck, the detective asks again. "Do you know Selia?"

"Stop, stop!" Jingo repeated twice, his tone shaking and afterwards said something that shook the two opposers as well. "Selia is long dead!"
