53 Warning

Looking at the big crater left behind by Talia's spell all Mr. Stoor could do was shake his head and look at the three offenders. It didn't look like any of them were hurt maybe except for the boy who had his back singed slightly by the explosion. It also looked like the one who cast the spell was in a state of shock probably for her own various reasons.

The boy named Sagar spoke out to him while he was thinking, "Mr. Stoor, I didn't expect you to show up."

Stoor wasn't surprised that the lad thought someone wasn't going to be sent out to fetch them especially since they had left the grounds of the academy without filling out a form first. Now normally some other staff or teacher would go out and get the student after a report was sent in but not this time as Stoor was already on his way over here.

He was actually in charge of taking care of the other girl while she attends the academy. This tedious assignment was given by the principal and Stoor wasn't really able to argue with that man so he just did as he was told. The job itself turned out to be easier than he thought it would be as there were hardly any dangers inside the academy to worry about and whenever she went outside she was able to promptly take care of the danger herself, so inclining with his nature he didn't really bother with keeping a close eye on her this time around. It seems that his luck was horrendous because as soon as he did relax she was suddenly attacked by that golem who's only remains are the cracked core in the center of this crater.

"Yeah even if I didn't want to come out I still had to. That being said you three are pretty reckless huh, almost ended up seriously injuring yourselves to finish off that golem. Luckily you were able to respond appropriately so all of you avoided any serious injury.", he paused for a second and pointed towards Sagar,"Well maybe except for you I would suggest you go back to the academy and get that healed up right away and take these other two with you while you're at it."

Stoor didn't really leave much room to talk waiting around for the three to leave, Umbra wasn't in her stupor anymore so she was able to walk just fine, as for Talia well she was still spaced out and seemed to not be able to move. Sagar picked her up and started carrying lifting her by her back and legs her which promptly caused her to start trying to shrink her body as if she didn't want to be looked at. Sagar would have carried her on his back but while he didn't think he was hurt too badly the wound itself stung so carrying Talia on his back would have not been the best idea. Seeing the state she was left in after her spell she was probably feeling guilty about almost harming her friends, so Sagar would just talk to her about later.

Seeing the three walk off in the direction of the school, Stoor let out a sigh before he turned to look at another direction as if he felt something and promptly disappeared.

Several kilometers away there seemed to be some sort of group set up with several tents both large and small were on top of a clean plateau. Inside one of the bigger tents there was someone kneeling down in front of a figure who was currently sitting down on a large chair surrounded by two people who seemed to be his guards.

"Reporting to his Majesty, the golem sent out fight has just been defeated with it's core completely out of energy and from what we can tell the core is also damaged."

The one called his majesty was the one sitting on the large chair, wearing a uniform of an another academy with it's colors being black and gold, looking at him he had very similar features to Umbra while looking to be a few years older than her, one of the major differences being the color of his eyes. While Umbra's eye color matched her ashy colored hair the person receiving the report had bright blue eyes. Waving his had towards his subordinate giving the report the person spoke out.

"Yes, I get it. Now tell me what caused the golem to be defeated this fast according to your teams previous reports Umbra was supposed to have a difficult time fighting it allowing us to figure out more of what she is capable of, but not only was it defeated quickly we also didn't find out any more than what we already know about her."

As he was speaking the person addressed as 'his majesty' released some of his energy to put pressure on his subordinate who had seemingly failed what he had promised to do. Trying to quickly respond while holding back his shivering body the subordinate spoke while stuttering a little, "Y-Y-Your Majesty, there was s..s.some unforeseen circumstances as while the g-g-golem was engaged in the fight with U-U-Umbra two other people showed up to her aid. From what the golem gat-t-thered both of the new arrivals were from the Drak family according to the c-c-crest they were wearing-g-g, but we only knew about one of them being the friend of Umbra, Talia Drak."

Hearing Talia's name the person agreed while thinking a bit, "The Disintegrating Princess would be a major misstep in our plans but they still took it out too quickly.", pausing for a second the person continued, "Tell me who the other person was according to your information he was also part of the Drak family but I don't recall anyone around the Princess' age that even liked her let alone help her."

Clearing his throat a bit to try and fix his stutter the subordinate continued, "Well you see your Majesty we identified the boy as being the newest addition to the Drak family but he doesn't necessarily carry their name, the boy in question being named Sagar Ganymede. From some reports we could find about him he is apparently the son of Beatrice Drak. It was with his help along with Umbra's that they gave enough time for Talia to cast a devastating spell that defeated the golem."

"Son of the Explosive Empress huh, from what I remember wasn't she crippled and couldn't be healed. It could be seen as a miracle that she even managed to have a child.", while being amazed by this fact one of the guards came over and whispered something in his ear. Being both shocked and angry at what he was hearing the person stood up and shouted, "Why wasn't I made aware that the Explosive Empress was completely healed whenever she returned to the capital, not only this but it's been months since this has happened how is it possible that now one told me!"

While he was shouting about the ones around him stayed silent giving him the chance to calm down and sit back down. Throwing a look at the subordinate as if he was demanding an explanation, the subordinate himself quickly explained," Your Majesty we were just so busy with the projects you've assigned us that we weren't able to tell you when you found out and you were also busy yourself with your own work so we put it off, please forgive us."

Rubbing the bridge of his nose in frustration he waved off his subordinate while letting out a large sigh, "Whatever just go get the core before someone else gets their hands on it."

The subordinate was about to rise up and leave but before he could another voice rang out within the tent, "Do you mean this core?"

Responding quickly the two guards put themselves in front of the person in the chair but they were quickly shooed off by said person as he recognized the voice and he responded coldly, "What are you doing here, Quinn?"

Sitting at one of the tables located within the tent Stoor, or as the person called him Quinn, was tossing up the core of the golem he had picked up from the crater responding to the person, "I don't think you have much of a right to ask me that, Prince Marcus Rex. Also remind when you became the king I seemed to have missed your missed your father's exoneration and your appointment."

Marcus was beginning to became a bit irritated at Quinn poking fun at the way he has his subordinates call him but ignored it, "That doesn't matter but was does is the fact that you're holding onto my property and I would like it back."

Stopping his tossing of the core Quinn looked at and then back at Marcus, "You mean this?", he asked while pointing at the core, "I'm afraid you can't have this back. Think of it was payment for not only intruding where you're not supposed to but also because you attacked a student of the academy."

Marcus was about to continue to reason with Quinn but before he could the core in Quinn's hand was crushed completely turning into nothing but powder. Quinn then disappeared again but not before leaving a warning, "You have till the end of the day to leave before the principal comes out and deals with you personally, make sure you heed it."
