38 Rankings

Everyone was moved from the coliseum that the battle test took place in and were moved to a open field for them to relax at while the scores are tallied up along with making the list of the ones who have been accepted to Skoll. Sagar along with Talia made their way to sit underneath the shade of some tree but it was mainly for Sagar as he was still exhausted from his fight with Klaus.

He could recover quickly by using an item from the [Shop] function that the system has or he could just recover by himself using his internal energy but both of those options couldn't necessarily be used in public carelessly. As for his injuries well they were mostly taken care of by the staff when they went over to heal him, unfortunately before they could get to him he instinctively used some healing magic.

It seemed that Klaus at least noticed him using it and maybe the judge did too but said nothing aloud. Sagar didn't mind that they knew this fact he just preferred if people didn't know that he had some basic mastery over several elements. It wasn't unusual to be able to use multiple elements but it was weird to have mastered so many to a level that Sagar has as most would just learn to manipulate three or four but that takes a few years to say the least.

Either way there wasn't anything he could do about Klaus and the judge witnessing it and it wouldn't really hurt him anyway so he was just worrying for absolutely nothing. As he was lying under the shade of the tree Talia sat next to him not really saying anything she was just trying to relax like him.

After being silent for a few minutes Talia spoke out to Sagar, "I didn't realize that you were this strong Sagar."

Sagar didn't think this was too surprising as when she would watch him train he was just messing around with some spells and it wasn't like she ever sparred with him either. Sagar turned his body towards Talia and told her, "I could say that we're the same in that regard. I didn't think you would be so vicious whenever you fight someone."

Giving out a hearty chuckle Sagar caused Talia to pout a bit as she tried to defend herself, "I only get like that when I fight it's not something I can control. I bet Aunt Beatrice does the same when she fights as well."

Sagar couldn't really respond to that as he has never seen his mother fight before and while she did demonstrate some of the things she was able to do she didn't put off any aura that was similar to the one Talia put out. Maybe it was a trait women from the Drak family develop or it could simply be that it's just something Talia has and she's just trying to make up an excuse for it.

Seeing that Sagar couldn't retort what she said Talia changed the subject, "I was also surprised about your performance against Klaus. Not many around our age could push him that far and certainly not in the way you did it. Maybe I should also pick up a weapon like you did, it seems to be doing well for you."

"Well you could but I would suggest you learn mana enhancement first before trying to fight a warrior head on like I did, especially someone like Klaus. Don't forget that I've trained my body for years now while you haven't, I also had different kinds of support I used before I was able to even match up with Klaus. It would also be good to learn under someone who can use whatever weapon you want to pick up, I'm self taught for the most part and I wouldn't say that my sword play is the greatest."

Sagar continued to go off on this tangent of his for a bit before Talia began to become a bit irritated by it and shouted out him, "I get it, I get it! Why do you go off on a mini lecture when I just bring up simple things! Jeez!"

Talia then turned her body away from Sagar in a huff while Sagar rubbed the back of his head giving out a light chuckle at Talia's outburst. To try and lighten the mood a bit Sagar decided to ask Talia about something.

"Hey, you said that your friend was going here too right?"

Talia turned back to Sagar seemingly to agree with his change in the topic, "Yeah, I did what about her?"

"Well I'm just curious about someone you called a friend is all. You've never said anything about anybody so I almost assumed that you only knew people within the family.", Sagar would have continued talking but the look Talia was giving him signaled that it would be a bad idea if he did so.

"There's not much to say about her really if anything I feel it would be better for you to get your own impression about her whenever you meet.", with that she stopped talking and started laying down almost as if she was going to take a nap.

Sagar did the same except he didn't try to nap and instead became lost in his thoughts about the future. With that two more hours past before there was an announcement made about the results of the tests.

Everyone moved to see whether or not they had made it into the academy. Today three hundred people took the tests but only a hundred would be allowed into the academy. These tests vary in size with the last day having almost a thousand testers but regardless the academy would only accept the top hundred.

Sagar thought he did well and looked from the top of the list down to see where he had ranked. While he expected to be towards the top of the list he didn't expect that he would end up getting the second rank only being beaten by Klaus. What surprised Sagar a bit was that Klaus just from his knowledge test alone did really well which you wouldn't expect out of someone like him honestly.

As for Talia she was actually ranked fourth even though her power and battle test awarded her with a lot of points, she fell a bit short in the knowledge test.

With all of this finished it was official that Talia and Sagar had made it into the academy so now all they had to do now was wait for the staff to pass out whatever they would receive now that they were accepted. They would then go back to Skoll Town to get the carriage along with their stuff and move into the dorms that they had here.
