71 Matador

Noticing the presence of others showing up Matador turned to look at them, "Hmm, it seems more opponents have arrived. I've just about finished with this warrior anyway."

When Matador looked at Sagar he noticed something, "Well, it seems that the person I was looking for was you. I had originally planned to find you later after warming up a bit but since you're here now I'll fight you here."

Sagar knew that Matador was talking about him rather than the two girls, as he doubted they would have any sort of connection to the Amala Network. He didn't know how the fiend was able to use the Amala Network and be able to find him through it coming to a completely different world than his own but now it didn't matter.

The two girls were unsure what this weird undead was trying to say other than that it was looking for one of them and they weren't sure who. Umbra was about to speak up when Sagar did instead, "You've found me and I don't mind fighting you I just want you to allow these girls to take away my friend there.", he then pointed towards Klaus' body.

"Oh, you're friends with Klaus here, that's a bit funny isn't it but I don't see the need to take him away as he's already dead.", just after Matador had finished speaking, all of Klaus' body which was refusing to heal itself, restored itself faster than what Matador had seen it capable of before. "I can't say that I'm surprised about that really, this boy was quite the hassle to take down but it was fun nonetheless."

Matador stood to the side showing that he would allow Klaus to be taken away but the two girls didn't move yet. It was somewhat out of caution that this undead would do something but also because they weren't sure what Sagar was going to end up doing. From the looks of things the person that this undead was looking for was him and he was just going to give himself to him without them helping him. If Klaus ended up in this state where he almost died then what about Sagar who had none of the survival abilities that Klaus had.

Sensing their worry Sagar tried reassuring them, "I need you two to take Klaus with you back to the training camp and then bring some help over here. He's quite dangerous and wouldn't necessarily let you go if I don't give him a fight, that's just how he is. Don't worry though I'm feel that I'm more than capable enough to fight him currently.", he was somewhat lying to them. He could feel Matador's energy and just that alone was at the Master rank, he was also a fiend which were more powerful than their regular demon cohorts. It was more like Sagar was going to fight someone that was close to reaching the Saint rank or having already reached the Saint rank.

The two girls seemed to buy his lie going over to Klaus with both of them picking him up. As they went past Sagar to go back to the camp for reinforcements they both told him with heavy hearts to be careful. He kind of chuckled at that statement as getting into a fight with a fiend required a lot more than being careful to be able to beat.

When the two were a good distance away from them he turned to Matador who was patiently waiting. Seeing that his opponent was ready he began to speak, "Introductions are at hand, I'm known as-", before he could finish speaking Sagar finished his sentence.

"Matador, one of the fiends."

"It seems my reputation is spread far, that or you just happen to know me. It's probably the former seeing as Klaus didn't know who I was at all, yet here you're able to correctly state who I am with just a look.", he wasn't too surprised at Sagar knowing his name as the boy had some kind of connection with the Amala Network so he must know some things. "Unfortunately I don't know your's"

"Sagar", he then waved his hand out throwing his kuda tubes out unleashing both of the demons under his control. He knew that he would need their help to be able to stand any sort of a chance against Matador. Taking out his saber he got ready for his fight against the fiend.

"Berith and Sarasvati, I didn't expect you to have demons under you're control but it matters not.", Matador then struck a pose, raising his sword into the air while waving his red capote in front of him. "I challenge you to a duel!"

Matador didn't wait after that and directly rushed towards Sagar waving his sword out with such speed Sagar couldn't really react to it. Using his instincts he utilized both his internal energy and mana to their max output along with using the 'Explosive Maneuver' technique to be able to move out of the way in time. Unfortunately it seems that Matador buffed himself using his a spell he developed himself, 'Red Capote', allowing his speed to reach the max he was capable of at this point. At least Sagar could only hope that he had already cast it on himself otherwise if this was Matador's regular speed then he would be in trouble.

Berith and Sarasvati weren't able to use the dekaja spell, to get rid of Matador's buff, with him being the only one who could use it, but Matador was too fast for him to properly cast it on him. He instead had the two on a more supportive role with Berith casting Tarukaja, raising the parties strength, and Sarasvati casting Rakukaja and Makakaja, to raise the parties defense and magic power respectively.

With Matador hot on his trail Sagar could only defend mainly but with the timely support of his demons he was able to pull the fight into his favor. When the two demons finished with their buffs they came over to help in the fight with Sagar with Berith thrusting his spear flaking Matador, which was promptly dodged. Sarasvati tried taking advantage of his retreat by casting 'Zanma' but it was countered by Matador who cast the spell 'Wind Wall', nullifying any damage he would have received.

With her wind elemental spells being ineffective Sarasvati switched to her ice elemental spells sending several 'Bufulas' towards Matador. Still his speed was too much dodging most of them, he then used the 'Hell Fang' technique waving out his sword sending a large energy infused attack towards her. Berith received the attack in her stead as he had the greatest vitality under Sagar even then this attack did significant damage to him, cracking several parts of his armor along with wounding his horse, without the Rakukaja's that Sarasvati used earlier he probably would be near death. Another important aspect in protecting her was the fact that she was going to be focusing on healing whenever she wasn't attacking, which she promptly casted 'Diarama' on Berith healing most of the damage he had just sustained.

It was only a moment of distraction but this allowed Sagar to cast Sukukaja several times, raising the parties speed at least coming close to Matador's speed. Matador's base speed was greater than theirs but with this they would be able to keep up with him and be able to deal more hits to him.

Sagar rushed towards Matador, along with his increased speed and techniques he was able to exchange blows with the fiend. He used a mixture of infusing the explosion element onto his saber and sometimes throwing out Almighty spells to try and break Matador's tempo or throw off his focus enough to allow an opening.

While they were exchanging attacks Berith joined doubling the pressure on Matador but even then he was still able to keep up with them. At this point it wasn't just speed that allowed Matador to do this but rather the experience he has accumulated over all the battles he's fought. It wasn't too ineffective as the two were able to land some blows on the fiend but Matador was in turn able to land several other attacks on them as well. It was only with the support of Sarasvati that they were able to keep going.

It felt like they were doing well against Matador and even being able to back him into a corner but this changed when he suddenly backed away from the assault from Sagar and Berith. He was too quick so before they could reach him again or even cast a spell to disturb him, Matador waved his capote about like he was trying to cast another buff on himself.

It wasn't a buff rather a light showed up in front of the fiend that sort of looked like a huge addition symbol. This symbol was made out of some sort of energy that almost seemed electric with the arc points being at all the sides of the addition symbol along with on being located in the center.

From behind the spell Matador's voice was heard, "Impressive, being able to push me so far, but he moment of truth is beyond your grasp as you're about to find out!"

After the spell dissipated, it revealed a Matador who was still standing there with almost no change from him but then suddenly two figures appeared from behind him. Both of this figures took their place next to him with the two of them striking the pose that Matador had done at the beginning of this fight and they both shouted in sync, "I challenge you to a duel!"

Matador had made two copies of himself.
