75 Final Exchange

The light coming from Jekyll's eyes flashed before the Matador's felt a rush of energy surround them. It wasn't any normal energy instead it was one that any demon would be afraid of, Almighty energy. Matador had noticed earlier in the fight that most of Sagar's physical attacks were coated in Almighty energy, which he always tried his best to avoid. Almighty energy was something that was dangerous to most beings as just it's power alone would be fearful but that wasn't the thing to be most afraid of. Unless you have some sort of special circumstance there is no way for anyone to negate or shrug off an Almighty attack.

Matador himself also has an attack that uses the Almighty element with the only problem being that it takes up a lot of his energy. At this point in the battle he's used up quite a bit but he doesn't have much of a choice now. That figure that Sagar summoned, Jekyll, is boosting his power to a degree where even in his weakened state it can't be ignored.

As Matador's mind raced the Almighty energy quickly wrapped around him and his clones before they were fully encased in the energy. Sagar used Jekyll to perform the 'Megidola' Almighty spell which was the one he was fully capable of releasing at this point. Seeing that the Matadors were covered by the spell he started to relax a bit feeling the exhaustion from his battle spread throughout his body. It didn't last for long as the 'Megidola' spell burst open with a figure speeding out of it directly towards him.

The speed of the attack was faster than what Matador was previously capable of not giving Sagar any time to properly defend, raising his saber in an attempt to block the thrust. Matador's attack landed, with the saber unable to block the attack as the force broke the blade in half and allowing the sword to land on Sagar. Matador would've tried to attack a more vital area but forcing himself out of 'Megidola' didn't allow him to aim his attack correctly. Either way he just needed the move to land as the simple force of it would be enough.

Underneath the two the ground cracked and debris started shooting in different directions. All around them the grass that had not be wholly disturbed by the fight turning into dust with the dirt almost following along with it.

All Sagar felt when the sword went through his body was a rush of power assault his body. He felt his organs shift, his muscles begin to tear and his bones started to crack he was really only saved by the fact that the attack was an Almighty one. Matador may have felt that the element was infused with his attacks earlier but he didn't know that Sagar had fused with it making a good part of his energy the element. This allowed his body to be able to resist the element somewhat especially if it tried attacking the inside of it. It wouldn't normally be able to show this trait as before Matador arrived Sagar was the only one capable of using this element. After the energy stopped assaulting his body he felt another rush of of energy coming over him weakening him a bit undoing the buffs that were applied to him earlier somewhat.

When everything was settled Matador remained with his sword stuck in Sagar, "Antichthon is not something I use lightly, I even find it surprising that you were able to survive that attack. I didn't give enough credit to you as my opponent, but while immensely enjoyable this duel is over."

He then tried to remove his blade from Sagar's chest only for a hand to come an grab his own. Matador was a bit shocked he knew that his opponent wasn't dead but he didn't think he was capable of much movement. Even when he tried to used more force to move his hand it didn't budge an inch.

Sagar let out a small laugh that hurt a bit, "It's funny that you think that I'm the one that's finished considering your condition."

If one looked at Matador you would notice that not only was he missing an arm but half of his skull was as well. This was the result of him losing his clones, if one is able to use 'Beast Eye' they are able to make complete copies of themselves their only being on major downside to it. Should the clones be killed then the original would suffer severe damage themselves, this is what caused the current poor look of the fiend. When he and his clones were fully wrapped in the 'Megidola' the best thing he could do at that moment was sacrifice them allowing him to not only escape but also deliver the final blow on Sagar. The damage as a result was something that Matador fully accepted as a cost for his victory.

"Regardless, you are in less of a condition to fight than I, so just let me finish you off.". he tried pulling out sword again but the result was the same.

"Unfortunately for you I'm not going to let you, instead I would say that you were the one who has lost this duel.", Sagar said this with an air of confidence as energy began condensing within him.

From behind, the being known as Jekyll appeared again seemingly helping Sagar condense the energy. Matador wanted to move as he felt the power growing along with the Almighty energy being fused into the condensed energy. His opponent was mixing it along with an another element that he had used quite frequently in the fight and was very powerful.

Sagar realized earlier that when he commanded Jekyll to use 'Megidola', while it did consume his mana to use he didn't need to control it as much. Jekyll would be the one mostly control the spell which would allow Sagar to do other things. One of them was mixing the Almighty element with another to boost the resulting spell. Normally Sagar could do this somewhat with other elements of his but Almighty was to unruly and wouldn't meld well with others. Now with Jekyll he didn't have to pay too much attention to it letting him accomplish his current feat.

Matador could hardly struggle as the energy condensing within Sagar suddenly erupted covering him in the blast.

"We should be there soon!", Umbra shouted to Quinn and Gammel while she rode on Tenmo.

The two had nodded their heads as they followed the big panther that the two girls were riding on. Not long after she had spoke out they had come across the tears in the land resulting from a fight, which were familiar to the girls as they were the one's they had seen previously.

"Umbra, stop!", hearing Quinn shout, Umbra commanded Tenmo to slow down before coming to a halt. Gammel and him walked up to the panther while the told her, "For now this is as far as you go, we'll take care of the rest.", turning to Gammel he questioned, "Are you able to tell where Sagar's at?"

Gammel nodded his head, "He's about a couple kilometers out. It seems that the battle carried him quite a ways away. Hmm?", he started to rub his chin a bit.

"What is it old man?"

"Something really strange, there was a large eruption of energy coming from the undead that Sagar was fighting, which feels awfully familiar. Now there seems to be no sort of movement now.", he answered.

Quinn tried to remind him, "Well, why don't you hurry and lead me to him. We're really tight on time you know, I would prefer not having to take back a dead body."

Even though Gammel confirmed that Sagar was alive, Quinn's blunt mention of the fact that he might still die even though they brought help caused the girl's to flinch. Quinn realized his mistake but he didn't apologize instead a better apology would be bringing the boy back alive. As Gammel was about to start taking Quinn to the area where the fight was happening he let out a shocked cry.

"That's not good!"

Confused at what he meant Quinn was about to ask what he was talking about but he got his answer before he could. From a distance everyone could see a white light growing bigger and the power of it could be felt from where they were. "Don't tell me.."

"The location of that explosion it where he's at currently, to be more exact he's directly in the center of it."
