70 Fiend

Sagar was going to ask the system if it could identify where exactly the demon emerged so that he could make his way over to confront it. If it turned out to be too powerful for him to handle then he would just make his way over to the camp to tell some of the staff members there about the demon. Sagar would help them in the fight with the demon at least in a supporting roll as the demon would more than likely be able to use buffing and debuffing spells, so Sagar would cast counter spells in return to allow those fighting the demon to be at peak performance. If all that still didn't work he would use the 'Seed of Amala' to deliver a fatal blow to the demon either wounding it enough for others to finish it off or out right killing it.

The only problem was that before he could even ask where the demon was, Talia's voice started continually calling out his name, "Sagar! Sagar! We have trouble!"

Wondering what she meant he asked, "What kind of trouble, are a bunch of beasts making their way over here?"

Rapidly shaking her head, Talia clarified, "No, the communication crystal just went off! Klaus is in danger!"

Not only did the demon show up but now Klaus was fighting something he wasn't confident in beating. It was then that a thought struck Sagar, 'It couldn't be coincidence.' The moment that the demon came out of the Amala Network was also around the time that Klaus used the communication crystal telling them he was in trouble. Hurriedly he spoke to Talia, "Direct me to where Klaus is now, we must hurry!"

Talia was a bit shocked by his outburst she's hardly ever seen him panic in this manner but agreed anyway. Umbra was standing to the side listening to the two and was going to accompany them, but unfortunately for the two of them Sagar was in a hurry so he had no time to be at pace with their speed. Picking the two girls quite brazenly, with each being in one arm while said arm carried them by their torso speeding off towards the direction that Talia pointed to.

While the trio were making their way over to Klaus, the person himself was still confronted with this weirdly dressed undead who had challenged him to a duel. Usually for undead only those in the higher ranks could have the hope to have the intelligence to have the capability to speak. This undead speaking only spoke of it's power more than anything else.

"What are you?", this question was meant for himself more than anybody, but since he spoke out loud the weird undead heard him.

"Me? Oh, that's right there were no introductions done. I apologize it seems that my excitement got ahead of me there.", Klaus wasn't sure how to feel about this undead speaking so casually to him. The undead cleared it's throat, somehow, and introduced itself, "I'm known as the fiend Matador. I mainly go around challenging strong opponents for my amusement and satisfaction."

Klaus went along with it, "My name is Klaus Ortnit, I would also say that I like to challenge strong opponents as well.", even if during this entire time Klaus felt a tinge of fear rushing over his body almost to the point where he starts trembling, there was still the excitement that he always carries whenever he not only meets someone strong but even gets to fight them. Even if he ends up dying to in his fight with Matador he probably wouldn't have it any other way.

"Excellent, it's good to see we share something in common but enough of the talk. The only communicating we'll do now is with our blades!", Matador erected himself in the same position he was in earlier when he raised the question of this duel.

Agreeing with Matador, Klaus began to get ready by gathering all his internal energy and spreading it all over his body. He began to fully immerse himself in the fact that he was beginning a duel that could end his life but he would carry on anyways.

The two only exchanged glances for while gauging what the other would do until, Klaus rushed over swinging his zweihander with all his strength. Matador reacted quickly parrying the immense power that was contained in the zweihander causing the blade to cut a large gash into the ground next to him. Matador spun elegantly swinging not only sword but his red capote with him which in turn hide Matador's attack. Klaus reacted mainly on instinct to block the sword thrust that Matador had thrown out at him but he severely underestimated the might of the thrust which ended up picking him off his feet.

As he was flying Matador did something completely out of Klaus' expectations, he casted a spell. It was a wind elemental spell that stopped Klaus' from flying any further by smashing him into the ground. While slightly damaged Klaus noticed that the power behind the spell was inferior to the thrust so he figured that he didn't have to fear Matador's spells as much as his close range attacks. Even though he was slightly injured it didn't matter to him, steam rising from his wounds, as he quickly healed himself using the special property of his internal energy.

This was the main reason why the Ortnit family was known as Immortal Warriors rather than the rebirth they are able to use. Just with the ability to be able to heal most of their wounds allows them to have access to that title. Normally Klaus wouldn't use it as to allow himself to have more fun in a fight, for example whenever he fought Sagar he didn't use it at all only after the fight was finished did he use any sort of self healing and that one was the rebirth ability the Ortnit's had that was essentially out of their control. Now Klaus was using his healing to be able to keep his body hit top shape as Matador was a lot more powerful than him.

Matador didn't bother questioning why his opponent could do such a thing, as over the many battles he's experienced he's seen things similar to it. Rather Matador continued his assault which Klaus intercepted to the best of his ability. Matador's was too fast for Klaus to be able to block all his blows but he was able to heal whatever cuts he received.

Eventually Matador stopped and seemed to have gathered some energy around him, feeling the danger from it Klaus did the same and released a large slash of internal energy from his zweihander. Before it could reach Matador, he stopped gathering his energy and thrust out his sword several times in a flurry. This flurry wasn't anywhere near Klaus or his attack but it was still able to break through Klaus' attack and be able to hit him as well.

The attack was several times stronger than anything that Matador had thrown out previously, there were two thrusts that managed to break it's way out of the slash that Klaus unleashed, causing Klaus to slide against the ground. The two of them cut deeply into Klaus' stomach and thigh causing blood to gush out rapidly. Klaus was able to stop himself while also trying to split his attention to healing his new wounds. Unlike the previous cuts that he had sustained these two would take a lot more care to heal.

Before he could get a good amount of clarity Matador arrived delivering several kicks onto Klaus. While not comparable to the previous attack they still hurt Klaus quite a bit, but he didn't let it get to him. Since Klaus was a bit off balance these kicks would have knocked him over, but he used his zweihander as a crutch to prevent this from happening. He then gathered some of his internal energy into his fist launching a punch directly into Matador's chest, sending the undead out a good distance.

Klaus was a bit satisfied with this attack as it was technically the first hit he landed on Matador but even then he knew that the undead wouldn't be defeated from such a thing. When Matador managed to get his footing he only looked to be slightly roughed up showing that Klaus' attack didn't hurt him too much.

Matador didn't continue his attack giving Klaus some time to heal, but that wouldn't really matter in the end. Moving his capote in flashy manner a wave of light flashed over Matador signifying only one thing to Klaus. The undead knew how to buff itself. He was unsure at what the buff could possibly be until Matador started moving at a speed that Klaus was unsure of when he moved.

All Klaus could fell were several blows dealt to him completely covering his body in wounds. He finally saw that Matador was standing not too far from him with his sword covered in his blood. Matador was able to move from such a distance and attack Klaus so many times without him noticing, but even still Klaus raised his zweihander preparing to attack. At this point his internal energy was working in overdrive trying to sustain Klaus by not only healing his wounds but also allowing him to attack.

Under Sagar's frantic speed and Talia's direction they started hearing the sounds of battle in the distance. Before they could arrive at the scene the fight went silent signifying that it was finished. As the trio came closer they came across the signs of the fight that riddled the plains, with several sword slashes covering the ground, cracked ground, and some craters as well.

Talia directed Sagar as she sensed the crystal nearby and they finally came to the place where the fight had finished. Klaus was collapsed on the ground blood and wounds covering his entire body while a figure in green was standing over him retrieving the zweihander that was currently implanted into it's shoulder.

Looking at the figure standing over Klaus, Sagar realized that it was the demon who at made it's way out of the Amala Network was the fiend Matador.
